Because this is an issue of individual rights, not collective rights of a family unit. Giving both parents parental leave will equalize much of the legal inequality of hours-worked while still leaving it up to individuals whether they choose to use that freedom.

I'm going to have to disagree. The author makes the argument that this hours-worked gap stems from women taking time off for their children in their 20s and 30s. This is not necessarily discriminatory, but largely societal. However, one policy that could decrease the hours-worked gap would be paid maternal and paternal leave, allowing fathers and mothers to be on equal (legal) footing with regard to taking time off to care for their kids. I think that's something many people could get behind.

I would really recommend more videos by that channel, LearnLiberty. It has an obvious libertarian leaning, but it explains many economic and social issues really well.

Or, you know, you could just not force anyone to join an army against their will.

I generally trust Adam vs. The Man. A lot of his videos are unscripted interviews with random people on the street. But maybe, this might have been scripted. Or at least, cue cards.

The government can't force a company to change the price of it's products, so while this is wrong, it should still be legal.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
