1	Support Richard Dawkins I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I believe it's complacency that has fostered extremism, not tolerance. There is nothing nice about intolerance. To ridicule a belief system, in my opinion, is counter-productive in understanding the differences in beliefs that people hold. 1	"You're not a woman, you don't understand [...]" or cheap ways to make a point. Women don't assume every interaction with a male is a potential sexual assault - that's a ridiculous claim. And were you there in the elevator with the woman who felt threatened? I don't think you were. Although on paper it may look innocent and that the woman overreacted, you weren't there. 8	Support Richard Dawkins I think you are being a little fast and loose with using the term 'feminist'. Just like there are Islamic and Christian extremist, there are feminist extremists too. Please don't hold a negative view on all women who consider themselves to be feminists. Like yourself, there are many women who are trying their hardest to fight perceived injustices. 5	Support Richard Dawkins He really doesn't choose his words well, does he? I can see why some might take offence to what he says - even in the first quote I mistook him for being dismissive of the plight of many Muslim women. However, after he clarified his original statement, I agree with his basic message. Maybe the girl you were arguing with did - I'm not sure, but I think fear leads to a lot of funky behaviour. I don't think it's fair of you to lump all 'feminist women' into one category and assume that they think they understand men.
