There are no guarantees. I wouldn't give up a sure thing with my kid who is otherwise ok by bringing court, chaos and people who REALLY don't want them around, either.

Well, that would suck but that's the way it works. It would be the same for a Republican if there was no R to vote for. There would be no discrimination or denial of rights in either case. With that being said, being systematically denied a suitable candidate is a different story all together.

I'm not sure why you should have a say in electing a person who doesn't represent you. I'm a Democrat who lives in Oklahoma. I don't get to vote for candidates in Republican Primaries. Why would I? Its most likely that those individuals will have little to nothing in common with me and really won't represent my views at all. Likewise, I can't drive across the city where I live and vote for a candidate for city council in a district that I don't reside in. They aren't my representative. While I e…
