Women do not experience rejection in romantic relationships and are the ones who reject/ lose interest (ick) women get dumped all the time. women get cheated on all the time. is this your first day on planet earth? and wouldn't lift a finger to keep a man. have you never heard of women going to jail to protect their criminal boyfriends? women killing other women over a man? women 'holding it down' by supporting their boyfriends through rape/abuse trials? women supporting their unemployed boyfrie…

thank you so much, and heavy on the second mother thing. it's funny how much more daddy issues/complexes are spoken about in popular culture when mommy issues im guys are just as common. and in both scenarios it's mostly the women who are blamed lol

oh to be this blissfully ignorant about the way men go on and on about themselves and don't ask any questions. it's an extremely common thing in dating, it's not just me. here is one of my favourite tiktoks about it. read through the thousands of comments from women talking about experiencing this.

yes, it has nothing to do with them. only me. i forgot what the guiding philosophy of the sub is, men's behaviour is always women's fault. women's standards are too high, they always exclude neurodivergent men, those bitches. but also, if you don't instantly assume a guy being awkward is a dealbreaker, you're at fault too. ppd is nothing if not predictable lol

i love how when women don't focus on men's mental health we are bitches who are single handedly responsible for the male suicide epidemic, but when we do we're pushovers 😅 anyway, as i said elsewhere in the thread i broke up with him pretty much right after she died and he started spouting this bs so yeah.

i didn't, i ended it. i was preoccupied with my sister falling ill at the start of the relationship so breaking up with him wasn't a priority, but i broke up with him soon after she died and he was still acting like this. after previous strings of 2/3 dates, ive also ended it on these same grounds, the guy only wanting to talk about himself and his problems, it's just frustrating how common it is.

thank you. it made it easy to end things at least, i usually am depressed for months after a breakup but since i was mourning i felt nothing when i ended it. so silver lining i guess 🙃

i broke up with the boyfriend ive referred to here when he wasn't there for me with my sister's death. i moved on, dated a guy who looked and acted the polar opposite of this ex in every way, except about two weeks in i noticed this guy also only liked to talk about himself and his life and his problems, and didn't ask me questions, and that it wasn't just the nerves of the first few dates. i haven't been accommodating of it.

what makes me depressed about reading here is this insistence that guys are so lonely and in search of real love, and just want a girlfriend who is feminine and pretty and dotes on them and enjoys sex, and i see it repeated here so so so often as if it's fact, but i see myself embodying these things and still don't get viewed in a 'girlfriend' light. men will sexualise me and romanticise me, but that's it. this idea that men are so romantic and hopeful for just a girl to love them feels like fic…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
