I come to TRP for amoral doses of masculinity, not a tribal support group. It is our responsibility as individuals to create our own networks outside of this sub, and we do this using the knowledge and theories gathered here. Don't tribes come together under the basis that the members believe in a common moral code? I don't share the same morals as everyone else in this sub which is what makes it so great; individualism makes this sub strong.

Gains: I quit drugs and alcohol March 1st, had been smoking everyday since about 2008. Started a journal last night, it felt really good to clear my head before bed. Practiced playing my drum kit at least a half hour a day. I've improved social interactions at work already since I quit smoking. Fails: Couldn't get hard with a plate last night. It's no problem when I'm stoned but I guess I conditioned my body to that state.

Is this like making comments similar to "you only live once"?

I don't think the point is the size of the team you're a fan of. The point is to stop wasting time identifying with something that you don't actively contribute to.

Not only sports but all media in general. It's entertainment and that's where it begins and ends.

Why is soccer any different? Soccer is the original franchise sport and you see European idiots going even further than Americans with their team antics.

I agree that nepotism helped build civilization but so did slavery. It might work inside corporations but I don't believe it should be sought after moving forward. The best ideas should be propped up no matter who is attached to them. Sycophants often get propped up instead. Patriarchy is biological. Tradition is circumcising millions of boys. Aristocracy is what the DNC tried pulling during the election, a sense of entitlement just for being in the club. The dinosaurs will die and I hope good s…

Damn that is bleak. How much did your religion play into your decision to get married? What are the positive aspects you experience from being married? What do you like about it that's better than being single and plating?

Like good ol boy culture? Like if you don't conform to the group's way of thinking you will be ostracized? Like replacing objective judgment of character with aristocracy? Isn't this what feminism is trying to do but for women?

You're definitely correct about women's reaction to watches. Reminds me of jiggling keys in front of a puppy. Watches are superfluous because we live in the first world where the time can be found on every screen around you including your phone. They're just jewelry now.

Watches are superfluous and I don't like wearing jewelry.

Yes a "polite" veneer. Dishonesty. It's slimy and it bugs the shit out of me.

I wouldn't say polite. They have larger egos and more pride so it's easier to piss them off. Been living in South Louisiana for 3.5 years now; raised in Michigan. Southern hospitality is bullshit.

Where are western women interested in ME men? Or are you saying it's a subconscious thing in women? I haven't seen this in America and haven't seen examples from Europe. ME men are coming to the west for the welfare state. ME women are submissive or oppressed to do what the men want already.

I listened to your rape accusation story on The Dick Show. After all that occurred, how long did it take you to consider yourself red pilled (black pilled)? Did you have a community to bounce new ideas off of while you were changing?

C02 only makes up 0.04 percent of the earth's atmosphere. They have actually found that the increased C02 has greened the planet.

Women enjoy anal sex. This article shows a graphic of the internal structure of the clitoris. It is actually much larger than what we play with. It wraps all the way around to the rectum which is why some women get tons of pleasure from anal.

I get worse ball smell and chafing when I clean shave my gents and pits. The hair is there for a reason and it controls moisture and acts as a sort of lubricant.

I looked at two of these types of gyms in my area and they had very specific hours. My gym has "no chalk" signs but I'd rather have the freedom of the 24 hour access and just ignore everyone while blasting metal in my ear buds. But you either bring headphones or you're listening to black eyed peas on repeat.

That is still cringey and doesn't seem genuine. Bringing up mountain dew to a gamer is very generic. Wouldn't Adam catch on that you're only trying to get that piece of info from him? I would just ask him about the form without trying to be his buddy. I wouldn't want someone trying to be my buddy like this but maybe that's what people working in corporateland want? I've been in a corporate environment position for 3 years now and your post rings true for the promotions I've seen, but damn. I can…

I got hung up on lifting for the longest time. In high school the guys who lifted were assholes and that put a bad taste in my mouth about the whole thing. I was right there with them on the field and on the mat but they would lift even after practice. It seemed like a big self absorbed waste of time. They never had a reason for it besides girls. When guys on TRP would try and explain the benefits of lifting I would equate it to male hamstering "yeah yeah yeah you're just lifting to pick up chic…

I never agreed to the rules, I was born here. Taxes are enforced through threat of violence by the State. I will always do whatever I can to pay the least amount of taxes. Fuck the State.

You would have to know what pee tastes like first in order to draw that conclusion.

Also, my plate prefers to pee after sex in order to help prevent urinary tract infections.

I do believe it's mostly pee with some girl cum mixed in. You know when you see the girl cum on your dick? It's that mixed with piss. But whatever, pee is sterile. It's just funny when you say "she might feel like she's about to piss all over your bed" when that is exactly what happens...orgasm to the point of losing bladder control.

Not really talking shit out of nowhere. More like Swelfie was saying about resolving conflict face-to-face rather than venting to others behind their back. More often than not it comes off as ribbing yeah.

The guys I work with that recommend this book do not seem genuine while having conversations. They seem like they are having to really try and seem interested. It makes me second guess everything they say cause I think they are just trying to butter everyone up. It's good to be a good person but not to the point of being disingenuous. But whatever, it probably works on most people and especially in the work place. Also, I think it's alright to talk shit about someone as long as you are saying it…

do not say "just" I catch myself correcting these kinds of words and phrases all the time. just, maybe, wondering, hope "just wondering" "just wanted to ask" "wondering if maybe" "maybe we could" "would you want to maybe" "hoping we could" Fuck all that. I'm learning how much it helps to be direct.

What do you do when you see a friend that is going through oneitis? I have a friend who is so consumed with a woman that he often cannot make plans for fear of missing time with her. He will show up to the bar with her and have to hold her purse. It makes me sad for him but it also makes me angry that he submits to it. I've gotten myself in trouble in the past for talking shit about my friends' girlfriends. Any tips on how I can rescue my friend?

Yes, that's the answer everyone gives on RP. I was looking for an elaboration of why. But now I have been given the link to the material and the Rollins essay.

That weight lifting link isn't working for me. Can someone point me to what that link is? Why isn't there something about weight lifting in the side bar? I'm currently in monk mode running and doing pushups. It's difficult for me to justify a gym membership only for the sake of women, especially since I work a sedentary job and I have no use for larger muscles.

if you don't expect anything, you won't be disappointed! I guess I did interpret this wrong. I wasn't trying to be hostile. I assumed you agreed with OP who advocates expecting shitty people.

Aren't "expecting nothing" and "expecting people to be shitty" different? It seems like this is essentially losing faith in all humanity before leaving for work.
