6	Male privilege. Also interesting that, at any given time, there are about 400k people in the US paying alimony (not, child support, but straight alimony). Women at this point are 40% of the breadwinners in households (meaning 40% of the time, they make more than the man) so you would think that they'd be about 40% of the alimony payments. Actually it is extremely detrimental because it trains you to believe that yelling at each other is how two people in love are supposed to relate to one another. It's behavior that the child will tend to emulate both now and later in life. And, the earlier it's learned, the more ingrained it becomes. A child's psyche will also be traumatically harmed by constantly bearing witness to two angry parents fighting with each other. There's scientific evidence to support the fact that psychological abuse can be just as bad as physical abuse.
