No if you have a child at ,22 you would be 40 when the child is an adult.

Just a question what if the kids are adults? Does that change any of the dynamic?

This.. I filled for divorce. My husband who was having an affair and had already moved no from our relationship. Refused to file for the divorce he wanted. Heck he wouldn't even respond to any thing my last doesn't.

If the guy lies and says he was wearing a condom when he really wasnt. Again the point is to not demonize the only person who stepped up for the child. We as a society should be demonizing the person who chooses to make a child just to leave a child.

Yes a guy does have a say in it. He could use protection he could get a vasectomy. We should not be letting men off the hook. For their irresponsible behavior. Again let's not villainize the people who stay to raise the kids. The ones who walk away are the villain

Not even most of them But it's literally every single dude who walked away. Why didn't they take responsibility? They had a child they laid with a woman. More than likely talked her into sex in the first place. This problem is literally a men's problem. Stop shrugging responsibility. And blaming every women. And step up by and take responsibility.

That's not every case. And it's incredible sorry sided to put every single parent in that scenario.

Why is there all of this hate towards single mothers?. This is not the first time I've seen post about how single mothers produce violent adults. Well you know what maybe we stop demonizing the only parent that stayed and raised the kids. The way I see it it is every child has 2 parents. A father and a mother. The father splits. Leaving the mother to step up. She could of jumped ship like the father. But no she stays raises the child. And then gets vilified for staying raising the kids and doing…

It's being a realist. Abstinence goes against all of human nature. I mean we're you saying as and adult you've only ever had sex for the sole purpose procreation? You intended to have a child every single time.

Like that's a serious option . Let's all tell some more jokes.

Not to mention most adoption services are Christian organizations that won't let gay or different religions adopt. There's a case in Tennessee I think where an adoption agency wouldn't let a married Jewish couple adopt because of their faith.

Why would you? . I think if you tell the other person from the get go. This is only a physical short term thing. I do not want a relationship. And they are ok going into it with that condition. Then why not? Your both two consenting adults. You both know the boundaries of this particular engagement. And to the people who go months or years without. That's great too. You do what you need to do to be right with you. Sexuality is not a one size fits all category. Your sexuality is as unquie as you.

How about just got out of a long term relationship. And your not emotionally ready for another yet.

This goes both ways. I'm a 39 year old female and I've noticed that guys are more interested when they find out I own my own home. Lots of people date not to be homeless. Both men and women.

Now with my divorce. My ex is most likely like you. He says the courts are biased against men. The women's always get custody. But yet he filled none of the paperwork didn't even fill out paperwork given to him by the court and my lawyer. He didn't even hire a lawyer. He couldn't tell you the kids Dr, teachers, friends name, he couldn't even tell the judge what size clothes the kids wore. Meanwhile I could name all of those things had receipts for the new school clothes for the kids, new shoes e…

Silly argument? I gave you a real life against all odds example of what you say is near chance of 0 . It happened. He got custody. And for the record my mom is not a drug addict or, neglectful, or abusive and yes she did want her kids . But my dad is an amazing dad. My dad was the one at every Dr appointment, pta meeting, parent teacher conference ,coached our little league. My dad owned his own home (he had his own house before they got married and kept it,) my mom did not. My dad was a supervi…

While my parents were married. My dad legally adopted my brother. When they divorced. He fought for custody of both of us. How he won? He made the case that he was the better parent. Yes it cost him. He says that by the time it was all said and done he paid 20 grand in lawyer and court costs. But as he says raising his kids is worth any amount. Those are his kids.

My dad got custody of me and my older brother. My older brother want even biologically his. And this was back in the 80's when the courts awarding men custody was never heard of. But my dad has always said no one is going to raise his kids but him. So if he can do to to court get awarded custody. Every other man can too.

Of course we need police. But we need police who actually do their jobs. Not the lazy entitled criminal racist force we have now. We need police that actually serve and protect their communities. And don't solve every crime. Heck I would be happy if they even solved half.

Look at crime statistics. You get robbed don't call the police. They aren't getting your stuff back. Look at our homicide solve rate. It's abysmal. You get raped. Don't go to the police either. If your lucky they believe you and then do what? Write a report that gotta no where,? And not process your rape kit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/21 02:04 AM

For one police don't investigate rapes. There are millions of unprocessed rapee kits sitting in storage. So yeah we are worried about getting raised. And yes why are paying people to not do their jobs.

So your telling me that guys would rather have a woman that needs a man to buy her a car, provide her a home, give her money. Versus a woman who provides those things for herself.

Yup. You can't help who you fall for. And fyi he is incredibly funny, he would make me feel like there was no other person in the world, he is charismatic, charming, the life of every party. You know he has a great personality. Personality matters more than money or looks. So if you can't find a girl, it's not cause of money, or your looks. It's cause you have a shit personality.

Again your wrong. My ex is not hot by any standards. Unless you consider balding, and a beer gut so large he can't see his package hot. Most women don't. And fyi I am considered hot. So your wrong on all fronts

I've never once looked at a man for money. Heck I make more than my current boyfriend. And my ex husband did make more than me at the end. But I'm the beginning of our relationship that man didn't even own a pair of shoes. So for many it's not a factor at all

What men are"forgetting" at least in my state that alimony is only paid when the one paying the alimony cheats . So don't bitch about having to pay alimony cause you had an affair. Next time keep it in your pants

Not to mention what situation is going on in the woman's personal life. For example after my divorce. I hooked up with a few guys. The reason being I had just left a 16 year relationship . I was no where near mentally or emotionally ready for a relationship. But... you know you still have desires that need filled. It wasn't anything wrong with those men. There was something wrong with me at the time.

Fine then father's need to pay all prenatal costs and expenses. Pay the woman for surrogacy of his child. And then commit to raising said child on their own emotionally, physically and financially till the child is of adult age.

You don't know why they were dressed that way. The amount of times I've or my daughter has walked into a store in a bathing suit and short shorts on our way to the beach. Or in gym attire in the grocery store after gymnastics or dance class. And showing any amount of skin is none of anyone's business. If that's what someone feels comfortable in then So be it. Girls and woken don't wear reveling clothing for other people's enjoyment. Did you eve think that maybe they like the way the look in that…

My ex had the opportunity when we went to court for child support.

Maybe it's different cause I have 2. But I realise the commitment and utter exhaustion raising kids is... and even if it's just some kind if perverted money trap. To raise the kid one her own with your loot . That's not even a guarantee that the woman el get child support. I know plenty of single moms whose baby daddy didn't pay. It's just short sided and stupid.

Yes it is. Any parent can sign away rights at any time and the financial obligation . Heck parents can be duck with there financial obligation and still not pay. Not go to jail, nothing will happen. Maybe Their tax refunds are taken if they file taxes.

I agree whole heartedly . You have the conversation in the beginning. I tell guys straight up. My birth control, and I don't want any more kids. I have 2 who are teenagers. I don't want to raise another child. But I am honest the whole way along. If my bc is set to be renewed. Or there is some other possible complication with it. You let someone know. Say you did trick some guy into parenthood and a relationship . Is it really a relationship anyone would want.

Men do have the right not pay for the child. They can simply sign away their rights to the child. There is no child support then.
