Part of the Sexual Harassment in the workforce training that I've undertaken is basically telling guys to keep 1.5 away from female staff, not to stand in or lean on objects doorways when asking questions because this can be perceived as threatening, etc. So, yeah, it does happen more than it should.

Another stereotype is that a man must stay in the same industry for their entire working life. I started out as a labourer in a warehouse, later on I got a license to drive the forklifts. Physical labour takes a toll on the body so when I lost my job I studied Business, Management, Business Administration, and I am currently studying Accounting. With all the academic qualification I have on the wall, all the demonstrable skills I've learned... I'm only thought of as a broken down box pusher!

You have to like sports. Combative and tribal sports like football (any code), boxing, MMA, etc. You're only allowed to know one field. You cannot have knowledge about other fields that are not directly connected unless there is a direct family member who has a job in that field.

The best way to understand the Queensland police is to ask yourself ‘Is there revenue for the state or media coverage for the police?’ The only times the police will act is if they can raise money for the state coffers or they can get media coverage to further the police minister’s political goals. The police don’t like gel blasters so that is the part that got their attention about the whole incident. A cabbie being assaulted in Inala doesn’t even register to them nor would the thief of a phone…

I used to drive a taxi in the same state and trying to get any form of compensation for fare evasion on its own is nearly impossible as the police just don't care to even start the paperwork. Unless there are other criminal charges brought and the fare evasion is tacked on, the driver is SOL.
/r/MensRights27/08/22 03:01 AM

The guy will face charges about the gel blaster and the incident will be used to further a ban of the toys. The girl will not face any charges, not even for the fare evasion.

Women's sex toys seem to start at 'Above Average' move to 'Monstrous' and finally onto 'barnyard funtime and other animals' ... And no, I'm not kidding about that last one, look up 'Baddragon' when it's safe to do so.

There are several internet posts about the attitudes of women when they find out about adult toys for men, a common one is, to paraphrase, 'Will your sex doll cook for you or clean for you. Will it love you?', to which the reply is always 'Do you?' In the modern relationship, it is becoming increasingly common that the woman will only bring in sex to the equation and only on her terms. Using a toy for gratification takes away that and the modern woman feel threatened by that so instead of offeri…

While the fans might want to see JD back as Captain Jack Sparrow, the bigger question that should be asked is why would he go back and work with organisations who dropped him on nothing more than hearsay evidence from woman with severe mental problems? I understand that 'It's just business, Johnny' but he was dragged through the mud while every one of his 'friends' in the industry stood by and did nothing.

That's the exact point I was trying to make. While they may be under the magical 6ft, many women perceive them to be at least 6ft due to their celebrity status and star power. They've had the belief that 6ft is beautiful and therefore since these people are beautiful they must be at least 6ft.
/r/MensRights02/04/22 12:21 AM

Maybe, but if you asked them how tall he is, you won't get an answer under 5'10"

Because women have no idea about height beyond a number. I'm 179cm tall or about 70.5 inches, no matter which way you cut it, I'm under the magical 6 foot mark by a noticeable margin . Many women at my workplace have commented that I'm 'The right height' when I've assisted them in retrieving objects from shelves and that I must be at least 6'1" or taller. They have been enthralled by the idea thanks to social and media manipulation and any person who does not meet that benchmark is automatically…

Including the recording devices!
/r/MensRights30/01/22 11:54 PM

You don't use the recording as evidence in any civil or criminal matter, you use it firstly as a bargaining tool and secondly to sway people to your side in the 'Court of public opinion'. Send the recording to men's rights groups, advocates, media, current and former employers of the accuser, etc. This is war, it's win or die time.
/r/MensRights30/01/22 12:59 PM

It's something that I see all the time regarding car accidents and auto fraud. People suddenly find that their 'serious' injuries disappear as soon as the camera is pointed out. Confronting a person with a recording has a similar effect.

Rules to live by when interacting with other people: Rule 1. Trust no one, not even friends or family. As soon as accusations begin to fly, they will distance themselves from you to avoid 'guilt by association' and afterwards they will offer pithy comments like 'I had to look out for my family' etc. People look out for their own interests, the average person will have no issue with lying to save their jobs. Rule 2. Record everything. Invest in a digital recorder and have it active whenever you'r…

Often they are used in Domestic Violence situations where one partner (normally the female) will apply for one to remove the other partner from the home. In Australia, these are virtually rubber stamped if the person applying for the AVO is a woman and are often used maliciously to prevent a father from seeing his children or going to local businesses.

Most women in the western world right now are incapable of seeing their worth beyond their own sex. When you ask what they can bring into a relationship the answer is always a variation on sex. Because of this, they use a perceived lack of sex as an insult. Apparently forgetting that prostitutes exist and are cheaper than wives!

During the McMartin trial, that was the working theory that Children's Institute Inc and Kee MacFarlane used in the taped interviews. It was thought that a child would realise the seriousness of the adults and they would only tell the truth. The reality was that the interviews were incredibly leading to the point that the children would make stuff up just to please the interviewer.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 01:33 PM

The whole 'not believing a child would lie' makes me think of the McMartin preschool trial. The claims that the children made because they wanted the approval of the adults conducting the interviews were so outrageous that even a coursoury fact check would prove the McMartins innocence.

The media back-pedalling on this story should be an Olympic sport! From what I can gather, it was a perfect storm for the original media narrative. She was the team leader, female, good looking but not a model and with just the right amount of 'nerd' to fit into the 'Women in STEM' gurlpower mindset. Once that genie was out of the bottle, the usual idiots take over and the story develops on its own.

It is more accurate to say that the media has latched onto a photogenic person who was part of the team and decided that it was all her doing for whatever reasons pass as thought in the MSM. Points two, three and four are suspect at best. While a detective might make such a comment in private, it is, at the least, unprofessional to make such a statement to a victim. Checking in at a police station takes about 2 minutes, less if the person or persons are expected. The chances of anything happening to the victim at the station are so small, they cannot be calculated. A grand jury can issue an indictment against a ham sandwich, rape cases are almost rubber stamped to go to trial. Any P…

On my Android phone, I use two. The first is a free app called 'Smart Voice' but there are many others out there, just search 'voice recorder' in the Google store. For phone calls, I use 'Call Recorder' it's another free app that automatically records incoming and outgoing calls. It's not perfect, but it does the job.

I went to the Sexual Harassment Officer and reported the incident. I was told that she would schedule an appointment in about a week to discuss the matter. 2 hours later, I'm being dragged in front of the SHO and an observer/witness and being accused of stalking the same female classmate and being treated like I'm the scum of the earth.
