You have to work with whatever bank holds the loan. When the divorce was finalized it was held by United Wholesale Mortgage and they had a form on the website for that. Immediately after it was finalized Chase bought the loan. It took a month to start the process (poor local training) they said it would be 4-6 months but ended up taking 11 months.

I did. I was able to assume the existing low interest rate (took 11months) and then got a 2nd mortgage to pay her equity.

There were 21 months between her leaving and when everything was finalized. I downloaded dating apps the Tuesday I found out and had my first date that Saturday. I know I am not good with this amount of loneliness, I am doing better than I used to be but still have a long way to go. I have kissed two girls, and not gone on more than a couple of dates.

I'm sorry to hear, I hope you can find a way to reconnect and reignite the passion and love you both have.

That would probably depend on how your marriage is doing. If you are in a healthy place, it's responsible. If not so healthy, it's preparatory. My wife worked while we were together and I think it was a very good thing for her, and took some stress off me. That worked for years, and then things went south.

Connecting with God has been the greatest help for me throughout this process. I know others (including my stbx) feel different, but faith has been my way to survive.

Whatever you do, and make sure you do more for your current woman.

I don't. I guess that means things have gotten better.

She took them with her when she left the state. I'm still waiting for everything to settle before I get another dog. Nothing could ever replace what was taken, but a void in my life needs to be filled.

I am not an expert so I can only really speak from my own experience. I believe one factor is that women tend to be more addicted to social media, and men have a higher tendency toward addictions like pornography. Both are destructive to relationships, but I believe the social media addiction shows people that the grass is greener outside of the relationship you have, whereas porn tells the user that their current relationship is probably the best their ugly self will ever get. Women's addiction…

Same, and knowing my female colleagues, it will always just stay in my head.

I missed all of the signs that she had bad relationships with men. She has only had a good relationship with three males, and she referred to all of them as grandpas. It seems like at some point every other man became the reason for every problem in her life. (Her dad, every ex, her BILs, bros, most church people, every male or mildly masculine boss, etc. ) I was too blinded to catch on before the wedding.

They don't have one, you just get sent on a "military training exercise" without a return ticket.

Threatening rape while groping you. Not cool.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
