Moving from a sense of self-worth based on the scorecard of society and culture(whimsical as it can be) to an internal standard of values is a key step in the development of a man. Knowing exactly what values(For me its #1 Honesty, #2 Mindfulness, #3 Ambition....etc) you admire the most, and using them to guide your actions each day is about as liberating experience as I have had in life. For example with Honesty, I have situations at work where I know that telling the Truth is going to piss off…

Read Sam Harris's book Lying(short read) and you will get a taste of how often you unknowingly lie.

You don't have to suffer in silence, its just that no-one needs to hear you complain. Don't be a fool and think that internalizing all your suffering won't start to impact your mental health. You should journal to vent, write on TRP(as I am doing here), and have one or two very close friends, typically older men, who you can confide in.

Fear of failure is #1 on my list of effective concepts to be mindful of. As soon as I start to fear failure, I start to fail. It encapsulates the bluepill mindset. It makes you second guess, makes you directionless and people smell the fear a mile away.

I think the point he's trying to make is that you're one or the other, up or down, and I think thats a useful way to think. "Stagnant" seems to be an excuse. "I'm just waiting for the right time." I say this because I am guilty of it.

Any good resources you can recommend for learning how to structure arguments? I did this online course last year and would recommend it for anyone: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/logical-and-critical-thinking/0/steps/9135 If you decide to do a post on structuring arguments and debating I'd love to hear it. Could be a valuable resource for this sub.

Critiques of Jordan Peterson? I am on my way down the rabbit hole that is his youtube channel and feel I'm being sucked in a little. Lots of RP in there but wondering what I should be wary of?

You're looking for a quick fix. There isn't one. Read the sidebar, hit the gym, develop some game, try again next time.

When you have SMV of 2 then it takes lots of resources to get laid. At this point yes you should forego chasing women(and wasting your time/resources). You should be in the gym, in the library, in the kitchen whatever. When your SMV is 9 the resources needed to get sex is minimal. At this stage enjoy the fruits of your labor. Walk in to a bar, effortlessly pull. TRP is a journey.

You're in the friendzone. She's butting her head against the wall, while being fucked by chad. All at the same time! Yes they can do both.

As has been pointed out, you're in a great starting position. Being part of the debate club sounds like a great platform to start building your extroversion. How are you with the public speaking? I presume you do a fair bit of that as part of the club. Step 1 - Lift. This will give you confidence like you wouldn't believe. You'll stand up straighter, you'll feel like you can conquer anything, and your social interaction will begin to change. Step 2 - Don't bother till you're well on your way wit…

Wrote in my journal most days. Frame was good. Had a number of very good conversations with male friends, mainly about the works of Jordan Peterson. I now have three male friends that I talk openly with about TRP. Thought/quote that I am contemplating: "You don't exist until you have your own words." - Peterson's Message to Mellenials

Yeah so this is the dilemma I'm having in my head. I was running with that strategy to start with. She's done the same thing a bunch of times and I ran with it, which I think shows confidence because it shows you're secure enough with your own value to not feel threatened. But at the same time it definitely seemed she was testing how far she could go with it. So I decided to draw a line. But in the process have ended up looking insecure. I think I could have drawn the line without looking insecu…

This is why I keep visiting this sub. Re-reading the side-bar can be tedious. To see the fundamentals presented in fresh and concise ways like this is where the value of this sub comes from. Great post. Track 1 is the hardest pill I've had to swallow.
