My husband was the best lay of my life. I wasn't a virgin by any means, but I also wasn't a complete slut. I had a decent body count, but when the personalities clicked both in and out of the bedroom, it was game over. I'm not sure everyone will be able to stop at or catch the best, but it has to be good enough to not leave her wanting - I can get behind this 100%

Yes, positive. My relationship has had an enormous amount of "passion and intimacy" no matter what weight either of us was. We have great sexual chemistry. It has nothing to do with caring, and honestly is probably the reason we have lasted 18 years. Again, attraction is not always tied to weight, and that's on you if you think it is. Not everyone is as shallow as you're making romantic love out to be.

Sounds more like you're conflating love and lust.

Maybe YOUR romantic love isnt. Mine is. And attraction isnt always based on looks. Although, I have found him very visually appealing at every weight. Stop pretending everyone thinks and feels the same as you.

If done with in a very gentle and caring way, maybe you're right. But that can be a double edged sword and must tread very lightly if you dont want it to blow back or damage their ego even further. Most people will ask for support in that way if they want it.

You think they need you to say something to know they're gaining weight?

He did, and I love him the exact same. All this shallow bullshit means you have no idea what it is to actually love and care for someone.

You realize we can still see your history, right? You called black women "disgusting" and "dirty." Own up to what you said and stop trying to couch your language here.

Ooookkkk. Is this some sort of twisted NoT aLL sLaVeS argument? You're not worth the time it took to even type this out. Get fucked. Edit - how flexible do you have to be to twist yourself into pretzels to believe that race-based slavery didnt exist? True... it's not the only type of slavery, and it wasnt always based on the black race. But, completely denying that colonial slavery was based on enslaving races other than the 'superior white race' is absolutely absurd.

Based on the comments here about your original thread, and some of your follow up responses, it is clear that you went far beyond just stating a dating preference. You denigrated and generalized. Fuck off racist.

No, nice guys are nice guys. I married one. 'Nice guys' are self proclaimed nice guys who are toxic and show that toxicity when rejected. There is a difference. All men are violent rapists is a common accusations This is a incredibly skewed viewpoint of a small majority (that most women disagree with) you're trying to assign to an entire gender. And way to throw that casual reference to an assault that isnt considered "henious" as "benign". FOH with your false dichotomy. Edit: if you think women…

No, I think people have an obligation to protect people. I don't see it as a gendered thing. I do think there are exceptions when you also may be putting your life at risk to help others, and then I don't blame someone for not stepping in. But in a lot of circumstances you can do SOMETHING rather than nothing, and it doesnt have to involve endangering yourself. Its the people that dont bother themselves to help in any way and walk away that are the issue in my eyes.

I'm not sure I saw that anywhere in your post, and I don't disagree with the fact that some people have preferences. Nothing wrong with that. What is wrong is the idea that casual sex is an indicator of cheating later. I was also clarifying how the other person used the term Sleeping Around, as I didn't see them as different.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 12:13 AM

in all of that vitrol and aggression, you still never told me how casual sex and sleeping around aren't the same. I asked a genuine question and you seem to lack interpersonal skills to just simply answer that question. I was saying “sleeping around” as in SLEEPING AROUND, multiple partners, never monogamous, and very VERY FREQUENT. This is how I would generally define casual sex, maybe without the VERY FREQUENT part, but even then I don't think that part is in my definition of sleeping around e…

casual sex is the topic of the thread. Are you really trying to argue that your statement was "sleeping around" as in cheating? So you're essentially saying cheating now is indicator for cheating later? No shit. Or are you saying there is something else that "sleeping around" means if not casual sex or cheating? And, no, since I am not even sure what you are trying to say, I can't say it's true.

I didn't ever get pumped and dumped. Has nothing to do with giving up the sex - it's about the expectations after. I rode that cock carousel and I pumped and dumped until I found a dick worth keeping. Then I married it. Best sex life, ever.

It's almost like men and women have different perspectives on what "dating" is. Moms arent giving advice to get you laid, and aren't trying to.

I've had sex with a 2. Dated a 5. My husband is a solid 6.5-7 now, but he was a 5 then. I think in my prime, I was a good 7/8, so nah. It wasnt about the looks. If we're being honest, it was about the sex.

I think there is a difference in opinion on what makes a man a "man", and everyone had different tastes in what they find attractive for a variety of reasons. I would assume you believe that a man is a "man" when in traditional roles and exhibiting traditional westernized masculine traits. The issue is that not everyone agrees with the premise of that particular culture.

I guess it might just be my upbringing but "the wall" is literally something I knew about when I was 9. There is a saying that was repeated constantly by older male relatives which is basically "make sure your wife is at least 5 years younger because they age faster'. Could this not be the reason that women find it offensive? We are taught from a young age that we lose worth as we age. If that is the truth, then why would we feel comfortable talking about it?

Theres a difference between purposely withholding sex to get something you want vs me describing what happens in my marriage (*and to my libido) when our communication breaks down. Sorry, but I'm not holding anything hostage. Im also not going to have sex if I am not turned on. What's horrifying is expecting a woman to have sex with you no matter what because men have "needs". Fuck that shit.

When my husband doesn't open up to me, it creates a bad environment for our relationship. I need that from him. If anything, we get more sexual when we are being emotionally open with each other. I tend to not want to be around him, let alone get aroused, if he is not being forthcoming with his emotions. It brings our relationship to a halt.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/19 11:42 PM
1

Wouldn't that argument work both ways? You'd have to be an idiot to think I was saying any woman can lift any man, especially since I literally left room in my argument for exceptions. You're the only one using absolutes in your language and then expecting the other person to "know what you meant," but sure, I'm the retard.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 08:32 PM
1

First, fuck your "sweaty" bullshit. Also, I'll refer back to my #2 a couple comments back, which you are purposely ignoring. Finally, here's how I see our coversation... You: women cant do that! Me: maybe not all, but some can You: nuh uh Me: yes You: no they cant...see here are sources saying less women can do it compared to men. Me: .... So, I'm just going to take this as an agreement and say have a nice day.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 07:41 PM

You dont have to talk to someone to expect something from them. And, I would argue that the lack of discourse exacerbates the expectation issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 07:33 PM

Your flair is appropriate. I am not going to debate if you completely discount reality and choose to just make shit up to validate your claims. Women have and will continue to carry men using a firemen carry, no matter if you believe it to be possible or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 07:11 PM
1

measures for carrying off wounded in a battlefield is not a deadlift - it is a fireman carry - so you're starting off with comparing the wrong function. Do you have a problem with women being firefighters too? you are using averages in the general public/population versus trained military professionals
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 07:01 PM

Objectively incorrect. Maybe the smallest woman will never be able to carry the largest man, but there is a whole lot of "in between".
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 06:56 PM

Never argued that they were...I subscribe to the idea that no sex is better than the other - just suited to different things. But, there was an argument being made that women can take on the primary male role while men can't take on the maternal because biology. However, your answer shows the original argument is not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 06:54 PM

I see it more as expecting women to accept it based on men's own perceptions, discounting that the experience and perceptions of men and women are different
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/19 06:45 PM

To me it feels like the "I removed myself" and "didn't do a lot of explaining" here was the part that created the issue. You have to talk about WHY you don't feel like it. I think that if his only goal is regular sex, it is a pretty shitty reason to lead a woman on in a relationships. If he is genuine and wants to be in a relationship, with regular sex being part of the upside, then so be it. Why would I care if he wasn't able to get laid regularly? I'm more worried about intentions and honesty.

It depends on how important sex is to you, and no, I don;t think just anyone can learn how to be good in bed. You might be able to work incredibly hard at it, communicate well about it, and come out the other side with a satisfying bedroom...but you also might not. I didn't want to take the chance on possibly getting (or not getting) good at sex with someone when I can already be good at sex with someone. I had sex very quickly with men. Good sexual chemistry was super important to me, and I didn't want to get stuck in something for months if the sex wasn't going to be good. If it wasn't good, we didn't continue. It worked out well for me and my husband...We did sleep together on the first date, though we also did know each other as distant acquaintances (hardly interacted but knew who the other was) for a couple months before that.

You want to try new links since you claim it's so prevalent? Edit: And on second read, it seems you're moving the goalposts now. Before it was women who 1. Don't enjoy sex, and 2. Take pleasure in withholding. Now it's just "taking pleasure in withholding "
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/18 09:08 PM

None of these addresses the straw(wo)man you mentioned. Women who don't enjoy sex aren't running around maniacally giggling and not caring how it affects their partner. If anything they are trying to address/correct the issue some how.

I love that you condemned the 1st source, and then used it to quote stats on women. That's why I quoted the conservative estimate as well. Multiple sources get you closer to the truth. I got my 50% stat from a men's health journal (linked somewhere else here). I think the real issue here is that you are conflating balding (the topic) with MPB...a specific type of balding. women in my experience These are two different things. Your stereotyping based on the cultural bubble you live in is not indicative of all women. That's all I'm trying to get you to acknowledge, yet you keep generalizing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/18 04:11 AM

So your anecdote is enough to generalize to an entire sex? Many women, including myself, have fought their entire lives against the "seen and not heard" trope. We're expected and trained to be decorative... not that we want it or don't try hard enough to break the expectation.

You should educate yourself on BDSM. The entire premise is based on communication and explicit consent. Hard and soft limits are always worked out prior to an encounter and crossing hard limits is considered abuse.

Why do most of your options have to do with asking someone else to fix the problem? Why isn't the onus on the woman to be self-sufficient? I'm all for getting a helping hand if it's there, but I don't think that that should be the first option or the first thought in someone's mind when trying to get back on their feet.

My question was more rhetorical. But because you seem to not understand, not everyone's family is close or has the opportunity to just lean on them for support. To have that mindset instead of putting yourself in a position to be able to provide for yourself is irrational.

So, the answer to OPs question (which took forever to get to) is NO. You have more sex but don't give more orgasms. And if you do care about giving orgasms, it is only because she is hot. Did I sum that up about right?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/16 10:15 PM

But that's the thing... what I described isn't "results" of your game, personality or sexual competency. You are able to get with her in spite of those things. It is a characteristic of the type of woman. Just saying they come back isn't proof that you're doing something right in bed. It could be indicative of the type of woman you choose to take to bed. Is it just about "results" (getting your dick wet) and doesn't matter why, or do you really try and succeed at pleasing your partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/16 07:23 PM

As a person who got caught in an abusive cycle of hookups, just because we come back doesn't mean it was good. Lack of confidence and increased familiarity (sometimes) are two reasons I can name off the top of my head. Sometimes it is easier to go back to something you know when it is not great, instead of having to try something new and scary even though it might be better.

You say I am play an exception but I am using anecdotal evidence...the crux of TRP theory. So, how do we know what anecdote is the actual trend? Rhetorical questions aside... But there is a strong correlation among preferences, attitudes and gender And this is where I say it is not nearly that easy to make the claim you do. Correlation=/= causation. Ah, so it is the reasoning behind the choice. This is where my problem comes from, so I am glad the discussion led us here. How do RPers know WHY a woman makes a decision? Any discussion I have seen from RP goes straight to the emotional argument and doesn't stop to think that maybe, just maybe, the woman actually thought about the decision and used logic to make a choice. Not to mention, when a woman does try to explain the rationality behind a choice, RP is quick to remind us that we don't kno…

so, they are or aren't a slave to their emotions? You have trouble giving a straight answer. Based on what you typed, is your answer "sometimes?" No, I just wanted a straight answer. Now that you have said it, how does this assumption align with women being a 'slave to their emotions' or like statements coming from RP theory? Is the "genetic limitation" to a women's rationality is so restrictive that that the emotions are always dominant?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/16 03:35 PM

so many words, and yet still no answer to the question... actually, you almost got there with this: You can train yourself to...even condition yourself to respond differently to certain stimuli where you normally would have reacted emotionally. But you have certain inborn limits. So are you saying "Yes"? Yes, women can learn how to control their emotions and not let it affect their decision making ability?

This seems like a cop out answer. Sounds intelligent enough but says absolutely nothing. What are those genetic limitations you are thinking of? And to what degree does that limit women changing in terms of the OP? From the viewpoint of a woman, as I am, there is a difference. The problem here is that you think intention is the only thing that matters in determining morality. In my view, processes taken into account. Btw, i'm not the OP of the first comment.

No argument at all :) You are correct, but the issue lies in the fact that just because an argument is in a logical form (valid) doesn't mean that the conclusion is correct or even carrying a bit of truth (sound). That is one of the reasons blue pillers have such an issue with AWALT. Just because a small sample of evidence (red pill experience with women) is valid anecdotal evidence, does not mean that the large conclusion of AWALT is sound.
