Stress and anger can actually cause very real physical changes to muscles and nerves due to mild oxygen deprivation over long periods. Look up John Sarno. It's worth considering at least as part of your overall treatment. Edit: downvoted for stating a fact.

Put on your fucking big girl panties and figure out that blaming everyone else for your shortcomings just makes you a vindictive little shrew. People are dicks. This is the problem with some people. They think because people have been dicks to them in the past that it justifies them being dicks to others. And so the circle of dickheadedness continues.

There is no 'deserving' or 'undeserving' for most things in life. You keep trying your best and you keep hoping you'll get what you need and want. If you do, great. If you don't, well that's just the way life goes sometimes. The important part is to keep trying and to not get bogged down with mental-masturbation. However, as far as beautiful women go, one could argue that beautiful men are genetically entitled to them. Whereas average/ugly men are not. That's why it's so much harder for average/…

Yeah but just because you do one supplicative thing, doesn't mean it's okay to keep doing it. You can get away with a little supplication here and there (keep it to a minimum though), but doing it constantly will fuck you up.

Sure. It's about the vibe you give off more than the words you say. If you're confident and playful you can say some really off the wall shit and she'll think it's funny. I mean, if you're constantly bullshitting, fucking around and she clearly sees that you have a sense of humour and aren't taking the interaction too seriously, then why would she be creeped out? It goes to a point though. Don't always try to say shocking stuff, because too much of anything gets old. Don't be a one trick pony. M…

With knowledge comes power, so YOU have the power. Keep reading and improving yourself all-round, follow your goals with intense passion, enjoy life, become comfortable with who you are instead of always feeling you have to 'entertain' and the women will be lining up to marry you. But don't expect this to happen over-night. It'll take a lot of time and effort. Good luck!

Try not to over-think things in social situations. That's one bad habit you need to break. You need to condition yourself to remove all these bullshit 'people will think I'm weird and get creeped out' thoughts from your head. Then you'll no longer be over-thinking everything and you'll start acting more relaxed and 'natural'. And no more of this 'what would normal people do?' line of thinking either. The fact that you even have these thoughts and that you're self aware is what MAKES YOU NORMAL a…

I actually did this naturally before I even knew about game. In person, too. When a woman says or does something you don't like/doesn't fit into your reality/you don't care about, just straight up ignoring them is always an option. Then you can start talking about what you want. Just stay chill, don't let her behavior affect your mood and you're good.

The important thing is that you're here and looking for help. That's the first step. Here's what I think you should do: Eat at least moderately healthily. Exercise and stay in shape. Keep your mind sharp and keep learning. Read a lot and get out of the house a lot. Don't sit in front of the TV all day like a zombie. Have a hobby/hobbies you're passionate about. (Finding them might take some time and experimentation.) It's actually okay to change hobbies too. You don't have to stick with the same…

Dude, women cry all the fucking time over trivial bullshit. They love the emotional roller coaster. Not that I'd purposefully go out of my way to make a girl cry but when they do, I honestly don't even care. You can't let people with fragile emotions change your behavior and goals. You should know exactly what you want and go for it with little consideration of what some girl thinks/says about you. Don't let her mess you around. Stay strong, dominant and keep pursuing your passions. Best of luck…

Nice list but a couple of things. Talk a lot! I'd say 'talk as little as you can get away with' (This might be talking a lot, it might be talking very little. Depends on the situation). And do the rest with kino/body language/facial expressions/eye contact etc. But I suppose this comes down to personal preference. Try and get her to laugh as much as possible. You can make her laugh, but don't be a dancing monkey just because you're around a girl. Do and say funny shit because it's who you are, b…

You did the exact opposite of what you should've done. Don't listen to what she says. Pay attention to how she acts. If you're kinoing and she's clearly liking it and is into you then she says, "you're too young for me", just nonchalantly say "okay", laugh or ignore her, then change subject and keep kinoing. If she brings it up again but she's still obviously into you, make a joke about it, then change subject and keep kinoing. Gotta plough through bullshit like this. Don't let one little thing …

What you need to do is better yourself as a person, gain confidence, change your attitude then pursue lots of other women. Actually, Tyler has told stories before about how he's called girls out on their bitch behaviour, kicked them out of his apartment and went to find more females to talk to that night. What he means by 'don't judge' is that he understands that anyone can behave like a retard sometimes. And you shouldn't let that stop you from getting on good terms with them in the future (Obviously, if they always act like a retard, then kick 'em out of your life completely and move on.). That's an awesome attitude to have. And actually, the most successful people are usually the ones who've failed TONS more different times than the people who are actually full-on failures. They're just so driven and focused that they learn from their mistakes and keep pushing themselves. As opposed to shying away from making a mistake in the first place, which will lead to overall failure due to inaction. But you probably know that. Just putting it out there for others to read.

But not too much to the point where you're just being a negative little bitch/not having consideration for others (Most of the time, other people don't want to hear your negative shit). I find an ice pick to be quite effective. But seriously, there's no real 'magic pill' / quick fix. It takes work. Work on your weaknesses so they're not deal-breakers, then enhance your strengths and play to them. And remember, don't come at this from a 'I want people to like me because I'm insecure and need validation' mindset, but a 'I'm improving myself for my own enjoyment of life and to get what I want' one. To get started, read the side bar. Best of luck!

Yes, of course there's hope for you. Anyone with a brain can achieve almost anything if they keep an open mind, a positive attitude and work at it hard enough, so try not to pigeon-hole yourself. You can learn to enjoy socializing, you just need to be true to yourself. Just be sure to do it because you absolutely want to. But that's up to you to decide. You may want to pursue other things now and then come back to this stuff later on. Just don't stagnate. Prioritize and work towards the things y…

I would say it'd be good for a beginner to hold eye contact with almost everyone, just so they get used to not being 'afraid' to lock eyes with anyone. It's a fast way to desensitize yourself. Then scale it back a bit and find a nice balance.

I agree with Hawkeye. Get some practice in with random people here and there. Generally force yourself to be slightly more social every time you leave your house. Push yourself out of your comfort zone more and more and more. Once you become an experienced conversationalist you can clear your mind and the words should flow naturally (The opposite of over-thinking things, which is what you're doing now). You'll be totally relaxed and in-the-moment. Then you can start having some really fucking fu…

To be blunt: Stop being so negative. Stop putting so much value on what other people think of you. Break those negative thought loops now or else that kind of thinking will plague you for the rest of your life. You're making an issue out of nothing, seriously. Another thing that can be used to calibrate is some really light self-deprecation. Just say in those rare situations that you take the teasing too far, you might tease yourself just a little or bring up one of your own dumb 'vulnerabilities' to show that you're humble/not being too harsh. Obviously self-deprecation should only be used very sparingly and a little later into the relationship. Awesome guide dude.
/r/seduction27/04/12 03:48 PM
3

But if you make teasing people a part of your personality, you're being genuine. If you start off the first interaction throwing some teasing in here and there, then that's just part of who you are. No? Of course, as you said, you will also have to be serious at times to show you're actually human. It's all about knowing when to do what, keeping a nice balance and not overdoing one or the other.

Keep it clean, obviously. Have some interesting shit lying around. Maybe get some paintings to hang up on your walls. Conversation starters etc. Get a really comfortable rug and put it in front of a sofa so girls won't be able to resist taking their shoes off after a night out in heels. Then you can sit beside 'em and chat/escalate w/e. Maybe have a coffee table there with a laptop or magazines on it or something. Personally not a big fan of alcohol tbh. It's fucking expensive, you need to constantly take a piss and binge drinking is just straight up bad for you. Never mind the hangover the next day. Also for me, it has a negative affect on my game. If I'm feeling it I might buy one drink at the start of the night, one in the middle and just sip slowly. That's about it. Most girls I know don't go and get blind-drunk to the point where they're falling over/don't know what's going on (I wouldn't hit on a gi…

Or you could pretend you see someone you know then leave and start a convo with someone else (preferably girls). Or be like "I fucking love this song, I'm gonna go dance. See ya." Then go back and talk to her later on. If she's still acting uninterested you should probably give it up and go hit on other girls. There are probably a few other things you can do too. Positive thinking > positive emotions > positive actions > better life > positive thinking. Plan for the future. But live in the moment. Try to enjoy your day to day life all the while improving y…

Right. To add a little to that: No matter where you are, make yourself at home, chill, fuck around and chat with people. "Blend in" to the environment. Approach people and chat with them like they're already your friend (almost everyone at a club is open to conversation with anyone who carries themselves with an air of confidence). Joke about and most importantly, HAVE FUN (no fun, no point). You might have to force it at first, just to "prove to yourself" you can do it but eventually, it should…

Don't have time to read the post but I'll leave this advice: Don't make your goal in life 'getting women'. Find a passion/have goals OTHER than women and pursue them. All the while working on yourself, your social skills and becoming a well-rounded person. Do things because you genuinely want to and because you enjoy them. Not for external validation (other people thinking you're awesome/cool). The women will follow. Good luck!

Being in decent shape + having fun dancing (even if you're not even that good) = instant interest from tons of girls on the dancefloor. I actually had two friends tell me that every time I dance girls are looking in my direction/facing me wanting me to go dance with them. I was just too socially retarded at the time to to realize it (Actually probably too drunk too. lol).

Good post man, and so true. It's important to get yourself into good mental habits and your emotional ones will follow suit. Then set out a physical set of goals. Try your best to achieve them. Then once you start to see results, you'll feel even better. Then do it again. From there it's simply an upward spiral of awesomeness. Never underestimate the power of thought. If you can control how you think, you're in control of your life.

Isn't it kinda a part of that far-Eastern culture to 'keep to yourself'? I'm not sure, but if it is, then it's not like it's your fault they're not looking at you. Also, even if they were rejecting you, who cares? They don't know you or what you're about. Stay positive and confident.

The thing about introversion is that pretty much all introverts also have an extroverted side. And vice versa. So introverts may be 'in the mood' for socializing less often, but when they are, they can be just as fun and outgoing as an extrovert. Congrats on forcing yourself to go out. From here on, the only way is up!

I remember reading somewhere online about a guy who had bad acne/spots, tried all types of different products to improve his skin, but nothing was that effective. Eventually, he stopped using products COMPLETELY. He washed his entire body with water only. Apparently, his acne/spots improved a ridiculous amount. Not saying it'll work for you, but it's worth bearing in mind as a last ditch plan.

Relax. Try to be positive, banterful (Not a word. Take that Oxford.) and on the edge of laughter a lot of the time. Throw in the odd tease/statement/witty comment and you're golden.

Thanks for sharing dude. I'm close to doing my first day time approaches, and if I can finish 'em with the same nonchalant, don't-give-a-fuck attitude you ended yours with, I'll be more than happy.

For me it was an extreme lack of self-confidence that stemmed from always being a 'shy' guy which then led to gaming addiction. That then led to becoming a social hermit. And I doubt most people here NEED all these techniques. They just give you a better chance of bagging a pretty and interesting girl. On top of that, the techniques help you in life in general. Fuck it. If most people don't want to study them, then that's their loss.

Right. Maintain an overall dominant and confident frame while keeping the intimidation to a minimum. You want her to be attracted to you and to respect you, but also feel comfortable around you.

Learn how to smile. Practice in the mirror. It will make you seem open and friendly and studies have shown will most likely also improve your own mood. The point of strong eye contact and body language is to show you're a strong, confident person. Pair that with a slight smile and a generally friendly attitude and you'll be a lot more attractive and less threatening. Especially whilst approaching/opening a woman.

Everyone who wants to get better at life and with women should look to improve themselves in as many ways as they can and gain-unshakable self-confidence and self-worth. Here's a sample list of priorities: Wake up before 9 EVERY morning and actually do shit throughout the day to reach goals. Learn how to cook. At least the basics. Learn how to drive. Learn a musical instrument to a high-standard. Read a book every week. Learn game/get better at conversing/improve general social skills. etc. Get …

(Long ass post incoming) Good article. Getting some girl with some canned technique most likely won't make you happy in any real sense. You need to change yourself and become something that makes you happy... then you should naturally get the girls. The route causes of my failure with women (and in life in general) were/are quite deep: It started with a general dislike of my personality/my lack in social skills and enthusiasm for social interaction, which caused me to become very bitter and with…

Relax and don't 'over-think' things. Just approach. Approach as many attractive girls as you can but have a opener/story or two ready to go before you do. Learn from that experience. Then learn more openers, stories, tactics etc. Rinse and repeat. Build up your confidence and game step-by-step. Good luck!

To be honest, you sound like an interesting guy who has his shit together. You shouldn't have any problems. Just be confident and happy in yourself. Joke and laugh about everything and have a nonchalant, relaxed attitude towards life. Of course you should plan seriously for the future, but live in the moment and enjoy yourself. Your new job as a bartender should help you to accomplish just that and give you plenty of opportunities to work on your social skills and bullshit/banter with tons of di…

I was thinking about this myself. I think if done in the right way and at the right times, staying 'quiet' can convey a great amount self-confidence. As opposed to people who have to talk about everything all the time. One of the most annoying things ever imo.

I am by no means an expert but to get over that AA you just need to approach a lot of women. The worst that can happen is her saying 'no'. Then on you go to the next one! If you don't want to do it in your home town where people will recognize you/ don't want your friends to see you do it, then my advice is to get a train to a nearby city every so often and just do a ton of approaches. Good luck!

Nicely said and very true. Almost everyone who wants to learn pick-up does it for a bigger reason than just 'f*cking lots of chicks'. Most learn the techniques to feel less awkward, less worried and more relaxed and comfortable in social interactions and in life in general. I know that's why I'm learning it.
