It seems stupid, yet you have the responsibility to care for yourself without harming others (e.g. stealing). If doing some meaningless jobs is what it takes, that's your responsibility (or if you don't want to do that, it's your responsibility to find a different path in life). You might dislike it, but that doesn't change anything about your responsibilities.

You are completely wrong. I have never spoken of expenses. I have spoken of compensation. Compensation depends on the contract and is independent of the actual expenses. Your understanding is too narrow to make a distinction between the two, fine, but don't cry female thinking. I hope you never enter any serious contract - if you do, God help you. Have fun with your life.

These charts prove nothing. There are so many different ways to explain these charts other than 'having sex with lots of people makes your life suck'. Came here to say this. On top of your points, the obvious flaw in those statistics is the age range, i.e. 15-44. That's a range of 30 years! Of course, a 15 year-old has had few sexual partners, than a 44 year-old, all else equal (e.g., the same person at 15 years old must have had a smaller or equal number of sexual partners compared to that pers…

It is one of the reasons I think mandatory military service for full citizenship would be a good thing; it forces people to experience this and potentially develop perspective from a position of humility as well as learn what a collectivist life is truly like instead of the utopian ideal they get indoctrinated with in academia. You want to take away people's freedom to show them what it is like to not have freedom? After they have survived your grand idea, they get back what they have already ha…

A tax on childless men (and maybe women) to subsidize single mothers (and maybe fathers) is possible. It's already happening. In the US and especially in Europe. Anywhere in the western world you get tax credits for children, marriage etc. In many European countries you get subsidies (like child support from the state). Taxes are used to build public schools, kindergardens, etc. They are used for public transport subsidies for children. State-owned or state-financed universities. The list goes o…

You're unlikely to find a woman besides your mother who will nurture you. I wouldn't say it's impossible to find a nurturing woman - but those nurturing moments probably are limited to once a year (to give a random frequency with no real significance).

For the waste majority on TRP, it's probably a bad thing: you are probably beta/unattractive and considered gay, not good. For a minority, those who are already attractive (confident, jacked etc.), being mistaken for gay can be a good thing. It adds a layer of mystery to your personality. Girls might say to themselves: "he appears to be gay (when he interacts with me) (aka not interested in me), but he also looks like he could have a lot of girls (or even has had a lot of girls)." Hamstering ens…

In my country, you have the obligation to help when someone's life is in danger. However, even if you are supposed to know, e.g. CPR, it is defensible that you didn't act, because you were scared, didn't know how to do it in the shock of the moment etc. What is not defensible is not calling (the equivalent of) 911. That's just the law and it's not very redpill to argue solely based on the law. However, it goes to show that even if you have no clue how to do something in particular, there is alwa…

'Money doesn't make you happy' is poor people mentality. I think it's more like average people mentality. People who are comfortable. Life's not bad but also not great. "Money doesn't buy happiness" is just an excuse to not try earning more money. Especially if money doesn't buy happiness, you should increase your earnings per unit time spent ratio to reduce the amount of work you need to do to earn a living.

In a typical ok marriage, you might put out $50000 and get laid 100 times one year = $50000/100 = $500 Per Fuck. I'd really be surprised if the average number is that high. Maybe up until mid-30s or late-30s, but no longer than that.

Been there, done that. You need love and support. You won't get that from a woman. Relationships with women are high maintenance and not the place to be weak (not often, that is). Find friends, real friends. I have one friend that really makes a difference. I have lived in different countries and I didn't like my country very much, but I was happy to come back and stay, because a real male friend makes all the difference in the world.

4) AWALT. This is a long one, translation (I'm shocked things are imperfect) Of course I need to mention this, though hopefully this post will help change that. This number one rule is an excellent one, because it embodies a truth you must accept beyond simply women. All THINGS are like this. People, items, women, men, yourself, they break, they are imperfect, they do fail without exception. It is inevitable. You must accept that eventually everything ends. Once you've accepted this it's much ea…

The number one problem as a foreigner is getting a visa. If you are a permanent resident already, it should be easy. It's just that work visas are a hassle for the company, so most likely start-ups wouldn't bother (I am not talking from experience though).

For fucks sake, women CHOOSE to have kids. They CHOOSE not to work longer hours for more years. How is this a disadvantage to them if they chose this? If a man chose to take more time off work to look after their kids, ANZ won't top of their super, hmm? Fucks sake. If one person takes time off to pursue personal matters, it's just to pay less. Apparently, if a collective (e.g. females) chooses to do the same thing, it's unjust to pay less. Somehow, decisions on an individual level that have (rea…

That's basically how all women are though, they simply don't function with logic and reason. I don't think that it has necessarily to do with logic and reason. Think about it this way: if someone tells you, you didn't accomplish most of what you have "accomplished" by yourself, but only because you are born in a first world country, how would you react? Independent of whether it is true or not, you would not give it much thought, or flat out deny it without an argument, because there is no point…

All women prefer a man with muscles, not just bar sluts. I don't believe this to be true; however, the subset of women who prefer muscles is much, much larger than the subset of those who don't.

The mere belief that women are incapable of being held accountable contributes to a great deal of their negative behavior. I think you hit the nail on its head here. It doesn't matter whether women are in camp A or B, as /u/transientliving described. You need to hold people accountable on a level appropriate to the rights and level of freedom they get. Then, it doesn't matter whether one or all women have full or limited agency, since you adjust your actions accordingly. We are talking in aggreg…

When you say "I like your x" you might sometimes get an urge to explain why you like her x. I'd say you can give her a reason why you like, e.g. her tits. You could say "I like your tits. They are so perky." (while touching them) It works because you are more specific with your desire. You shouldn't use the word "because" though. I don't know why, but in my experience it's not a useful word with women.

Her "standards" are not rooted in logic. While she does not give much conscious thought to why she feels attracted toward a man, it's still logical, because it follows a pattern. The outcome is never guaranteed in anything that is of relevance in life, be it a career, relationships or whatever. However, as you said, you can increase your odds significantly.

Well, yes and no. It's true that she would probably try to woo him if he gets ridiculously attractive/successful. That's not the point. I don't deny that she thinks she can do better. I deny that this is the reason she rejected him. I believe you would do the same. Here is an example: Say you have a female friend, a 5. You don't find her particularly attractive, because she is a little overweight. But she is nice. So you keep her around as a friend. Over the years, she realizes that she needs to…

Let's be clear here. She did not reject you because she thinks she can do better. She clearly rejected you because she wanted you to be friends just like she thought you were for years. That being said, if all you wanted was to fuck her, then it's alright to dump her because of this.

You are right. When taking to women, it might be a success to approach 8 women in one night without hesitating. With one you hesitate but approach and another one you see but don't approach. This might be a sincere success.

I think seddit is more BP than PUA. If I had to order them (no coincidence that it's left to right): BP - Seddit - PUA - RP I, myself, didn't like to be a "manipulating" PUA and liked the romanticized idea of Seddit-type seduction. But once you get started (and it took me quite some time), you quickly realize that it's not like that at all (especially if you have low SMV).

All my FCs and 90%+ of my NCs came from cold approach in the last 2 years, so yes, it is possible. And I don't even lift.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/15 06:06 AM

Now you are just twisting the definition of cold approach. Sure, you should work on both your social circle and cold approach. And sure, you might talk to people who are actually in a rush (that's why you can adapt your approach to the other person's situation, even though you don't have to). It's still a cold approach. Women do this too. It's a look that says I'm not available for conversation and will stay that way until I'm not in a rush. That's as much true as are "girls' nights out" and the…

Fair enough. However, cold approach still implies that there is no social tie between you and the girl. When you approach at house parties, there already is a tie, because you know the host one way or another (even if it's just a friend of a friend). Thus approaches at house parties are in general not cold approaches. Edit: The point being, it's important to you be able to make girls attracted to you, no matter the situation. If you can only pick up girls at house parties but not on the street o…

However, when you cold approach a girl at a house party that your friend is throwing then it is a very intimate setting (you must be cool because Steve invited you) and she might already know your name. That's not a cold approach. That's a warm approach, because the girl already knows something about you. Cold approaching means that you literally know nothing about the other person other than that you are in the same physical location. That's not true with a friend's party.

Despite what some of you will post, this is not a good thing. Revolutions are not a good thing, I hope to never be alive for one. I hope to never be caught in a literal mob of uncontrolled people. Although I am in the same boat as you, I'll nevertheless suggest possible reasons. Past behavior predicts future behavior. If she had sex with X guys until age Y, how can I possibly be sure that she has stopped for good? it could be interpreted as something negative about the person they "locked in" for a LTR. The prevailing view here is, that AFBB; most women are not able to lock in an alpha to pay, so they actually need to "settle" for the beta. I believe some people still love the romantic id…

But you can certainly "tame" your ego, if that makes any sense. Maybe it is helpful for you or other people. I don't find it helpful to think about it like this. The underlying theme, as I see it, is to be at war with yourself. The underlying feeling that you have to fight something within yourself.
/r/TheRedPill11/09/14 07:03 PM

The whole point of doing embarrassing things which are ambitious/constructive to one's self is to kill your ego. /r/TheRedPill11/09/14 02:24 PM

No, doing embarrassing things does not necessitate killing your "ego". I find the term "ego" misleading here. You are not killing your ego but you are creating it. You are creating an independent self. That's what "frame" ultimately is. Now, how do you do that? You do it by questioning premises you have not questioned in a long time, if at all. People in the US are quite lucky, comparatively. In France, it's forbidden to do paternity tests unless the judge orders it. That is, Woman says you're the father == you have to pay.

If you are not that confident yet (and even if you are), you can use the side hug, both when you first meet her (say, on the street) or when you say "good bye". It's a very non-confrontational way to become physical. When you see that she is already attracted to you, you can "spin hug" her. I was okay with daygame, but I sucked at nightgame. The biggest junk of the bootcamp was infield and that's what I paid for. I don't think paying for presentations is worth it. If you have an active community in your area with a couple of advanced guys, I think hanging out them is more productive in the long run.…

haha, funny to see someone recognize it. yes, I have that from the Lefkoe Method, although almost every technique about unlearning beliefs is a variant of this.. it's just the most structured process I have found so far. edit: what also helped me a lot is the sentence completion exercises from Nathaniel Branden. I recommend you read either "Six pillars of Self-Esteem" or "how to raise your self-esteem" (or both).

Seems like you are a hardcase. The reality of it is, that this shit is tough. Seduction itself is not that hard to learn. It's just that you have very strong negative beliefs. Keep approaching (like a retard), even if a lot of people recommend it, is not exactly what makes you progress. You have to be willing to honestly look at what you did and what happened. You need to build self-esteem. I recommend you read "six pillars of self-esteem" by Nathaniel Branden.

For those kinda things I believe it is very hard to change by doing baby steps. You will easily fall back into your old beliefs. Do you have any people in your area to show you the ropes? I know it's really hard to change your belief about being unattractive without having any success like sex. What are your goals when going out? Maybe sex/relationships is just too high of a goal at this point. (They aren't true anyway right?) I believe this to be the problem. This is not how beliefs work. You c…

This. How do you make something interesting? Be interested in it yourself (that is, passionate or whatever you want to call it). And this is not limited to topics that seem interesting to you at this point.. You can literally talk about eating a sandwich if that's what you fancy at the moment.

Sorry, had to downvote this because this: Just stop thinking so much. is one of the worst advices you can get, if taken the wrong way. Indeed, when you are "in state"--when everything is flowing-- you think less. But you cannot actively do "stop thinking". For me, personally, it was a terrible advice because I started to distrust my mind even more, which made me more anxious. That being said, you cannot convince yourself logically into approaching (at least most guys cannot). How do you overcome…

What makes you good enough now is developing yourself as a person. You won't improve yourself for two years and all of a sudden you become attractive. You will have successes along the way. What do you have to do to become the attractive person you want to be? Approach the girls you want NOW.

I am not the OP, but I have an idea of why people think you should not apologize. The way we are trained to apologize and hold other people's needs above is, for some people, accelerated by compulsively apologizing for every little things that happens. However, in the grand scheme of things it's not important that you not apologize, the same way it is not important that you talk to everyone if your only goal is getting girls.

There is no way I will ever have sex with a new partner without anything but explicit consent these days. I know where you are coming from, but only a few girls will ever tell you that they explicitly want sex with you.

You should edit it, I don't think it's clear or obvious. The word you should be using is pathetic, which is quite the opposite of vulnerable.

what's holding you back is your ideas about what you think you know about the person, however I suggest dropping that and focus on actually getting to know the person. good point. say you catch yourself doing it. one remedy would be to ask yourself: "is this true 100% of the time?" if the answer is "no", let go of that thought (I have not found a judgement that is 100% true.. maybe most of the time, maybe often, maybe even 100% in my past expierences .. but that does not make it true in general …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
