I feel you. Mine was addicted to airduster. Sent her to 2 rehabs b4 I gave up. Told me at MY therapy session that she cheated on me. Barged in and thought I'd be forgiving. Filed asap after that. 13 years best friends, 7 years married and 1 kid. I have custody and she is in rehab #4 or 5. Such a fucking mess.

I agree. My x uses air duster and I've had to get 2 tros on her and make her have paid supervision bc her parents are enablers. It sucks hard to do to someone u used to care for, but its imperative to keep your kids safe.

It's my kid who suffers. I get ultra stres0sed out bring a single dad in my late 40s. I have to take time for myself and that's super hard sometimes.

I would not give an inch. My x was my best friend for 13 years b4 we got married. 7 years in and a kid and she decides she wants to abuse air duster. She has accused me of all sorts of crazy things. I finally kicked her out. sent her through rehab. It didn't stick and one night after dropping him off at her house only to find her using, i tool my son, got a restraining order and got custody of my boy. She never used drugs or drank, but slept with some dude out of the rehab I sent her to. That wa…

Gym. Get ripped. The women eye me everything I go into the gym. I'm older and gay, so I don't care much. It helped me to carry myself with confidence.

I had what I thought was an easy divorce and amicable, but it turned insane the second her friends, my sisters in laws and her family started to give advise to her and it got nasty messy fast. I always cover my ass so I had hired a really good lawyer and ended up with 50/50 but with her continued use of air duster and getting dui's I was able to get the judge to give me 100% custody and she can rebuild her rights to 50% custody by not using or getting arrested, like that will happen. That's a bi…

The judge said that she couldn't order $0 child support, so she ordered $30 a month.

My wife got into air duster but I have the same outcome. I have primary custody and until she can stay clean she has 8 hrs supervised a week. I pay out 1300 in alimony and get $30 in child support a month. Still the best deal I could of hoped for. We are doing great. Her, not so much

Its so worth it. I married my best friend of 13 years. We were married for 7. I have a 7yo. I got out because the x was using air duster and i knew she could not control herself. So about 6 dui's later, i have sole physical custody of my boy and for the first time in my life I'm happyish. In going through therapy, i figured out that I'm gay. Seems insane but i somehow knew and didn't know at the same time. Im 47 and just really realized i was gay, im a single father, lost all friends because i w…

Lawer up. Best frieds for 30 years, married for 7 and the divorce has been brutal. Luckily i got custody and $30 a month child support. It s not quite what i was expecting, but the judge said she couldnt give a $0 award for child support, so i get $30 and pay out 1300$ for alimony. Get divorced and be happy finally. Just do it!

The kids know everything. Get a divorce and make everyone happier. Staying is not a favor to the kids and will just damage them more

Dude. Im 47 and my divorce has aged me. I have gotten very fit at the gym, but ive never been more sought after. Its crazy. Maybe its because i no longer care a single smidge what people think of me. This divorce showed me how little people care and think about you when there are problems. I no longer compromise and if i see any flags, it see ya. Life is overall pretty good. Hard but good.

Keep the kid time. You can always find another gf. There are a billion out there. Dont get caught up with one and fuck up your time with your kid. Kids need consistancy and once you start to ditch your kid for someone else you are sliding into being an asshole. But getting a sitter for after they go to bed. Ive done that. Kids don't even know you went out.

I was married for 7 years, SAHW, 7yo kid. She was huffing air duster and getting multiple dui's. Im paying alimony for 7 years and because she is not working the court couldnt give me 0$ in child support, so i get a whole $30 a month that she vemo's to me. I still send her 1300 in alimony, im a single dad, and she got to take half of everything. We didnt even fight about posessions. It was a super easy divorce as far as i can see, but it still was horrible and is horrible. Luckily i own a busine…

Ouch. I was paying $500 in child support, 1300 in alimony but when the court gave me full custody due to her drug use and dui's I'm getting $30 a month. Get this, because they can't award 0$ in child support. So I get 30$ each month venmoed to me, while I get to raise our boy and get the gift of still paying 1300$ in alimony.

Meet with several attorneys, pick the one you think will represent you best. Give them a retainer and start the divorce. It's hard to start, hard to do, but when it's over u will be much happier

I hired a trainer who helps keep me committed, plus physically, I've never looked and felt so good. At 46. It's amazing what 1hr 3-4x a week at the gym will do. It only sucks for a month or two. Then it's nice.

I'm on the other side. I did not like cuddling, touching and when I slept I slept right at the edge of the bed. My wife always wanted touch and I thought I didn't like touch. Sounds hard to believe but at 46 I finally figured out that i was gay. I really thought we had a good marriage but after her cheating and using drugs, I asked for a divorce. Once I started dating men, I realized that I just didn't like touching women. It's something I hid from myself really well, even though I have always n…
