There is no chance to reconcile. My wife cheated as well for 3 months before I found out -- we did therapy for 3 months before she ended up filing. I was still trying, but at the end of the day I realized I couldn't view her in the same light ever again... the trust was gone, she disrespected and betrayed our bond. OP -- because she said "deal", I suggest naming a time and place to meet, instead of waiting on her to let you know when she is available. Her interest has already been conveyed by the kiss emoji -- if she was any bit uncertain about you, she wouldn't have sent that. Besides, you guys already know each other. Enjoy the date!

Why "should" he get the house and majority of the assets if his spouse is the one that did the majority of the labor to afford those things? Yes, I get that he was the primary caregiver and therefore rightfully deserves alimony and child support to continue that lifestyle, but why does he also deserve majority assets? I'm in the typical scenario... male breadwinner, wife grew unhungry due to my income... now she cheats, leaves and gets half of the most successful years of my life (my income has …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
