You have to be careful with potatoes. A big, white, baked potato can easily run 400+ calories. Top it with butter, cheese, sour cream and it's not hard to push 1000 calories. I recommend getting smaller potatoes, cutting them into quarters, baking them all together, and putting them into portioned containers. You get a lot more skin per volume that way, along with all the good fiber and vitamins that come with it.

It gets even more costly when you factor in travel. My company has been known to fly people across states to attend a meeting. Technology could easily make it unnecessary to attend things in person, but that takes a tiny bit of spending, plus "that's the way we've always done things!" I more or less agree with you. I didn't vote for Trump due to his economic positions. During the campaign, he floated the idea of defaulting on, or "renegotiating" the national debt. That's something that 3rd world countries and Greece do, not the United States. Tariffs, is actually enacted, would be a disaster. But he hasn't gone hard on any of that, so I was starting to come around and support him. Now with the tariff threat, I don't know. Hopefully it's just a negotiating tactic.

Start off easy, just count calories. That's it. I didn't say change your eating habits, I said count calories. Just use a website like MyFitnessPal and make a habit to record what you're eating. That alone will probably come as a bit of a surprise, and you'll naturally start to become more aware of how much you're taking in. Females outnumber men by what? 1%? It depends on the age group. There are actually slightly more males born than females, but from day #1 males have a higher death rate. The current split for Uber is about 60/40, meaning you as the driver get to keep ~60% of your fare. If you're just taking a drunk to another bar a mile or two away, you've just let a stranger in your car for a fare of as little as $3 sometimes. I'm about to enter college As far as social media goes, don't neglect LinkedIn! You can make a lot of connections in college, from professors to TAs to other classmates, people in student clubs, people from projects, etc. It can be tremendously useful to keep in touch with an old professor if you ever need a letter of recommendation, or just another contact in your industry.
