Exactly right. We get over attached which leads to an idealised idea of someone and the love we feel is just projection. Thinking this way helped me so much,it's a true red pill mindset.

The main problem is people enter into a relationship as if unconditional and co dependent love is normal, thanks to conditioning by society and movies/TV shows etc. Nothing wrong with relationships, just be realistic and always maintain some detachment and distance. Monk mode is probably preferable but not going to be possible for everyone.

People with Stockholm syndrome can eventually fall in love with their captors/abusers.Romantic love does not exist outside of your own head and your own biology urging you to procreate. As I remember tfm saying it's projection.

This is a form of control like it's women that are up in arms over sex dolls/bots too, once they see men don't need them for the only bargaining tool they have (sex) they use shaming language and attempt laws to stop it. They can't get past the script that men need to be with them, they think emotionally not rationally and tell you that "the right one" is out there waiting for you etc.

There is a void that you need to fill with exciting projects, hobbies and interests.Learn new things to keep yourself occupied.Your lizard brain wants you to seek out females and it takes effort to get over this impulse but it gets easier. I still get the urges sometimes but I remind myself what it's like going down that rabbit hole and I come to my senses (so far anyway).

I once had a long argument because I mentioned in conversation that a friend of the women was fat, I only used the word fat because that was how she described herself the day earlier.turned into a bizarre and surreal discussion about how insensitive i was etc.

I read somewhere that when a guy is aroused his brain shuts down to a degree,it's nature's way of using your biology to make sure you proceate. What you are describing is the post nut clarity when the fog is lifted from your brain. I used to have this when I was still having relationships and eventually the conclusion is no the juice ain't worth the squeeze.

I get you and I've felt the frustration that you are explaining but eventually you get past it and realise that society is going to burn or correct itself regardless of how we feel about feminism, gynocentrism etc. I'm just in a calmer place now mentally,it's our life to make the best of and it's our duty to to aim to make ourselves happy without the validation of external things.

The rest of society isn't going to bow to common sense and logic,it's going down the pan. This is why we are walking away isn't it?

Who still goes to watch this tedious shit anyway? lazy tired Hollywood cash grab movies that should die.

I always say study philosophy like stoicism.Realise too that it is an over attachment, brain chemicals doing their work and all this type of stuff.Sometimes we are in love with a romanticised idea of someone that isn't based in reality. All the best on your path.

It takes time and work. Get into psychology and spirituality,do things that make yourself happy and learn about self actualization. I'm not fully there but I've made a shit load of progress.

Because society is down the drain.

Yeah bitching about feminism and gynocentrism does get a little tiresome,I've started to become more interested in psychology and philosophy etc. At the very least men and women do not love in the same way and that's interesting in itself,I don't think men are necessarily aware of this, that's primal urges and biology at work obviously.
/r/MGTOW14/02/20 06:01 PM

I know this but you are talking rationally and we aren't rational beings.I am interested in psychology but by no means am I an expert,I just find it an interesting idea to pursue.

Aren't we subconsciously looking for unconditional love like we felt (or perceive it as such)from our mothers? isn't the realisation that we can never get that from a romantic partner why the red pill rage hurts so deep initially? A bit Freudian I guess but I've been thinking a lot about this sort of thing lately.
/r/MGTOW14/02/20 04:59 PM

When you come to the realisation that unconditional love from a woman does not exist, you can call yourself red pilled.

I will never pay to watch feminist infested woke trash, last film I watched in the theatre was 1917.next one will be in quite a while I guess.

I bought a 50" 4k TV with the money i saved and I collect and watch mostly older and foreign movies now,I will visit the cinema from time to time as I like to support my local one but only for selective screenings.
/r/MGTOW11/02/20 05:19 AM

I went to see 1917 with a couple of mates. My local cinema is an old independent and I love going there but I refuse to spend my cash on Hollywood garbage so I hardly ever go,only been twice lately (1917 and Joker)

It's thirsty beta men that are feeding the entitlement and narcissism of even the most average single mother types on social media and dating apps, then you get the 80/20 rule.

I was into PC gaming back in the day but got into console gaming because of other financial commitments at the time. I do miss PC gaming though and been thinking of building a new rig. Any tips from you guys?

Yes, I don't really find the whole women empowered/men evil slime balls insulting or triggering, just lazy and predictably boring.
/r/MGTOW11/02/20 04:29 AM
5

Yes of course but we have connected the dots now and see female nature for what it is,most of us have been that simp pussy beggar to some degree so can still relate to the movie.
/r/MGTOW10/02/20 09:11 PM
8

There are a lot of good themes running through the movie,I guess what relates to MGTOW is how weak and powerless men are to female manipulation.

Ex Machina is a great film. In the feminist sequel we will follow the further adventures of Ava as she single handedly smashes the patriarchy.
/r/MGTOW10/02/20 08:47 PM

Ripley and Sarah Connor had character arcs that were compelling and interesting, gamers never had a problem with female protagonists like Samus and Lara Croft. What people do resent is forced diversity and female empowerment/man hating movies that serve a woke feminist agenda

Gaming is a great way to chill out after work or something especially if you are like me and despise most of the shit on TV but it's easy to get into a sedantry lifestyle and that's not a good way of going your own way so to speak. I'm not that sociable but I got into things like mountain biking and hiking to get me back off the sofa and outdoors,it's just balancing things right.
/r/MGTOW10/02/20 01:19 PM

I don't actually mind the killers as such but a fucking annoying song as well as simpy.
/r/MGTOW10/02/20 07:09 AM
2

Yes I think those early rock and roll songs were the template and it just progressed into ever more simpy shit over the years. By the time we got to the seventies it was cuck city most of the way.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 07:02 PM
1

I've always had an alternative taste in music, not to say there aren't simpy things in most genres but to a lesser degree than mainstream pop obviously.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 03:35 PM
1

We live in a society where men have sold themselves out and cucked themselves, this is what makes you angry after the red pill rage against women passes and I see this simpy shit as a reflection of that. Maybe I am overthinking it.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 01:26 PM

I know lol it's only at work I have to endure it and even worse my co workers singing along.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 01:05 PM

The Police were at least interesting lyrically though I'm not really a fan. Another one was "Don't stand so close to me" which was about a dodgy teacher/pupil relationship. Sting could make any subject sound simpy though I guess he has a knack for it.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 01:05 PM

Always that way with pop music though wasn't it?
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 12:56 PM
3

Yeah i know that.same as TV and most modern movies and sadly the game industry is going the same way. Hearing stuff like Huey Lewis and Phil Fucking Collins on our work radio it's no wonder most of us grew up brainwashed and simped.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 12:54 PM

That fucking marry you song by Bruno Mars is cancer. Every breath you take is about an obsessive/stalker situation though isn't it?

Part biology, part conditioning. I look back and all the stress and anguish i went through was just the story I told myself in my own head but you live and learn, you grow and you adapt. "Today I escaped anxiety. Or no, I discarded it, because it was within me, in my own perceptions — not outside" Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

It reminds me to be positive and not slide back into weakness and that nobody owes you a thing in this life so you'd better toughen up and cast the old way of thinking aside and start living again.
/r/MGTOW09/02/20 11:18 AM

It's upbringing and conditioning though,it takes work and dedication to free your mind from the narrative that you have been fed all your life.

I was accused of cheating, being a player blah blah endless drama but the good things were good and sex was unreal. We broke up and got back together as I had feelings. It took about a month for the shit testing and gaslighting to start again.I wasn't doing anything wrong I was actively trying to pacify the situation and getting a shit load of stress and even physical threats for my trouble. You can ignore reality but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality, sometimes it's better to …

Stoicism is so good for reframing your perceptions of life, like only worrying about things you can directly control(yourself and your reactions etc) and disregarding the things that are outside of your control(other people, outside events). It is quite powerful when combined with MGTOW and really helps with a lot of the frustration you feel when you take those red pills.
/r/MGTOW05/02/20 08:54 PM

I've had gaslighting and projection used along with threats to have my legs broken and other crazy stuff. Women think with their emotions and it gets mentally draining after a while. No the juice isn't worth the squeeze and those pua scam artists telling you to be a simp and "hold your frame" can go fuck themselves.

I have always been a big movie/music fan as well as gaming.I have added to my collection quite a bit,I have money to go to gigs/festivals and as soon as the weather changes I'm looking to get a new mountain bike too. So glad I'm no longer a monkey simp.

The last woman I was with wanted me to move in with her despite her being extremely jealous, accusing me of the most ridiculous things and forever claiming I was trying to bang every woman we encountered. We broke up for a while then got back together when I moved into my own place as my reasoning was that would make her more secure. It just gave her more things to be paranoid about and apparently i was taking women back to my place on the sly and all that sort of nonsense,She was a lot of fun and …

I used to be like that,I am quite introverted by nature and always felt a certain amount of social anxiety. A lot has happened in my life and I've put myself through the wringer over women and other shit and I think you reach a point where you just decide to stop caring. Also I think getting into Philosophies like stoicism and Buddhism calmed my mind and helped with my anxieties.

I get where you are coming from. It took a lot of work and soul searching to get where I am and not every guy is there yet or even desires to be. We all experience life differently and can only do what's best for ourselves at the time.
/r/MGTOW204/02/20 08:00 PM

It's definitely fear and insecurity. I was in a ltr then back to my parents for a bit and I was wanting to get my own place but kept putting it off as I guess it felt alien to me(due to societal conditioning I guess) One big thing is i no longer care what other people think,I live for myself not others validation.

This is my experience pretty much exactly. I work all day and come home to peace and quiet. I hate most of the shit on TV and my music tastes are more alternative than mainstream. I can work out or take a bike ride or just a nice stroll with no hassles and no drama. I used to think living alone was quite sad and pathetic but now I feel sorry for the simp slaves who have very little peace and free time.

But men aren't the ones with double standards, using sexual imagery to sell then screaming about objectification.

Agree 100%. MGTOW combined with philosophy like stoicism has made me mentally stronger. Also Buddhism and the idea that attachment is the root of all suffering helps with oneitis.

I came across MGTOW on YouTube after getting into red pill stuff like Rollo etc. Once I realised that the red pill still meant jumping through hoops to please women only with the knowledge that you are doing so MGTOW seemed the sanest option.

I moved back with my parents a few years back after living with a woman for 13 years and it enabled me to put a lot of overtime in at work and save a lot of money. Now I live on my own and I'm loving the peace, quiet and freedom.

I was shocked that the idea of romantic love is a lie that keeps us in our place and in check. That women love conditionally and opportunistically. Shocking and offensive indeed.
