10	Change.org campaign to put women that lie about sexual assault in sex offender registry. The Sex Offender Registry is broken for sure. Given. The theory behind the Sex Offender Registry is that the public needs to be aware of a danger - because the recidivism rates for sex crimes are high. 2	Just caught an interview with Alan Hedge on CBC. Quote: "We should set the thermostat so that it's ideal for women and then men can adapt their behaviour by wearing different clothing..." 2	Three heroes died in Aurora taking bullets for their girlfriends Certainly, caution is prudent. I don't know if this is universal. It certainly seems to be in Western cultures. (Maybe someone with more anthropological knowledge can chime in.) I don't mean to insist that the "biology" dictates, in a sense that we are biologically pre-determined. That may be the case. But it might also be that we have evolved that was culturally, via group evolution and meme transfer. I.e., the culture that adopted these traits survived, and the others did not. My theory: Biological reality of gestation time. When a group is threatened with death, and fights for survival, the women are more valuable. 1 man and 10 women can rebuild the population of a tribe quickly, and might have 10 babies in a year. 10 men and 1 woman will not be able to rebuild the tribe for a long time.
