Yeah same for me. My perception of long term relationships is in the gutter. Trying not to be bitter and resentful but it's a constant struggle.

What a fucking weirdo. I can't get my head round men who want to look after another man's kids. This roleplaying daddy, pretending to love the kids is creepy and a whole bunch of red flags to me. Tell him to.piss off.

When my mum died in the middle of COVID lockdown in 2020, my wife barely batted an eyelid. My mother was staying at my sister's and was gravely ill. Nothing to do with COVID, just old age and unable to recover from her 4th or 5th bout of Pneumonia . I called to speak to her the day before she died but she was sleeping. My sister said call back the next day , but she passed away in the night. I never got to say goodbye. My wife never came to the funeral, I could tell she was irritated by my grief…
