I've been accused of gaslighting my STBX when I was just trying to express my feelings about something. Being treated like your own thoughts on a topic don't matter is BS.

I'm in the same boat my dude. Mine had the papers sent via mail (supposedly) at the beginning of July...still nothing. She's told me she's not waiting for any particular reason to go pick them up which is weird. She initiated our divorce and I still don't want it but I'm resigned to what is true. I'm just ready for the thing to go one way or the other. If she's reconsidered and wants to try to mend it...great. If not, I'm as prepared as I can be mentally. I'm just ready to not be stuck in limbo.

Nah. I've been hit on by guys for years but it's not ever appealed to me. Women are my jam. Fine be me for anybody that goes that route, just not for me.

I wore mine through the initial separation. It came off when she said she wanted the divorce. She’s not been wearing hers since we separated though. I should have known then that it was over. In the end it’s up to you and when you feel like you can take it off and not feel so broken because of it. My ring line is beginning to fade after a few months of not wearing it. Still makes me sad though.

I needed to read this today. I’ve been having good days and bad days. Lately the sad days are coming more frequently because we’re going to be signing papers soon. I don’t want the divorce but we don’t get a choice no matter how much we may want to hold on and fix it. Just sucks.

She had so much baggage from her past that hadn't/hasn't been dealt with. The further toward the end of the divorce process I get, the more I think that plays the largest role in our divorce (she filed).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
