Which is always good advice. BUT some actions dont deserve respect. And excusing him ("idk if u know,im sure u haven't realized, but this pandemic ia serious") doesnt help either. What this man needs is plain blunt talk and ultimatums regarding this behavior. You can still speak respectfully (which means, imo,not cursing, calling names, etc but still being very firm and letting him know his shit is being called). So the way i would personally approach it is to calmy say "DH, we need to have a se…

Oh, thats sad. Well imo, it is, since OP had no choice. And imo thats all the more reason for her to say f this and walk. BUT i get other cultures are different than America. and that may not be viable. Also i know that DV and the like are more acceptable in SOME cultures. So that may have been the reason the other commenters urged respectful communication even given her husbands douchebag behavior, so if so that makes sense. In that light, Id advise the same; we dont want OP to put herself in d…

Yep. I agree with wanting to be feminine and that certain traditional gender roles make sense, which is why i came here- but i DO NOT agree with the idea that men are infallible leaders that we need to guide us through life, which is the attitude i see here at times. Yes respect for your spouse- whether its a hetero or homosexual couple, and whether you're the/a man or woman therin- is WONDERFUL. But respect at the cost of your own or your kids' well being/safety to avoid fracturing a male ego, …

Ok,but what if after a "serious convo" (and i refuse to believe OP hasn't SERIOUSLY brought this up in other than a "lighthearted" manner b4), he STILL CONTINUES TO RISK HIS OWN CHILDRENS' LIVES for his CONVENIENCE?? THEN should she do whats best for her and the kids?? Vetting isn't foolproof. What if OP wasnt in a great headspace when she 'vetted' OP and took someone who she could 'get' but thought he was WONDERFUL at the time? (No shade, OP; just a hypothetical). Or what about the fact that pe…

|Women BEGIN as a YES...and you have to mess that YES up with your personality and behavior being so oft-putting that guys will bail because the juice isn't worth the squeeze Translation: Every woman BEGINS as a possibility for him to get some, but if you have any sort of standard for his behavior or compatibility with regards to you, you will have "messed that YES up" because he will be too lazy/unwilling to meet them, and thus will label you "crazy", "controlling", "too demanding", and "not wo…

I have molded many habits by keeping a flesh colored rubber band (like an office supply one, not a hair elastic) on my left wrist. When i catch myself doing the undesirable thing,i snap it hard. It hurts obviously but not too much, and the pain helps train your brain by giving negative a association (physical pain) to the nad habit. Takes about 3 weeks to begin seeing a difference, ime.

Oh good lord,PLENTY of women over 30 get hit on everyday and get into relationships and married. This redpill wall b.s. is just that. Well unless you weren't pretty to start with i guess.

I am as "blue" as you can be I guess, but I like rough sex. I won't flip on someone who doesn't like it tho. As long as they don't push it onto others, people are welcome to have whatever kinks they like

/They should be all for equality or all for tradition. Um and why is that? I like some aspects of traditional gender roles and feel they make sense (like women doing more hands-on nurturing childcare if the guy isn't into it, because men don't usually relate that way; or men choosing more "manly"chores like mowing the lawn or changing can oil as homemaking isn't their forte usually). But I'll be damnded if I raise a man baby, live with a man who doesn't equally parent and clean (as in, physical …

Well no, i specifically said i was attracted to Danny (the red head) immediately on our first meeting. My actual thoughts were " Aw he's really cute." Truthfully i was MORE attracted to Andrew (Chad) upon 1st meeting. But my point here is so many guys act like attractive girls are never attracted to average dudes JUST based on looks, and also that more intangible (?) traits dont matter to us. And my position is, we are OFTEN attracted to average guys on a looks-only basis, and that intangible tr…

I disagree. For me, i did go thru a phase in HIGH SCHOOL where i wanted the hot guy everyone wanted, and i dated him for 5 years while fucking around at will (both of us did,HS ego thing i guess). And he didnt get less hot. But i realized he was tue grossest (burping, farting,"boy" humor), most inconsiderate, pathologically lying, selfish, humorless excuse for a human i have ever met, and even tho he had the body and face of an Abercrombie model, all sexual attraction dried up and i left him for h…

Ugh men-or women- with huge shredded muscles are hideous and look like some sort of unnatural beasts. Of course its hot if any person is FIT, but being "shredded"? Gross. Plus, many of those people have no personality besides "gymrat" which is a huge turnoff. Fitness, as with all things, is best in moderation and balanced with interesting hobbies,a sense of humor, maturity, kindness etc

Because in almost every case like this, yall didnt become friends naturally and then both have feelings develop. You fucking pretended to be her friend so you could try and get some. Thats why we get pissed. If you had been a great platonic friend for years before asking her out, or even months (but more than just like a few weeks, basically) and then after she said no, you accept it and continue the friendship as an affectionate (not physically affectionate just the affection you'd have for any…

I got banned from there for posting a reply to Gender Critical about how i think trans people should be allowed to do what they want to their bodies, sure; but that we should def try other things to treat their issues first because its a LITERAL MENTAL ILLNESS. like, better therapy mainly. And that we shldnt push/circlejerk kids into thinking its "cool"/trendy/etc. Etc etc. Fully acknowledging some people have legit issues where sex changes may be indicated as the best treatment, that trans peopl…

Uh maybe its the attitude? A grudge from teens to middle age is very bitter and speaks of little to no personal growth. Have you addressed the issue of social skills/personality? How do u interact with women and men? You should be confident, not arrogant; kind but not subservient; outgoing but not clingy. Also are you sure women didnt like u when you were young,or were u just an awkward teen who couldn't tell they did? Why do YOU think they didnt? Some people just arent "smooth" at opposite-sex …

Has anyone ever told you that condescension ia VERY unattractive? And that you sound like a real douche when you speak like that? If we break it down, we are ALL simple creatures driven by biology. But also, we are all very complicated and driven mentally as well. You arent superior due to owning a penis 🙄 This is exactly what women dont want. (The attitude. The "doing what makes you happy" is good advice.)

What we want is,a man who works out moderately to be healthy and in decent shape (dad bod fine, diabetes due to personal negelct, no), with good hygiene who dresses decently (not a GQ model, just nicely);a man who is in a career that fulfills him and wherein he makes a decent living (i.e. enough to responsibly support him, not asking to be supported myself); a man who has interests, hobbies, activities, etc beyond "picking up women"; a man who is kind, caring, likeable, decent sense of humor, etc.…

Yes we do want men to do more housework, because we arent your fucking parents. You live in a place, YOU FUCKING MAINTAIN IT!! Also, we dont "respond by having LESS sex with them" for doing housework. WE DONT FUCKING CORRELATE THE TWO, BECAUSE YOU ARENT OWED SEX AS A REWARD FOR BEING A FUNCTIONAL ADULT, OR FOR ANYTHING ELSE. I have a question for you, and OP, and would also be interested in answers from any other guys commenting on either side of this issue (i.e.- should you spend alot/decent amount on dates or not? Why or why not?), just for my own curiosity mainly but i am thinking of writing a paper on this topic (or sub-topic) for my sociology class. She never said ANYTHING like women shouldn't communicate needs/wants, or work to be attractive,or have a sexual imagination, or that she needs a man to manage her schedule, etc. Because this addresses the NORM of MEN. Not that some women arent TERRIBLE, needy, ugly, unimaginative, etc. But for the most part, its a GIVEN that we TRY to wear makeup, dress nicely, act nicely, manage 99%of our lives and men's,etc. I hate this "us vs. them" shit though. "I'm sure women don't want to marry some guy who has been banging nightclub girls for the last 5 years, but has suddenly decided he wants to "settle down" and find a simple woman to bear his kids and clean the house. So guys are not enthusiastic about getting used goods, or being "plan B". " But.... men have ALWAYS done this???? And its a problem now only because women are too, apprently. How about, we ALL- male AND female- have the sexual experiences we want, and then settle down when we are re…

But im going to leave my original comment below in case anyone else interprets this as I perceived it. So, just for myself, music isn't about the lyrics. Its about the beat. I mean, women ofc. But THOSE women are whores and arent worthy of snagging these amazing specimens of manhood to be their 'captains', bossing them and controlling their every move for all of eternity. THAT distinct and dubious fucking honor is reserved for those poor women who are downtrodden/brainwashed enough to accept that they NEED a fucking 'captian' to lead them thru life. All the fucking eyerolls.

False, men NEVER get better. Just more goddamn annoying year after year. 🙄. If it wasnt for women handling absolutely EVERYTHING that men CHOOSE not to(like cooking, cleaning ,childcare ,elderly care, motivating lazy ass men, nurturing relationships with his friends and fam for him, encouraging him, giving affection and sex, etc) then almost no historically "great" men would have accomplished shit. However women never get this reciprocated, never get appreciated or get a break, throughout histor…

I have only ever dated frat boy types. And in my experience, they are some of the nicest and most well mannered guys ever. Sure you get the occasional asswipe. But usually that behavior is actually discouraged. They dress well, they act confident and well adjusted. And not all of them are hot af. They just maximize what they have, lol.

You're pretty well right, and i get what you're saying about preferring to be with your wife during "peak" years. But i think some guys who may be "unattractive" despair of getting with someone "attractive" at any point; or maybe even with anyone, ever. So my comments/replies to someone else above sort of break down how i think about that. But yeah, i think AF/BB is just biology; so i recommend "looksmaxxing" or whatever RP calls it, if u want the best chance of getting an attractive wife during…

Should have clarified more, i meant basically that yes, i have now settled down pretty well according to this formula the RP uses, but it isn't JUST his security that keeps me around. I was drawn to him when i matured past my "fucking around" stage because i was READY for commitment, and he was sweet, strong, and secure. But unattractive. However, his other attributes eventually made me see him as very physically attractive and we have a great relationship. So "typical"guys shouldn't despair;i t…

Sorry it took me a few days, school is kicking my ass lately (summer terms blow!). But yeah, i actually do! Im turned on by him because his personality was what first caught my attention, but as time went on id notice how he looked working hard outside (sweaty, strong, competent) or how sexy it was when he played with his nieces and nephews even tho hes this big strong guy (i mean comparatively my bf isnt huge; but its cool to see a grown man act sweet, playful, and supportive to kids/family) so …

She didnt get 4 yrs. She got 22 yrs and then the sentance was lowered BY 4 yrs. Not TO 4 yrs . So that means she got 18 years. Then her sons fought for retrial. That trial's outcome was to sqaush the murder conviction. THEN, if o understand correctly, the court said "No wait retrial again! Psych!" (May be wrong abt that last sentence tho)

Thank u for the thoughtful and nice reply! I agree with your take on it. I initially looked thru the sub and liked what i saw mostly, but other people have talked negatively about RP in other places, making out like RP means a woman is her mans slave, so i was worried about adopting the philosophy without understanding it all and gettinf some POV frm people living it.
