Not really true. There are many celebrity couples as examples that have the wife as the more attractive one in the relationship. I'd say women care about looks just as much as men do when it comes to partners.

I believe the average woman respects the average man. There's a vocal minority of women on social media that don't respect the average man, just like there is vice versa for a vocal minority of men who don't respect the average woman.
