Okay but I also see many stories from men on here who have been falsely accused, and later have trouble trusting women. That is also valid, even thought not ALL women have falsely accused them. Even though most women haven’t falsely accused a man, it is completely fair for a man who has gone through that to not trust most women. It’s simply a psychological response to the trauma. Even if you were not the one falsely accused, if something like that happens to someone you know, that would also imp…

Exactly. It’s a psychological response to be cautious around men if you were victimized by a man in any way, we can’t blame women for feeling this way. Even if they weren’t the victim. For example, if a you were a woman and your friend was assaulted by one of her guy friends that she really trusted, it would be hard to trust your own guy friends. I also see many stories of men on here who have been falsely accused, and later have trouble trusting women. That is also valid, even thought not ALL w…

I never said only, but the majority of slaves in America were from Africa…this is a well known fact. I later thought it would be more inclusive to say “poc”, that doesn’t make me a liar wtf And it seems like you have far too extreme opinions on feminism to be able to engage in any kind of reasonable conversation about these issues. Like, it’s absolutely ridiculous to say “feminism says men can’t be parents, they are all rapist pedophiles”. Such a blatant exaggeration factually incorrect. You als…

I’m not talking about the laws 100 years ago, I’m talking about the laws now. In case you didn’t know, things have changed a little bit since then. A main value of feminism is that gender roles should be non-existent, so why would feminists lobby for kids to ONLY go the moms? That’s clearly catering to societal gender norms, which feminists do not believe in. Like you said, in the past kids would ALWAYS go to the dad- that’s what feminists lobbied against. Every situation is different, some time…

Feminism is not the reason father’s lose their kids in court. The law favors mothers because of the patriarchal idea that women are inherently better at being caregivers than men are. That is not a feminist belief, it’s a patriarchal belief. Feminists and men’s rights activists are both against this type of thinking, sometimes the father is more capable than the mother. It’s very wrong to compare families being broken up by custody disputes, to families broken up human trafficking.

Dude, you literally said “I’m not generalizing” and then said “they’re all the same”. That’s the definition of a generalization. You’re also ignoring the point I’ve been trying to make about how generalizations are bad for both men and women. You’re just ranting abt how women suck instead so I’m gonna stop responding to you. Sorry you’ve had such bad experiences with women🤷🏼‍♂️

I hate that you’re getting downvoted for this. I really can’t believe people in this thread think that a damaged reputation is worse than a literal physical attack

Your welcome :) I think people forget that true feminism is supposed to be advocating for equality of women’s rights as well as men’s rights. And yeah, getting downvoted for a post supporting men rights on a sub for men’s rights? They probably read “us females” and immediately stopped reading lmao ridiculous

First of all you are generalizing if you think that the majority of women are not capable of real love. You yourself are guilty of the characterizing 90% of women based on 10%. I’m just trying to explain that if you as a man generalize all women, it is hypocritical to get mad when women generalize all men. I’m only making this point on this sub because tired of being generalized as a man.

Okay well if you think “not all women” is a ridiculous non-argument, you can’t complain when women generalize all men.

Just to give you some info about why some guys get accused months/years after the assault: Most, if not all, sexual assault victims blame themselves at first. The whole narrative around sexual assault is essentially victim blaming, if the victim had in any way “put themselves” in a vulnerable situation. (This doesnt apply to stranger sa, which is very rare.) So if someone gets assaulted while they were intoxicated, or while they were wearing something provocative, or after they initially agreed …

Do you really think that in all situations, being accused of sexual assault is worse than being sexually assaulted? In your situation, you didn’t remember being assaulted, correct? You only found out later? Please correct me if I’m wrong about that. Yes that’s a horrible and inexcusable thing that happened to you, but not having memory of the assault lessens the trauma that results from it, that’s just psychology. (You can definitely still have trauma from assaults that you have no memory of, bu…

Are you really comparing feminism to slavery…. I’m not a feminist but I think slavery was much worse for black people than feminism is for men. Black people were legally considered as property, were physically abused, their families were constantly getting broken up at literal auctions while people bought and sold their children. Slavery is objectively a hell of a lot worse than feminism, this is a really bad analogy.

Well said! I cant believe you’re getting downvoted for this, it is possible to believe in and advocate for men’s rights and also believe in feminism at the same time.

Yes but all of this is just proving how feminism negatively impacted women. This specific issue has benefited men. Since most women have to work nowadays, most men are not the sole breadwinners of their household. This relieves the financial burden/stress off of the man, he’s not the only one responsible for the finances anymore. Nowadays, it’s perfectly acceptable for the women to be the sole breadwinner and take all of that financial stress/burden, or for the household to have 2 incomes, which…

Wow, thank you for actually acknowledging all of this. This sub is about men’s rights, so it shouldn’t be controversial to acknowledge they ways that feminism has helped men’s rights.

This is a huge generalization of women. How can we blame women/feminism for generalizing all men as bad or dangerous, while we simultaneously generalize them for “not having empathy for men” or “only loving conditionally”? Not ALL women are like that. We can’t say “not all men!” and then straight up say “all women ___”. Sorry, but your take sounds very hypocritical.

If you’re looking for honest answers, one way feminism has helped men is that men don’t have to be the sole breadwinners of the household anymore. Before feminism, men had to shoulder this responsibility alone, now it’s perfectly accepted and possible for a women to work/be the breadwinner. Even though it has taken an ugly turn in recent years, we can still appreciate that the original ideas of feminism is beneficial for men and women.

Your post makes you sound like you don’t enjoy or want to spend time with women, and that women don’t really want to have sex with you lmao. By your logic you offer your time in exchange for what you really want from her (sex), and she offers you sex as reward for what she really wanted (to spend time with you). But have you considered that some men ALSO like to spend time with women as well as fucking them? Or that women ALSO enjoy sex with men in addition to spending time with them? If you onl…
