Wife threatening to leave. What should I do?True. I've never seen therapy actually help a couple love each other again.. anecdotally, it's always just a step towards the end of the relationship. Why pay for this? Then pay for a divorce? She threatened to leave.. its over in her head. No one does that to someone they love | /r/MensRights | 24/11/24 11:30 AM
Economic Collapse is NearAlso, you get 20 stocks for every 1 you own. 20 x $138.23 = 2764.6 Do you not understand splits? | /r/TheRedPill | 21/08/22 12:06 AM
Economic Collapse is Near3000$ split 20 ways is 150.. Are you really gonna lecture me? Look it up man, it split on june 6th and it was less than 3000$. It was sitting around $2480, now it would be sitting around $2764. All you have to do is google its chart. It's public info | /r/TheRedPill | 21/08/22 12:05 AM
Economic Collapse is NearYes, they are cheaper. But in amazon's case, if you owned 1 share, you now own 20. So it would cost the same $ to get the same % of ownership. I don't think you know as much about investing as you think you do. Edit: To make it even more clear, the "billionaires" would have to buy 20x the amount of shares they sold to regain their position. Edit 2: Since it split on June 6th, it is up almost 11%. It wasn't 3000$ when it split. And in this scenario the "billionaires" would have to buy back more… | /r/TheRedPill | 20/08/22 11:54 PM

Anyone WHO has dealt with severe bicep tendon and forearm tendon pain (bicep tendonitis)Happened to me in Feb. Took until August to finally heal. I stopped doing any bicep lifts but still threw in shoulders and tricep exercises on arm day. I found I could do push ups as the pain was only there for grip exercises. Maybe you are the same? Try this until your arms are feeling mostly better then start with a low weight, and up it every week until you are back to 100%. Don't avoid working out completely. | /r/askTRP | 19/09/19 03:40 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everNo, you're right. The more i make the less i feel like i have. I bet a lot people are like this when they hit financial goals. Sounds backwards, but its been my experience. My LTR wouldn't even grasp the idea of a million, to her it would seem like an endless pile of cash. To me its just side income and will stay as such. And there is a difference because of my low tax situation, its closer to a 65K job here in Ontario, which is still middle class. Its not live your dream money, which was my goa… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 11:52 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everSounds like your well into the grind. The difference between ppl who say i always wanted to do something, and those who say I've done something, is all in the actions. Make it your passion if you really want it. Often we let our fears get in the way of success, or dont believe in ourselves. It's a risk opening a business, yes. But it could be a great way to do something you love, and make money. I cant tell you the right answer here. Many ppl fail many times before they make it big. Always learn… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 10:31 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everI also see a lot of this in myself. I grinded for years, tossing thousands a month into investments. Giving up vacations and keeping living costs to a minimum for over 8 years now, all for the dream of freedom. The more i made, the higher i set the bar. It was never enough. Even now my plan was to grind for 5 more years building passive income up to a level that can give me "the good life". Years ago, i would have been estatic as i never pictured myself in this situation at this age. I think aft… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 09:43 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everYou can go the dividend route and reinvest your gains. This can be a boring and long route if you start with little money. It takes decades to really build a decent cash flow for most people. Other ideas, you could start a youtube channel, open a small business, buy and rent properties, or even fix them up and sell them. These all take effort but that money can be used to buy other income generating assets like stocks, bonds or properties. You'll get there with discipline but you're gonna have t… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 09:19 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than ever100% luck. I'm definitely no stock guru. Back in the bull run days you could pick any terrible company and make huge gains. There was no method to it, i just researched, followed the daily news, and picked what i beleived were gonna be winners. By reading fb groups and seeing how clueless most investors were, its not a surprise valuations got so crazy. Truth be told, you should never take any stock picks without doing your own DD. And even then you can get hosed. I bought some shares in Maricann… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 09:04 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everI think im done with high risk investments. Being up or down 2-20% a day can mess with your head. But what a thrill. Im no stock guru, i figured canadian cannabis would be hype. And with legalization day as the perfect sell the news event. That was my plan for the two+ years. It just happened to work, i never expected the gains we saw. But i was at a point that if i lost half my savings, my lifestyle wouldnt change, so i took a big gamble. If you ever believe in a new company that can revolution… | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 08:48 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everFair enough, i wasnt in the market for the tech bubble. I dont know much about the big companies at that time tbh | /r/askTRP | 14/09/19 08:36 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everSounds like you might need a side hustle, so you can put some money aside. Maybe ubering or something part time. But never expect gains from the market, you can be down for a long time before your ever up My advice is to avoid getting into debt, unless for a mortgage. Look at where your money is really going. If you have to put it on a credit card, you cant afford it. And lastly learn how companies operate, what stock terms are (bids, asks, dividend yeilds, ect) and learn how companies can be va… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 10:32 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everThe margin had nothing to do with my tfsa gains.. That's why I mentioned that you can margin up into a non reg account twice now. The only reason I could make this much was through that (with the capital I had) and yes I got taxed on the non-reg account obviously. A lot of names returned more than 600%, my best gain was on ACB warrants that went from .89c to be sold just under 11$ (those same warrants hit around 12 or 13$ at ATHs) Listen, if you wanna doubt my story. Go ahead. I don't really car… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 08:09 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everNo I never said that. The tfsa limit was 52,000 or something when I started in cannabis companys. These were not my first investments. I already had a 70K limit. I said you can leverage your non reg account with the money in your tfsa. Which is margin power. I used a lot of leverage to get the gains I made but that irrelevant to what happened in my tfsa | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 07:41 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everTruth brother, seen many good men ruined | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 07:20 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everIt's not impossible with Margin power. You can margin out to a non reg account. Questrade has it. To be fair, I only made shy of 800K in the 2 years, the remainder came by gains made this year since Jan You can buy this story or not but it was certainly possible between the gains from buying and selling pot stocks over 2 years combined with my investments made since Jan My tfsa is only around 430K, but eligible dividends are taxed at 600$ if you make 50K a year (And nothing else). So do owe ta… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 07:12 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everEligible dividends up to 50K (maybe higher now?) in Ontario are taxed at 600$, mind you this is only if I quit my job. About half of this is in my tfsa, so remains tax free. I should have clarified. It technically isn't tax free | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 07:02 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everFuck, this list is actually bomb. I think we found the Dos Equis guy | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 06:53 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everResearched companies and followed all the news daily. I had made spreadsheets of my own to track market caps and guestimated potential revenues. For cannabis companies I was looking for the best deal over a few metrics. But in reality it was the hype names that would have made you the most. (Tilray was over 300$ within months, I could have bought in for less than 20$) I guess looking back, in a hype market, choose the industry leader in most cases. (Bitcoin vs Litecoin. Canopy vs Aphria) | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 06:47 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everlol gay reveal.. I cringe thinking about some BP reveal fantasy of "this isn't even my final form!" I feel like only people who have been there understand. Two years ago I would have never thought this possible, but then also having to hide it from the ppl your closest to can be heavy. I think we always knew it was best, and it took more strength to stay silent than to blab like a bitch. People shouldn't approve you for what you have, women especially. I don't want those friends I think I just n… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 06:16 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everI promise this was in no way meant to brag. Honestly, I had way more game and more enjoyment when I was in the "struggle". If anything, I can at least attest that money will not make you a happier person. Was just wondering if others can relate with experience hiding big cash, or working nights. Learning the stock market will get you there, if you're young and can save enough to invest 500-1000+ a month you will be there before you know it. Biggest rule is to live within your means. Make sure to… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 05:50 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everIf you bought in 2015 you would have paid under 600 for a bitcoin. Its sitting around 13000 cad. Thats like 4x the % gain i would have made. Hope you come through and make a shit tonne bro | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 02:49 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everSo because someone will always has it worse than you, you have to love the situation your in? That sounds good on paper. Honestly, Im not trying to bitch, just wondering if anyone has been through similar. And this is the one sub that won't give me blue pill advice (ie. "You shouldnt be hiding things from your ltr") There's some solid people here, and i have found great advice over the years in the red pill community. | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 02:43 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everCheers. Not many can do what we did and thrive. I have a feeling this is my issue, but you've basically convinced me. Maybe not quit yet, but I have vacation time and i think it's time to do some fun shit. At least for a few weeks to see how it goes | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 02:15 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everLol you think im not subbed to that autists playground? Where do you think i got the idea to put my life savings into something so risky? (Ps i used hefty margin too) | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 02:08 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everHell yeah, i dont think ill ever see anything like that again. Was in both actually, was buying crypto in 2015. Moved my life savings into to weedstocks in late 2016 and missed the big moves in crypto, felt dumb for a long time until cryto crashed and weedstocks rallied. (Still probably better to have held cryto in retrospect) Sold the day before legalization and watched it keep climbing for 2 days with regrets. And then fall like a rock. I got lucky. Moved into legit companies first trading day… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 01:18 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everNothing is ever set in stone, especially with stocks.. but good points made. 100% about gold diggers. No woman will ever know about my bank account, not even my LTR | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 01:08 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everFunny. I mentioned to my mom that i have done fairly well investing. Didnt give numbers, but i made it clear that it was a decent amount. All i got were lectures about how i should be travelling and doing this and that. Basically, living her desired life. i couldnt believe it, you think your parents would be the first people to be happy for your success. Makes me believe most ppl aren't happy to see you moving up higher than them. This is when i decided to keep shut around everyone. Maybe they s… | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 01:04 PM

Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everAgreed. I think im just stagnant atm. I never realized how important the social aspect of the game was, or the effects of being solitary for long periods had on our health | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 12:58 PM
Made over a mill by age 34, now more depressed than everYes, i think i just needed to hear this from others. Your right. They say when you retire young, its fun for like a month, and then boring. I think a man must work to get a sense of purpose and meet new people. This is the quarrel i have about leaving my job. A break is perhaps the best idea before leaving a career ive been in for 8 years. Appreciate your insight | /r/askTRP | 13/09/19 12:53 PM

Part of red pill is frame and not letting our emotions get the best of us. Never underestimate the stupid shit drunk women are capable of. It probably wasn't even personal. | 5 | Is it just me or is the rise of transgender discussions making people realise just how shitty men can be treated in [current year]?Reminds me of a youtube video of a "comedian" dressing up as a man because feminism taught her being a man would somehow equate to easy laughs. As you could imagine, what followed was one of the cringiest sets I've ever heard in my life. She totally bombed.. Ended up in tears. (this being the only actual funny part) In a moment of clarity, she started to believe comedy wasn't for her. But her white knight man toy, kept telling her how great she was..
