Well maybe my brain is just broken then, cuz it has the opposite effect on me.

Not gonna lie I’m still convinced that women wear makeup for other women’s sake and that it doesn’t make them any more sexually appealing to anyone besides the lowest IQ of men. Sincerely, someone who has lived with several women and also works in a field where makeup isn’t allowed, and does know the difference between “a little makeup” and no makeup.

This is kinda bizarre fam. Dudes have friendships with lesbians we just don’t talk about them obnoxiously and fetishize them and ask them to share a bed with us teeheeehee. I’m not gonna say that wanting to convert a lesbian isn’t a thing, but I will say, it’s a low IQ Coomer thing if so. The rest of us well adapted social creatures are bonding over shared interests, and shockingly, men have interests besides our own cocks.

100% there’s a very strange case study of a chronically ill patient who had a fecal transplant (exactly what it sounds like) from her very overweight sister, and went from sickly skinny to morbidly obese in a very short timespan. Biology is weird, and that my only point, weight isn’t a reflection of personal character.

100% I think diet is critical, but there’s a lot more nuance than just overeating. My two parents ate the same thing as each other for 20 years and one weighs about 200 pounds more…take that back, the skinny one sneaks drinks energy drink and chips. The biggest issues with calories is that absorption isn’t the same across all people, especially with the rise of leaky gut, celiac, Chrons etc. Not only are some people not getting as much energy as they need, others can end up with a vitamin defici…

I don’t know why it never occurred to me that every woman in my small rural town was getting Brazilian butt lifts rather than suffers from endocrine disruption, pancreas malfunction, high stress, or environmental toxins. Silly me. Guess I just don’t know how fat works. Also Google “Cortisol hump”. But please explain how a pizza is converted into white fat tissue.

I’m a dude, and very familiar with biology, fat distribution has a lot to do with what is causing it, estrogen, cortisol, chronic inflammation or insulin. Then there’s how muscle tone (usually due to exercise or workplace setting) that will cause shaping. Long story short, you’ve obviously got a chip on your shoulder about this and idk why, but it’s getting in the way of you at least being scientific. Have your preferences by all means, but the idea of “calories in, calories out” “overeating is …

Your premise is a bit flawed, there are many guys who are into chubby girls. I think also you’re assuming that attraction is based solely on scarcity. That is only relative attraction. Evolutionary scientists have done many studies on what humans find attractive, and while weight standards fluctuate and change due what it represents in terms of social standing/access to resources, some timeless qualities include facial symmetry, wide hips, and skin quality (which btw can be caused by high estrog…

I’m not the sex rule maker. I was referring to the principle which doesn’t hold up. I personally don’t know why guys don’t go down on girls. It is far enough from my approach to sex that I struggle to even know how to process it. But he doesn’t have to, and if she want her pussy ate and he won’t do it, they’re probably not sexually compatible. I don’t think it has anything to do with love necessarily. At least for me, carpet munching was never an expression of love so much as wanting to spread t…

This whole argument is flawed and is grounded in the assumption that people don’t change, and that somehow the decisions we made in our youth should dictate the rest of our lives. I used to smoke cigarettes with my ex, but I won’t with you, does that mean I don’t love you. Of course not.

Honestly the idea of not prioritizing her orgasm is so foreign to me. I’m not just there for my own sake. If nothing else, simple logic would tell a guy that if you want to do this again, you should make it worth her while. I will say that my first partner had a much more difficult time. Partially from childhood trauma, partially because she was closeted. But because of her vaginismus, I learned about all the non-penetrative stuff I could do. Since her, I’ve had very experienced partners who wou…

Ok so one thing to consider is that certain subreddits don’t reflect the entirety of a group they may represent, especially dating type ones will select for men who are already struggling in that area. That being said, I think you’re picking up on something that does happen sometimes, however I don’t think it’s an inherent perspective that men hold, so much as one that we adopt because of media representation and the fracturing of the family/lack of family time leading to boys not relating to th…

That’s true, but idk why they’re the only women who tend to be receptive to me. Also great analogy!

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying. Midwest, rural turned factory town. I seem to be a magnet for alt girls (piercing, tats, multicolored hair) who are bi and usually lib/left

Wow, thank you for your very thoughtful reply. I want to believe that most people wouldn’t cheat, but I feel like my life experiences have taught me differently, and I worry that I’m just being overly idealistic and setting myself up for more pain until I adjust my expectations.

Yea well if by “go your own way” you mean MGTOW, I’m not really into that. I don’t like blaming other people for my pain. And I have tried polyamory, it honestly just made me feel like an object though, and provided little emotional security. I would love to change dating pools, but I’m not exactly sure how that works. I’ve also never asked any of these women out, they always pursued me. I literally don’t know what I’m doing and I’m 26 lol

That’s good to know. I guess I feel like I’m often told by other men that I’m too much of a nice guy, I check too many boxes and so I bore partners that way. Like of the things you mentioned, I’m fairly consistently the opposite of each of those, yet it feels like me exes just get bored of me.

Obviously lol

This was quite helpful. I am curious though, has your experience with them made you more anxious about being cheated on in the future (if/when you were to pursue a LTR) or do you feel like you have learned how to filter and prevent that from happening?

Out of my only 4 relationships, 3 of them have cheated, so yea, I’m honestly trying to either adjust my expectations or behavior, because after my divorce I’m not sure if I can emotionally deal with this again. I’m fine with breakups, it’s just the breaking of trust kind of calls everything into question for me, and then I become disorientingly paranoid. I wrote this post because I noticed that this fear which I used to never have, is now preventing me from even approaching women anymore, so I f…

It’s like mutually assured destruction, where we each up the anti and wear ourselves down in the process. We swipe more because that’s what you have to do to get any matches, which then feeds into the cycle for example. I feel like there must be some sort of mindset shift adopted communally to see any difference in this regard.

You’re probably right, though between my neurological issues, allergies, and celiac, veganism isn’t an option for me. I will give these nougats however: • Remove seed and vegetable oil, especially canola! • Eat a diverse array of foods, particularly as many vegetables as possible. • Remove dairy. If you want cheese or milk, satiate that desire with goat or sheep milk, cow milk however, besides the lactose, has a form of casein protein which the human body never adapted to be able to process. Thi…

What kind of women are you trying to attract?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/21 01:13 AM

Objectivity died with postmodernism, however social standards are what usually dictated these things. The rules, while important, are seldom as important as their consistent application. Sadly with hyper-individualization, social norms have also begun to crumble, as we create micro communities online which have vastly different ethics and expectations than our irl community. I don’t have an answer, but I don’t think pure anarchy works, we have to intentionally sus out what our priorities and val…

26M, I think they have high standards because a)they’ve been burnt by some “low status” douchebag in the past, b) women can “get” a guy much easier, so it’s just a matter of who they’re going to pick, or rather what traits they’ll select for. IMHO it’s a systemic issue. The bell curve for men between thinking we’re hot shit vs having 0 friends or self confidence overlaps almost 1:1 with whether or not we’re sacks of shit. Confidence and past success can breed complacency. On the other hand, Patr…
