Be the better man. Improve yourself. If she’s more interested in someone else then accept that and move on. Use that for motivation, but be cautious. It’s not, “I’m going to improve myself to get her, or some other women”, but instead is, “maybe I can make myself more attractive (in line with what I really value and want) to have better chances with women.” Some women are just not going to be attracted to us regardless. Being vulnerable is attractive. At first it will be uncomfortable, but the more open you are about something the more you know that that is who you really are. This ^ I somewhat disagree with the part about porn, but know where you’re coming from. Porn is an okay thing of used for the right reasons. If it’s used to run away from something -especially if it’s shame about your sexuality- the it’s not helpful. I recommend No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover for this topic. An all around great book to get help you get the life you want.

I relate to you. What’s worked for me is building habits and routine. The important thing is to start small. Sometimes showing up is enough. Think of the life you want, and then think what habits that person would do to be that person. Be gentle and patient with yourself. This is a process. Here’s a link from an author I like that says what I did but better. https://markmanson.net/goals

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
