I called no one a snowflake and of course violence should not be used in most cases. I am only arguing with the statement that there is never a reason to hit someone who didn’t hit you first. I think we are underestimating the power words can have. Not saying to punch everyone who calls you a name, or anyone you disagree with. But yeah, this thread is weird, could not get that across very well for some reason

Have you ever been in a fight, or at least seen one? It starts with some fucked up shit being said. Even hockey has two-minutes for instigating. Punches generally don’t just fall from the fucking sky. I’m not saying to punch in every or even most situations. But to say there is never a reason, is ridiculous, fairyland bullshit.
