It’s ok man. I think as a man it’s good to be very hard on oneself but there are times and episodes in life where you want to take it easy and recover. Give it time. In recovery lies strength. But eventually you will get back on the horse and perhaps lead a better, more fulfilled life which you have to build. The night is darkest just before dawn. I hope I have given you a little bit of hope in a time when perhaps not many other people in your circles do.

I had a relationship ending pretty spectacularly and was really physically and mentally depleted for two years. Then recovered. Sports and good nutrition helped. Try to get off alcohol gradually, I realize it might be an appealing crutch but it’s poison for your hormones and wellbeing.
