Feminists have a conniption because someone publicized the "he said" side of a major "he said-she said" rape claimAgreed, but I am much more concerned about the 1 in 5000-7000 suicide rate for teenage boys (it is approx 1 in 30000 for girls). I have a daughter and a son and I am much less concerned about the world my daughter will be in as she gets older than I am my son. Getting raped is bad, being in a world where nobody will listen to you or make you feel like there is no way out is so much worse. Plus, there are so many people already concerned about rape that I feel it is well in hand as far as awarene… | /r/MensRights | 05/02/15 11:23 PM
This was sent out to all the students on my campus. I want to say something to the director...You missed the fact that I need to say m'lady to every woman I pass on my way out. If you are going to insult people at least try to do it right. | /r/MensRights | 05/02/15 06:09 AM
This was sent out to all the students on my campus. I want to say something to the director...This would be my response as well. Have well documented sources and knock down all of their arguments with solid facts. Don't get angry or frustrated...be calm cold and logical. Also ask why there is no resource center for men and research Title IX to bring it up. | /r/MensRights | 04/02/15 11:28 PM
Hello. I am a woman, mother of 3 and cardiologist who works with the American Heart Association. I need to share a little information about feminism and medical politics in the United States. Don't just make claims without any proof and then act like you just won a debate. You very well could be right, but you need to support your arguments. Your opinion of what happened != absolute truth. There is this handy little tool called "Google" where you can search for almost anything in order to provide a backing for your argument. | /r/MensRights | 08/02/14 08:49 PM
"Circumcision of Male Infants as a Human Rights Violation." - published in Journal of Medical EthicsNot sure why you are getting downvoted into oblivion for asking a question. People see it as genital mutilation without consent and therefore are against it. I dont have a strong opinion either way on the issue but there have been studies done which show a correlation between circumcision and lower std transmission rates. On the other hand the procedure can be dangerous or even rarely fatal. But have an upvote for getting in the conversation. Apparently not knowing what the hive mind thinks arou… | /r/MensRights | 26/05/13 04:43 PM
| -1 | "Circumcision of Male Infants as a Human Rights Violation." - published in Journal of Medical Ethicshttp://health.usnews.com/health-news/family-health/womens-health/articles/2009/03/25/circumcision-guards-against-stds The science isnt exactly solid but there is definitely a correlation with std rates going down and circumcision. Not saying it is right by any means, just offering some different points of view. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/13 04:36 PM |
