It depends on how you feel. honestly he is an ex for a reason and id suggest not giving him a chance for a relationship. I had this happen to me once with an ex who got pissed at me because i didn't believe in ghosts. I was an adult about it, told him if he provided me with proof id read it but he just said i wouldnt read it anyway, told me to provide my proof, i gave a scientific explaination, along with references about how the brain works that supports why i think this, and he just told me th…

If you havent been together a long time, and i mean a LONG time, then this isnt your battle, its his. he is disrespecting you, you arent just a body, you are much more than that. if all he talks with you about is sex, you should move on.

My boyfriend is the same. when we first started dating it was constant compliments. now he doesnt really. weve discussed it, and he feels like saying it all the time makes it less serious when he does say it, and that if his feelings havent changed about me he doesnt see the point in saying anything. although if you brought it up and he didnt really give a reason or try to come to a compromise than you might want to have a more serious conversation about it

You are NOT a failure. I myself am in therapy and it looks like I might need to be put on depression medication. I myself was severely abused as a child by my father, and on top of that mood disorders run in my family. As someone who knows how lows and highs feel and being worried about annoying people with them, if you need medication to help do not be ashamed. I'm starting to get better without the meds some, having just left the abusive househould the beginning of this year, but somethings I …

As someone currently not engaged or married, Id say that really depends on the couple. My boyfriend and I live together with his mom, been together 7 months, and are nowhere near ready. I'm 21, he's 23, but I just left an abusive home this past year and thats why I live here with him. Before that ever happened we'd have to get our own place, i'd want to finish college and start my career (at least another 2-3 years). We don't want to even think about it until were stable ourselves, but we both h…

Obviously the problem was him and not you. It sounds like you know what you wanted and he was, as you said, leading you on. Some people just don't want a long term stable relationship, I've run into that problem before. I myself don't bother with dating if I don't see a future, which is the reason i turned down a nice guy, beliefs were to different from mine (his family was VERY religious, im atheist, we'd dated before and it didnt work out but he wanted a second chance). I was as straightforwar…

You should be proud. though i would never slut shame, theres something about not being super promiscuous thats great, when its so common to be promiscuous. Don't be ashamed, just think of it this way. When/if you decide on someone you want to stay with forever, they'll know it takes more than one date to get you into bed. Its a comfort knowing that if it takes that much work for you it would for others as well.

with him addressing the issue, it really depends. A lot of the time we don't actually do anything until we're in bed after watching tv... so usually it ends up being 1 am. Whenever it isn't super late yes he does, but basically trying to find a way for 1) to get that stimulation in a quicker manner with a toy for when it is late and 2) for when he just isnt in the mood but i am

Do not lie. it is not a good start to the relationship. Be honest about it. You make things a bigger deal that it is by lying about them. Guys and girls sleep with lots of people. The important thing is you've done some growing/maturing, and you don't want that anymore. If he's the right guy for you he won't be so bothered by the past that he'll leave, but if I found out my significant other way lying about who they've slept with, or anything big like that, I'd be so mad it probably would end th…

A lot of guys do just want sex, a lot of women too. You have to use conversation to weed them out. Desperate? Not really. I came from a REALLY small town where my house was two streets from canada, I knew everyone around and none of them were compatible (12 people in my graduating high school class). I met my current boyfriend on a dating app, because it can be a great way to find someone compatible. We're about 7-8 months into our relationship. It's the longest relationship I've ever been in. S…

If he was going to leave his wife "when the kid is older" his wife would already know. It's an excuse to keep you waiting for him when he feels like having sex with someone other than his wife. Something like this happened with my grandmother, and he did leave his wife for her, but cheated on her and left her for someone younger. I'll quote her on this "If he'll cheat with you he'll cheat on you"

not really. i mean he can always say no. you're not forcing him to do anything other than choose what hed prefer, a night with you or the computer

I mean, we've had conversations about me being worried about him not being attracted to me, but not about the twitter stuff. I expressed that i feel he wants sex because he wants sex and doesnt want me.... he spent time talking to me about it and saying that he loves everything about me and that im one of his two prefered body types (the other being amazonian women type build). that he loves my body, and my personality. We talked about him not reacting to the outfits, but not the 2d girls issue,…

you've been with him so long that i think sex is fine to have, but you have to make it clear that you want that kind of relationship in the future, if he doesnt seem invested for the long haul he isnt the one.

talk to him about it. and honestly id make sure to even state something like "We can even wash/scrub our faces beforehand and after"

I totally get how you're feeling. My boyfriend is a major gamer and will literally go days without really showing any affection... although he usually does realize it and then go all out trying to pamper me with attention... and without that I wouldn't know what to do. My advice (and this is literally what I did to make him snap into those "hey we havent been affectionate in a bit" slumps) is to simply stop asking. give him his space, go out of your way to leave him be but also showing him tha…

Leave. You are worth more then hanging on to a dude who's said he doesn't want to be with you.

there are many dresses that would help. Or if you find something cute that shows cleavage try putting on a slip under it, or a tank top.

This is major red flags. you shouldn't have to deal with this behavior. It is childish and mean to you. Please discuss with him how this made you feel, and make it clear that even if he gets impatient with other things and reacts like that, that he should have more respect for you that to do the same to you.

honestly it doesnt matter if it was a joke, its disrespectful to you. Its not hard to make controversial content without joking about taking a girl into a room to bang. you havent put a label on it, and honestly like u/AvalonPlum said that talking about taking a step back and such seems like a "break up" but that he still wants you around in case he can get you to sleep with him more. Honestly, I don't think he's worth your time and you should find a man who gives you the love and respect you de…

This IS cheating. He's been CHEATING with random strangers on the internet. Watching a video is different than interacting with someone else, jerking off and watching them do so. It's no different than if he met up with a girl irl to watch each other jerk off. you are NOT overreacting. You need to have a long discussion, and if his reaction isn't right you need to dump him. He does not respect you or your relationship. Personally I'd of dumped him the second I saw the app. Have you ever seen the…

I've pretty much had only LDR from the internet so here's a few I can say I found: if he's super affectionate when you're alone but super distant when you're in public RED FLAG if he doesn't talk about how he feels about stuff, then gets mad at you for it when you werent told it was an issue RED FLAG If he legit just seems like Mr. Perfect, can't find anything wrong with him RED FLAG (most likely means he's hiding something) If he keeps going on his phone, and seems to be purposefully hiding the…

You have to talk to them about what you're feeling. I have similar issues honestly and occasionally have to talk with my bf about it, if I don't I just keep circling the thoughts in my head and feeling worse and worse. So when you feel that way in a relationship, express your concern and feelings, and why. If they're worth it they'll show you just why you don't have to with their answer. And also do consider talking to a professional if you aren't, I myself am trying (and failing due to quaranti…

He sounds very sweet and like he really is just trying to think about how it might affect you, but I'd make sure he knows that you have no problem with the term wife. Honestly society is making it so such terms are being seen as sexist when they aren't at all. You are husband and wife, marriage has the phrases husband and wife. It's just like no one should be offended by being called a husband. Lesbians can say this is my wife, gay men can say this is my husband, and anyone can say partner. Its …

I wear makeup to bring out features in myself that I believe make me pretty. I use it to accent, not cover up. I love my eyes and hair, and am pretty self conscious about my looks otherwise. Because of this I use eyeliner and mascara, and do my hair in lots of different ways. Makeup doesn't make you beautiful, it helps draw attention to your beauty.

There are plenty of makeup tutorials on the internet, youtube etc. Just dont't go to heavy on it. I don't like foundation either, clogs pours and feels weird to me. Typically I'd say that, if your'e new to it, start with simple mascara and eyeliner, maybe some lip gloss. Also, sticking to natural colors helps you get used to it. For years the only eyeshadow i would do were tan colors, but now i can blend it well enough to use other colors. It takes practice. I cannot stress this enough, be very …

im unsure, he told me that hes pretty much always horny, but i haven't seen him on porn or porn related stuff at all... I know he follows lingerie models on twitter... but apparently says that lingerie doesn't add anything with me. After a couple days he realized i was pulling off and we talked, and he says its just because i "can't get better"

1) focus on career first, it will help make sure life is comfy later and that IF something fell through with the relationship you're still able to support yourself. Date while you do, but don't put it before yourself. 2) I've done a majority of my dating through online venues, DO NOT stick with one hopeful guy because you may get sucked into a relationship with a guy that seems nice but ends up being anything but (I did that myself, ended up with -someone who had severe emotional and attachment …

If you have straight hair get a curling iron if you have curly hair get a straightener. I'm not saying to completely change whether your hair is straight or curly, but being able to change your hair up in different styles adds to the "dolling up" aspect. Like I have curly brown locks, and every once in a while i straighten it just to go with an outfit. I'll do my hair in different braids, some found online some self experimentation with my hair. I've even made a bow of my braids before. Just t…

He's told me he's done it before with ex's and liked it is the point... I've specifically told him not to wake me because I have issues sleeping as is so I totally get being irritated by it. But for something he's told me to do being so bad everytime its tried just is... difficult

The old think before you speak. Start by consciously trying to use less harsh swears, freak instead of fuck, heck instead of hell, dang instead of damn. They gradually work those out. And I get that you feel this way, but I thought I'd point out that research has shown that people who curse a lot are more honest, which is a great thing to be!
