That's what everyone says lol, I've gotten all girls off the pedestal but for white girls it's different, I think I have a preconceived notion that a white girl would never date an Indian, but I don't know why I think like that

I had already made my intentions clear the day before when I asked her out, she was really keen, the night before i was trying to make plans on WhatsApp but she was unresponsive, so when I saw her she told me she was unsure about the whole thing. She then asked if we could be friends and if there's something between us that we could pursue it, I refused then she suggested a coffee date

I've realised I've had rose tinted glasses on, and I'm expecting things to come from this even though it hasn't gone anywhere. I've decided not to expect anything from this and if she doesn't want to go out it doesn't matter to me, I'm just going to take it as it comes. I've made up this version of what she is in my head and sort of put her on a pedestal.
