Why would you continue to pursue someone who's just indicated that they won't clear a night on their schedule for you? They're obviously not interested. Move on.

Start with a Friday night, and you can also ask about Saturday or Sunday night events. If all three are a no-go, then it's best to cut ties and move on.

On the other hand, there are potentials out there who consider an out of breath, are we there yet condition to be the epitome of the day. More so than an "But I am le tired" condition. It can behoove one to watch for these human-challenging moments as well. Embrace them, and push for them. As long as one doesn't end up hang gliding the Grand Canyon in a windsuit after dark...

No stumble-and-grab for stability? No I'm-out-can-I-share-your-camelbak-now-we've-kissed? Must. Be. More. Playful. It's a great big world out there.

What language was this? I've tried Google Translate, Free Translation, and Bing Translator, and they all come out as .... See what I mean?

Girls will talk with me when I'm randomly out, but I'm so focused on doing something else I'll just give your "canned" response and continue. Think about this for a second: this also happens to women. They are out doing whatever it is they wanted to accomplish, and someone tosses them a line with a hook on the end of it which doesn't register simply because they're not in a receptive mindset at that moment. Thus, they give a canned response and continue. Then later, ...

Statements like this are not about you, they're about the other person projecting an insecurity towards you. Whenever someone refers to this, I immediately retort with "Why don't you think you're beautiful?".

Definitely sounds by her actions like she's craving some companionship. But, why hasn't anybody caught on to the strange fact that her boyfriend died ~30 days ago, and she's now hanging out in a club that they used to frequent together 730 DAYS AGO?

That can backfire if her name is easily spelled... "What's your name?" "Deeahna" "How do you spell that, so I can put it into my phone and not end up calling you Ethel" "It's spelled 'Diana'. But I pronounce it Deeahna." Don't worry about backfiring. Just get it right the first time. :)

"I have you in my phone as 'callherbackrightaway', but we should probably make it more definite than last night. How do you spell your name?"

"...to my dismay, find two 6s operating the hostess stand. I thought these places were only supposed to hire babes…" I stopped reading after this line. Since when are 100% of the people hired by an establishment supposed to be stupendous to you? It's a mindset. You need to learn more.

"Come over to my place to watch a movie"...and bring your favorite cuddly blanket. I'll supply popcorn and drinks. If she shows up with a blanket in her arms, well...

Exactly this. People whom you've just met don't want to let you know where they live until you've known them for a while. Thus, your place must become the safe haven. Make sure it's well lit, has clean hair-free sheets, and is serviced by cabs after midnight.

There's a big difference between "Let's go back to my place" and "I'm not done with tonight yet. We should hang out for another hour..." Safe. Secure. Trustworthy. Be those things.

"Girl: You are a bold fellow." Are you just now figuring that out? Or did you want to wait until Thursday when we see each other again?

Upvote for clear and present honesty. but a correction. "Girls aren't looking for ass kissers, they're looking for men" changes to "Women aren't looking for ass kissers, they're looking for men" Be a man at all times. Don't be a boy looking for girls.

Giving away compliments is a bad idea? Dude. The human psyche responds to compliments 100% of the time. We're wired to desire approval. A little bit goes a LONG way too. Just don't talk about beauty right off the bat. That's a "known".

In a conversation with someone I've just met, I usually try at least once to get her to maintain eye contact with me for a few seconds, then I break eye contact with her quickly by looking down with a slightly embarrassed smile, and then I regain eye contact and hold it for a while. It shows that I'm human, approachable, have emotions, like her, and most of all, that I'm not a domineering asshole who won't back down no matter what. Oh, and it really doesn't matter who's talking to whom. Eye cont…
