Working remotely in female dominated accounting firm and it's messed up the amount of shitty, chatty, unprofessional behavior I've seen from management and partners, all the women except one. At staff and senior level you get the work higher ups give you and if one of the women in the group doesn't like you, apparently your workload shuts down. No performance recommendations or feedback of any kind, just off from the women. Luckily there's still a couple partners that are males that hook it up.

Years ago I thought religion was the driver of so much of the self-righteous attitudes I saw. The younger generation around me has completely changed that.

I think I'm with you on this but I think it's because rape is so broadly used. For example, in highschool I had a couple girls express interest by grabbing me. They were drinking, I was drinking, they were pushing those boundaries fearlessly, in a way I never could, and I don't consider it rape but I was very worried someone might think I was taking advantage of them. Now, was I raped? Some people would say so and if I was a woman, definitely.
