Don't, it's a waste of time. If you were socially graceful enough to pull it off then you wouldn't be nervous. Focus on platonically meeting the girls around you (if you don't have girls in your life, make some deliberate changes), and hit on their friends ideally in a bar/party setting. Or just go after the first girl if she's interested, but don't go in with an agenda.

It's just more acceptable for them. I think a lot more men are bi than we would assume, but men don't really accept femininity or homosexuality from other guys in our culture probably because of our Christian-Jewish culture.
