Well, two things... 1. Nobody in this subreddit is advocating for domestic abuse being perpetuated on anyone (male or female). 2. If he was penalized for abusing her in the past... He still couldn't do anything about it because if he did it again it would be a new crime.

Women don't want the birds that fly into cages. Don't express interest in an LTR until well after they do. This is an easy shit test. I tell them that they should date other people if that would make them happy and then talk about something else. The absolute lack of neediness and lack of desire to lock them down makes you look legit and makes their wheel spin.

Is this still the same method if you've been in an LTR or plating a girl for longer? AKA 3 months, 6 months, 1 year -- "We're just not compatible anymore." And then, I imagine they would ask, "Why don't you think we're compatible?" You just go and keep repeating it? Do you lean back on words like, "I just don't feel like we're compatible."

Makes sense to me. When you believed the outcome could be a fairy tale it was worth a lot more effort. Now that it's all exposed for what it is, it makes that idgaf attitude a lot easier. Because, idgaf.

That's kind of awesome. Me: "I won't get married without a prenup." Her: "Okay, I love you for you, let's get a prenup." Me: "Well... California law has precedent that if I won't get married without a prenup you can't be legally bound to one due to duress. So, we just can't get married."

Yeah, I think I know those types. They're smart as hell and I get to meet them through work colleagues or school friends. My worry with this category is that I think they are often very self-aware Machiavellians (especially when they come from these business circles). Maybe I can be their AB today but everyone is going to stumble at some point and I feel like these type of women can be ruthless with what they want (no loyalty, no morality). Gone Girl is the extreme example but this is the same c…

Can you describe these women a bit more? I generally write off women as "plates only" if they're >25 or so. Even if they act sweet I sort of imagine that 6 months into dating the crazy will come out which is why they're still single. I just don't take them seriously.

You know who should definitely be facing assault charges... male babies. They're always sucking on their momma's teets but I haven't seen one of them ask for consent. It's like they're just born to be rapists...

This is terrible advice. Run. There is no evaluation period of whether you want to stay in the relationship or not. Her mental illness didn't ruin your entire life this time but next time it might. Abusers always say things like they'll improve but they don't.

I agree. You should make a Title IX complaint. They're openly promoting an environment where females can rape men with total immunity. People can get erections in a coma. They're saying the person in a coma is able to give consent? https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=erection%20in%20a%20coma

It seems to me that BP thinking is what makes a population more subservient. Meditation just helps that population be more successful at being subservient because it helps them control non-BP actions that may originate from raw emotions. On the flip side, if you have someone who is very RP or Machiavellian then they will act in their self-interest. In that case, meditation will do the same thing but have a very different outcome. That person will again restrict their spontaneous actions arising …

Are you kidding? Courts are so screwed up I think we should take it as a win that they didn't find a way to put the man in prison... You know a school would have expelled him.

Yeah, I really can't believe stuff like this goes on in the USA either under the guise of "liberty, equality, and justice" either. I'm also shocked that there's no general awareness of these issues when any lawyer that deals with these matters could shatter the public's idea that they're fair in under five minutes. With that said, I still stand behind my recommendation of reading a little TRP. If there's nothing you can do about the situation with your children right now then you may as well rec…

I don't think this is on "our" side at all. I'm not sympathetic to false rape accusers because they have some sort of life circumstance that makes them want to falsely accuse someone of rape. Nearly everyone who commits a crime has a life circumstance that makes them want to commit the crime...

Totally agree. It's nice to see RP Theory works on average but if you're consciously implementing RP then you shouldn't be average.

So this was literally zero evidence and just an accusation... accuser didn't take the stand to be cross examined... and his life is ruined. Sounds fair (/s).

Well, we see it in the court system too (just noticed your other post re: sentencing). Hitler didn't do everything on his own... he needed to convince the country that it was the right thing to do. Again, I'll acknowledge this is an obviously extreme comparison but it has some scary seeds. Hitler didn't start as a dictator of a country.

I'm not saying the current situation is AS BAD as the other ones but there does seem to be some similarities that it seems to me that we (as a society) should have learned from. There are radical feminists out there suggesting that the future has 90% less men and there is the #KillAllWhiteMen tag trending... If those things were to come to pass it would actually be worse.

Game theory time to solve for the nash equilibrium (check my logic)... We'll use an example in tech as it is a familiar field for most and easier to split the jobs based on gender. Example Assumptions: -Not many women in STEM (programmers, hardware engineers, etc.) jobs or education -Tech companies may want to have diversity so they hire women for different administrative functions - secretaries, HR people, etc.) -STEM employees produce more value for the company than administrative employees -W…

I'm going to guess that this situation didn't even happen. She posted this on Facebook to "subtly" tell her friends that guys check her out and get some attention. Evidence: She's a feminist shopping at Walmart (right at the intersection of two very attractive groups).

I can see this working as a band-aid for for where we're at with culture now, so great idea. However ultimately we should be pushing for people to recognize that women can be abusive and it's that it's not okay for them to abuse men. The only way to get that information out there is by sharing the truth.

Not troll but just trying to understand. I feel "middle of the road" but I wouldn't argue with people who bash on the left for being ridiculously pro-feminism. The reasons I feel this way are: -The media outlets (other than fox) coming from "the left" pushing feminist agendas. -The states that are way on "the left" such as California and New York pushing feminist agendas. -The politicians from "the left" pandering to the feminist vote by pushing laws that have unfair consequences for men. Are my…

The high school boys should sue under Title IX if they were not given equal treatment based on their gender as the article describes as it obviously impacted their ability to pursue their education (suspension).

JT, others have thrown around the idea of suing the girl for slander. Do you know how successful (or not) those lawsuits have been in the past?

Seems like a significant number of men are losing (see dismissed cases) and a "settlement" is hardly a win. It could be hundred of thousands in legal fees just to get your name cleared and be able to move to another institution. http://www.avoiceformalestudents.com/list-of-lawsuits-against-colleges-and-universities-alleging-due-process-violations-in-adjudicating-sexual-assault/ Please note, I'm not saying this to argue... just to get to the truth of the matter (maybe I'm looking at it wrong ?)
