"And yet ironically enough... that's exactly what you are." I'd wager a guess that people who've known me in person for decades PROBABLY have a lot more experience/depth/authority to know me than some random anonymous "thrownaway" account on Reddit. But nice try though!...

"Riiight. Because words are ever so useful when you destroy their meaning." It's not me who's doing that. You're the one trying to twist the definition of "capable". "SJW much?" That's just downright 10,000% fucking hilarious. Anyone who knows me in person would tell you I'm the absolute FURTHEST THING from being an "SJW". "Ah yes, a perfect example: you are either stretching the meaning of "no legs", or you are entirely gutting the definition of "running"." Are you smoking crack?.... I mean ser…

We're pretty much the opposite actually. I admin it, and everybody gets a fair hearing. How does that jive with the FAQ that says: "This is not really a place to hear "both sides" of the issue." I mean.. if the FAQ overtly shuts down the option for 2-sided discussion... how constructive of a conversation(s) can you reasonably have?... And if you are having them.. can you cite examples ?...

I guess I just don't see any productive point in the aggressive/incendiary wording. What does that accomplish?... If the entire point of MGTOW is men "doing their own thing"... doesn't that pretty much necessitate ignoring what other people think ?... (IE = Whatever time/effort you spend insulting other people.. is wasted time/effort that you could have put into "going your own way". ) Or put another way:.. If OP simply wanted to be funny... couldn't he/she have found a way to be funny WITHOUT i…

I poked around there a bit.. and read all the things I could read (being un-registered)... and I think I'll politely pass. I don't think anything productive would come from me joining -- since I tend to challenge people to be open-minded, consider multiple viewpoints and expand their experiences/interpretations of things. (which that forum outright states they don't want). Feels like a negative "echo-chamber" to me. Not worth my time.

I'm not jealous. I just don't think it's necessary to post the way OP did with such antagonistic/insulting/derogatory commentary. It's completely unnecessary. If OP's title was:... "Decided to GMOW.. and saved up for 1year to buy this sweet motorcycle!"... then I would have just upvoted it and moved on.

This is not meant to be rubbing anything in peoples faces. So.. you can.. with 100% sincerity and honesty... say that the Title you wrote.. was absolutely in no way whatsoever meant to "rub it in anyone's face"... ?... REALLY ?.. Now you're just being willfully deceptive. "This is mgtow having a chit chat about bikes." Then why not clearly articulate that in the Title.. and leave out all the antagonistic/derogatory insults ?... "I am sorry if that offends you" It doesn't offend me... but I do th…

You probably believe people with no legs are "incapable" of running marathons,.. yet that impossible thing happens with boring regularity. Everyone is "fundamentally incapable" of doing something... right up until the moment they do it. A person can be "fundamentally incapable" of swimming... right up until they try to learn and figure out how to swim. (at which point they become "fundamentally incapable" of NOT being able to swim. A person can be "fundamentally incapable" of riding a bike...right up until they start trying to learn and figure out how. I wish people could enjoy their things without feeling the need to offensively rub it into other people's faces. What's the point?... (You can't lift yourself up by pushing other people down.)

.. and I'm sure you have some proven scientific data to back up that claim ?.... ?.... ? Easily observable reality would seem to indicate otherwise. There is a % of people from all different walks of life (different races, different social backgrounds, different countries, different physical abilities,etc)... who "wake up" and decide to manifest their own self-actualization and individualism and exploratory-nature. Their ability to do so is not pre-determined. It's constantly changing due to the…

The reason it's rare .. is because most people don't even fucking try. If more people reached down deep into their guts.. and actually spent a serious amount of time exploring their own individuality and "explorer-nature"... they'd find it.

"but want good talking points and scientific studies to back up my opinions when in debate." I dont think you'll find any because MGTOW means a lot of different things to different people. For me personally,.. MGTOW simply means a man living his own life, in his own unique direction, for his own reasons. Being independent. Being an explorer. Ignoring societies framework & just "doing your own thing". For me personally,.. it has absolutely 1000% fuck-all nothing to do with women.

Oh.. I'm sure it happens... for example: If a woman gets hired into the same position as a man (but he's been there 2 years already).. she might get paid less. Not less because she's a woman, but less simply because she's new. Same positions in different departments/areas of the same company might pay different rates. (due to what a department/contractor can afford or due to stipulations on project scope) etc,etc... it's like the racial equality problem in that there are so many potential situat…

Actually.. I'm fairly staunchly against the idea of "seduction"... (it's not my style, I don't believe in it.. honestly, I think it's kinda counterproductive and bizarre) That's not really a problem though, as I said, I'm fairly comfortable being single. I think predominantly the problem for me is the area in which I live simply lacks a 30-something dating scene. If I lived in a more metropolitan city (Seattle, NYC,etc).. I don't think I'd have as many problems.
/r/seduction04/04/11 10:37 PM

The problem at my age (37) is not being accused of arrogance, it's that women don't think I'm real. (or they think there's no way a guy who's capable and honest and worth dating would still be single at 37 - and if he is, that must mean there's something wrong with him). I don't lose any sleep over it.. I'm pretty happy being single and quite capable of doing pretty much everything on my own. But the cynical attitudes and lack of options ("Oh, you already have 4 kids? - no thanks)... are startin…

"If you have an HB7 and an HB8 one of them is seen as 1 point more attractive" But where does that 1 point come from?... Maybe you say "eyes" and I say "ass" and guy over there says "personality" (and 4th guy thinks we're all insane and she's really a 4. What now?... "I don't see how it is complicated." It's complicated because everyone has different internal scales of attractiveness. That short brunette might be a 3 to you, but she's a 9 to other people. That tall, leggy blonde might be a 10 to…

This is probably the single most constructive and sensible comment I've ever seen in /r/seduction/. "ultimately more effective, just to unfuck your head." Amazing how profound and true that is.... and yet so difficult for most people to understand. (Reminds me of Leia's line in Star Wars Ep3: "The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.") All the structure and rules and strategies are counterproductive. The better approach is to be more abstract,…

Yes, it's true... human beings are neither 100% the same.. and we are also not 100% different. The conversation always seems to end with a disagreement regarding how much difference/sameness humans have. I prefer to approach relationships by celebrating peoples uniqueness, instead of trying to gain strategic advantage by exploiting similarities. I don't think that makes me "better" or "worse" than any one else.. and I don't begrudge /r/seduction/ aficionados for choosing whatever path they prefe…

For which community?.. Reddit?... or just /r/seduction/ ? (which has 20,000+ readers.. Do you expect them all to agree on standards of attraction? "So then why use the HB system at all?" Careful. ... You're asking questions that strike at the very heart of the shaky foundation of seduction. If you throw away the HB rating system, next you'd have to acknowledge that individual women are unique in their thoughts/reactions/interests.. and well.. we can't have that. It'd be heretical.

Hey..I encourage anyone to set big goals and high expectations for themselves... but you also have to intelligently temper those with the actual reality around you. For example:... if you live in Bum Fuck, Kansas (Pop: 200) .. and your expectation is going out saturday night and getting into a hot porn-star orgy... then I'm sorry, but the odds of that happening are pretty damn slim (to none). on the other hand.. if you live in Bum Fuck, Kansas. .and your goal is to work your ass off for the next…

Most of the statements you make in your description/question ----- seem to reflect a belief of polarity (that situations are black/white). It's not about "controlling my outcomes"... as it is making sure the things I experience have substance/weight. I want to feel like I worked hard and earned the end result. Having a vasectomy just so you can have carefree sex.. feels kinda cheap, like a shortcut. (atleast to me). I'm probably the target demographic you're looking for. I definitely don't want children.. and I also definitely don't ever want a vasectomy. There's a lot of person reasons for that.. some are probably reasonable, some are probably misinformed.. but there it is: 1.) You're free to have that opinion, but considering the only thing you know about me is Reddit comments (which is a very tiny fraction of my online activity)... "My point is, I left them better than I found them. I added value to their night." 2 observations I want to make here: 1.) That's great (for you).. but I'd wager large amounts of money that the vast majority of "seduction encounters" are not like that. If they were, women across America would not be so defensive, mistrustful or "bitchy". Here's the thing I don't get: If you'd drop all the pretentiousness and strategy.. and just treat people with love, respect, compassion and politeness... "women are complicit in their own seduction." No,. I'm not forgetting that.. but I'm also not dumb enough to assume some big generic rule applies to all women. I understand that women are individuals.. they each have different needs/preferences and thresholds. .and I'd never insult or disrespect any of them by trying the same smooth tactics as I might use on hundreds of other women. I also want to add: There's nothing terribly wrong with the scenario you describe, IF: The guy doing it is genuinely interested in the girl He's only doing it with her (in isolation) If on the other hand... he's pulling that same strategy on 5 or 10 different girls a week... "and we're not?" Some of you probably are.. but it's my perception (and from what I can tell, the general populations perception) that the vast majority of seduction/PUA types are creepy, weird, awkward and desperate, trying to manipulate girls to get into their pants. If that's not true... I don't understand why the seduction/PUA community would allow that misperception to continue, and not do something (on a wide scale) to fix it. "That's asking for a lot, isn't it?" I guess that's a question of expectations. It seems (at least to me) that we've somehow landed in a generation of males who have this expectation that they are somehow entitled to hot porn-star pussy 5 or 10 times a week. Frankly.. in my opinion.. that's a really unhealthy and unrealistic expectation. That's probably way to complex of a question (to many variables) to answer with a simple "yes" or "no". A lot is going to depend on : the girl (her personality, her intent, is she being overt/subtle, is she acting passively or actively, etc. ) the situation (office job environment? dance club? weekend hiking trails? Is it with a group or one-on-one? .. etc) The difference I see (generally speaking) is that makeup/clothes are a passive action. The choice is still up to you how to react or whether …

"Why waste time with all the clubbing bullshit and not just go to an escort then?" I've often wondered the exact same thing. Personally I think PUA tactics are a big bag of fail... (and I'll probably get downvoted for saying that)..., But setting all that aside.. it sounds like you're just trying to hard. You're so wound up and worried about technique and strategy that you're failing to just relax and feel out the situation. ("go with the flow"). I don't think it's so much that men are "angry" at women. I think it's that women are trying to use the leverage of gender-equality to have the "best of both worlds" (they want the advantages of gender-equality.. but they also want to retain benefits of things like chivalry, the "prince charming" fairy tale, men buying drinks for them, men making the first move,..etc) Expecting to get both of those things is 1.) It really hits theproverbial nail on the head... And describes my frustrations with dating almost to a perfect "T".

"I don't understand why you're being downvoted..." I appreciate that.. I don't understand it either.

Ah... the way the question was worded made it sound like: "Why don't the women who only make 77cents on the dollar start businesses (themselves)..." I don't think that 33% advantage would gain you as much as you think it would. Females have different costs associated than males (example: maternity leave, different medical costs, in some cases weaker so not able to produce as much daily work) If you hired all women.. and your business was targeted at a female-friendly sector.. and your business p…

"Why don't they start businesses which hire only women,.. and dominate the economy?" I'm not sure I follow the logic... how does making only 77cents on the dollar compared to men give them such an advantage that they could "dominate the economy" ??

I'd recommend going further and practicing different styles of artisan writing scripts (calligraphy, etc)... then when you need to write the note, if she's a hard rocker type of chick, write the note in a font that resembles heavy metal type concert posters. If she's a more upscale/cultured girl, write the note in especially flourished french style calligraphy. etc,etc... even if she doesnt call you, she'll have something unique that she might show off to friends.

You're response to Dantai doesn't really include any advice... What would YOU do if you found yourself living in Halifax ?... I mean, you said you'd be "Dead in the water".. and the reality is thats true for quite a few males across the nation (my local area is only 118,000 population, so its even worse)

I guess I'm just wondering,... from a seduction community point of view the "alpha male" is a desired position (most advantageous)... but this study is seeming to imply that there are situations (in countries with especially high standard of living) where high testosterone levels (alpha male) might actually be dis-advantageous. (that women in these countries are slightly less likely to put up with the downsides of high testosterone). So... in those countries there would be scenarios where NOT be…

""fuck the checkboxes" Exactly. In all the recent arguments I've gotten into (in the recent PUA threads) .... this was one of my points. Relax, be yourself, and just get to know people for who they are.. and not trying to classify them as "HB10's" or some other stupid rating system or list of checkboxes. Everyone has value, but if you start trying to put people in positions of "higher status" or "lower status",etc.. then you lose all the content/quality that makes human interact meaningful.

If you haven't yet.. do yourself a favor and read this Metafilter thread. If you're seeking information about the PUA/Seduction method, please get opinions in atleast 3 places. Reddit by itself is a very limited/biased membership.
