The classic is "Does this make me look fat?" The best case here is that it doesn't... and then the GF is just "demanding" compliments, which is a dangerous trend to start for several reasons. It's easier to eat less calories. Fats and proteins make you feel fuller, for longer. You can't drink excess calories. You have a harder time snaking randomly because food fills you up so much. You can also eat a bunch of great food, so it's easier to stick to.

I have found that the line "Give me a reason to ever use your business again" works really well.
