I lived these old days, going hunting with a wingman: the idea was that he would provide cover by taking care of the Fattie/ugly chick while you could have a clear shot at the hottie (basically an Star Wars Death Star proton run, one playing Luke and the other Han) of course the role of wing man and leader would reverse and most of the time we would fail the mission, but we’d have fun. Yes, 90% on rotten tomatoes by critics and 30% by public. The root of the evil is that score is no longer based on artistic value. Good script, acting,story, photography, etc... that only counts for half of the score, the other half is as follow: is the main protagonist a woman? There aren't really any movies coming out, was really excited about the Dune movie (I read all the books) and loved the David Lynch film but it has been delayed. You can watch the Godfather III Copa, is a new cut of the classic movie released a few weeks ago, and although it doesn't really change much things I think it is slightly improved.... not at the level of Godfather I and II but still better than 99% of anything made after 2010.
