It's also an obvious troll post meant to bait people in. An actual dad would just be happy minding his own business gladly unaware of these things.

The vast majority men on the other hand are completely turned off by women who are taken I don't think that's true unless qualified with "men who are looking for something serious" For me it doesn't matter if a woman is married as I'm just looking to have sex with her. Women's personal lives typically isn't something that interests or attracts me. If a woman is married and chooses to have sex with me that's her problem, not mine. There might be an element of social proof involved in why women en…

It’s really gotten out of control, if you even hint at anything even remotely related to men’s rights or critical of feminism or misandry it gets downvoted, deleted and often gets you banned. I'm not convinced that is really true. Maybe it happens in subreddits where it would be consider off-topic. It might be that people employ reddit as a political tool and seize control over moderation to get better surface area for their politics. One can complain about that or do the same. Reddit lets you c…

This subreddit is pretty filled with trolls, memers and reactionary men who simply want to ape after feminists and tear women a new asshole. To some extent one can understand the urge. Say that you are made to sit through mandatory and strongly gendered and finger pointy anti-rape education in colleges and universities. It is a natural reaction for something like that to cause backlash. Just as it would be a natural reaction to anti-shoplifting education received on the basis of racial profiling…

That is sort of a rich person's perspective (just not in an economic sense). It becomes hard to imagine living in squalor. Marriages end in divorce quite a lot and oftentimes in a lopsided way with respect to custody of children and finances. It can be hard to realise what that is like from the perspective of someone who either were lucky or made choices to avoid that outcome. Bliss can be assured, not with ignorance, but with knowledge.

I don't think that any discussion will give a clear and balanced picture of anything. Only measurements and an as close to unbiased interpretation as we can achieve will do that.

Women frame sex differently than men usually. When women say they are just as interested in sex or as horny they usually mean sex with a man they feel some sort of connection with. That comes in short supply as not many men are interested in establishing such a connection. Probably you'll find better luck in making the remark that women do not seem to be interested in sex in the same manner in which men are interested in it. It would seem that men assign some value to any and all sex while women…

Stoicism has never been about suppressing emotions. “You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realise this, and you will find strength.” Marcus Aurelius Stoics act on their emotions rather than being acted upon by their emotions. To suppress your emotions is like pretending the rudder turning the boat towards a storm doesn't matter and ignoring it. To control your emotions is to realise the boat is on a bad course, grab the helm and direct the rudder to steer the boat towards calmer s…

I don't see anyone saying it's good, but to murder is better than being murdered if it's one or the other. As I understand it abuse victims are groomed to know there is no escape; they are sick. Sick people are usually not judged the same way as someone who would simply walk away. I think this is something that can happen to both men and women.

The red pill has the same problem that feminism, incel and other labels plagued with vocal extremists have. If Plato's cave ended up being known as "where you rape women" then pretty soon it wouldn't be any good. I mean listen to Tate going "females are barely sentient" somewhere in this video or watch the whole thing here. Too much hyperbole, barely anything besides self-aggrandizing noise. He talks exactly like the most vile of feminist or incel who concocts some angry screed

I think there's more of an awareness now among men about relationships. It used to be that men just did what has been traditionally expected of them. That they were "serious" about women and sought out a long term relationship where there was no second thought about investment. They did such because that's just how things are supposed to be. Now with increasing awareness of possible and likely outcomes men are more reserved about their investments. You could also combine this with that the econo…

I think that's way too simplistic. People's sexual history can be a liability to you. Not just "icky". At the end of the day this is just a preference like any other. I for one do not really care, but who am I to say what others ought to like or not.

Bad response though to respond to a technicality rather than the point she's trying to argue; obviously the counting is wrong, so it's an inaccurate number. A good response would at the very least also address her point. I'm out of the loop here, OP what has Taylor Swift said that is misandrist?

One can present information without any malice or shame intended. Simplest thing would be to present a survey where men are asked about their preferences for long term relationships.

Don't see the purpose of slut shaming. Could make it clear that certain behaviours will make men compartmentalise them as "for fun" and not viable for anything serious. Probably similar things apply for men.

These seem to have an air of schadenfreude hanging over them. I don't doubt that this happens, but men who do this just do it. They don't post about it or go on any tirades. Don't see a problem with it. People ought to be free to enjoy their opportunities when they exist, even if it's at the expense of other opportunities. I just don't think there are many men who have felt left out and now go and do this and go on about it like in the post. The thing that gives it away is that they are suggesti…

Perhaps that you are referring to that, but I'm not. In any case not sure if you should simply trust one view even though it may be the one with the most witnesses. After all how could the vast majority of Germans (sometime during or right prior to ww2) have been so wrong about the Jews? Plenty of times a majority view has been wrong.

Probably, but that assumes a priori that we are both talking about that as a fact. You shouldn't assume that when I put victims and predator in quotes. More often than not we are in a gray world and not the one where we can categorically say predator and victim. Oftentimes a group of people may go along with things they do not really enjoy, but do so for the promise of extracting great wealth. Without knowing anything about this case I can say yeah possibly he's guilty, but I bet his victims are far from led astray saints. Oftentimes these cases are a bunch of cunts ("predator" and "victims" included) who clash and then they duke it out in court over financial grief. That said, let's see what the case is here. I'm sure this stuff will now get plastered everywhere.

They know that a large swath of men are overly preoccupied with superficial status and reputation. The threat of becoming associated with incels or whatever else group of social pariahs through smears is an effective means of social control. In reality I think "red pillers", "feminists" and "incels" have far more in common than not. A bunch of people can explain how to do reprehensible things without ever having done such things. Basically if we should have learned any lesson it is that we cannot let anyone else be the arbiter of truth. I like to see all evidence and arguments laid out and a thorough investigation into various possible motivations before I believe anything either way.

It's important to stay positive. When you've been in that kind of environment you learn to appreciate either normal people or just the absence of people. Imagine your life without it; you'd never know how lucky you were!

I can't find that she said what the title suggests. She said she'd advise to be cautious about marrying her. What she did say though is that promiscuous men tend to keep it going throughout life, whereas promiscuous women quit it and "settle". In retrospect I think that promiscuous men are doing the most sensible and kind thing instead of "settling".

/r/AntiFeminists04/01/23 04:21 PM

Marriage simply complicates a possible (and likely) separation and makes it costly for romantic notions and legal benefits. It would rather make more sense to try to have these legal benefits piecemeal through separate contracts.

Maybe it makes more sense from a hiring process perspective. Some see a candidate that has 10 jobs worth of experience. Some see the same candidate as a job hopper who will hop them too.
/r/AntiFeminists03/01/23 12:15 AM

Maybe that's true, but it's not unreasonable to suspect a person will continue in their established pattern rather than break from it. The body count, to a person interested in a relationship, will to them oftentimes be intrinsically linked to failed relationships. Of course it is also possible to compartmentalise, but it's not uncommon not to. Perhaps an ability to compartmentalise sex and relationships shows a difference in values they're not interested in as well.
/r/AntiFeminists03/01/23 12:05 AM
10

Very few people change their trajectory. A person with a lot of failed relationships will tend to keep on doing that. Their conduct simply becomes their normal. However if you don't intend anything serious and won't get your finances entangled and so on then I don't see why not. For serious old school relationships the bar has to be set pretty high.

Sometimes you may like someone, but find evidence that suggest your future together will be difficult and full of problems. Like going with the pole vaulter that failed the height you want them over 300 times, but on a personal level you liked them.
/r/AntiFeminists02/01/23 11:46 PM
13

If the amount of prior sex is proportionate to failed relationships then it's not reasonable to expect you're going to be the success. It's not like "oh wow this applicant has 300 jobs as prior experience" but rather "this pole vaulter failed that height 300 times"

If I were the relationship for life kind of guy I would probably only care about it if it was brought up or came up in some way. People's past can become a liability if it doesn't stay in the past.

Many men have it so miserable that at an opportune moment they cling to "a way out" and into some perceived happiness. Oftentimes women represent a way out due to romantic notions of love etc. ...and then they get a cold shower as they wake up to reality and just quit like this. Romantic notions and such are usually pretty harmful to men and should be tempered by a hefty dose of realism.

There's basically nothing a man can do to stop a woman from doing such things. Women told to not do it or else they'll be dumped simply do it anonymously. Heck it might even encourage the behaviour to tell a woman that it's forbidden. Maybe realise there's more important things to consider than whatever women do with their bodies. I know I'd just be endlessly entertained if women had so little important things to do so as to be overly concerned about what I did with my body.

If this is concerning to you then you've probably messed up; a woman's sexual life should be of very little importance to you.

The country will not get better or more education from feminism as it focuses on being combative or similar rather than claiming an education. Most feminists are, at the end of the day (even supposed radical ones), not willing to abandon their society for a better one. They would rather complain or waste time attempting to reform, from a (to them) the safe position of at least having a spot in it rather than leave. Clever and resourceful ones simply leave and go do what they want to do. That's n…

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and population dense. Some sources I looked at suggest the average intelligence in Nepal is low. Knowing that the distribution of intelligence is usually on a bell curve that means you're mostly in contact with a bit dumber people than usual around the world. So that perfectly explains your experiences. Feminism isn't going to change any of that.

The word incel has had the same problem as feminist. It's a label, but the label has become more associated with a group of people rather than being a pure descriptive definition. Words tend to cease to be useful when there's a lot of confusion or disagreement about what they mean.

I think one of those reasons is that some are inclined to force their will on others and need to be discouraged to do so. Such discouragement I think will naturally occur either during or after an act of rape. However if people in a group are a blank slate such social dynamics will have to form somehow. There are many reasons why rape occurs and I think it is too simple to say it is because it is somehow (as the picture OP posted suggests) encouraged; to me it seems strongly discouraged. Most ki…

Available statistics may suggest that it is usually males going to the length of unsolicitedly showing their genitals to others. I think female exhibitionists tend to keep that to the Internet.

I bet that if you take a bunch of women and men and put them on an island without exposing them to any civilisation (so from birth) then a few of them will naturally be inclined to force their will on the rest. Sometimes that would involve rape. If anything social indoctrination tends to discourage that kind of behaviour rather than encourage it.

Today Feminists are holding women back by telling them they have no rights. By telling them that they can’t do anything because of the society they are in. Yeah the defeatist attitude can be very dangerous. It's often used to justify vile and dehumanising actions. You know the saying "for good people to do evil things, that takes religion". When you're raised into the belief that a social structure upheld by men to subjugate women is the cause for all their woes then it becomes easy to not care …

It's pretty difficult to have it all. Many women think men have it easier there, but the reality is that they are often ball and chained to both a career and a woman they didn't want. A career, much like a marriage, is often a railway line to somewhere you didn't really want to go (though you didn't know), but if you jump off you'll be walking slowly elsewhere and won't have any money to show for it in a long time.

To sum up why do you hate all feminist even if most of them are just normal people fighting for equal rights? Seems like a genuinely loaded question. As far I can tell being anti-something doesn't mean you hate that something; you're simply opposed to it. I also think it's a mistake to equate feminism and "the fight for equal rights". If you're concerned about cheating then you should enter into a legal contract that penalizes it (not marriage). Some seem to find that somehow gruesome, but it really is no more so than getting a ticket for speeding. Then I would say the attorney and contracts without marriage would constitute a "better marriage" and then handle it all through contract law. Basically one would need a lot of money to do this properly in order to make sure there is a penalty for infidelity.

You don't need additional contracts especially if both are providers finacially. Strictly speaking you need no contracts nor shared assets at all, but when your finances and property might end up shared it is better to make sure they are safe (remain yours or are inherited by your kids). A man can still have a pretty good old style relationship as long as he tests that the kids are really his and enters into additional contracts that penalise infidelity (which marriage does not). Purity doesn't even factor into this. It's more about not being a liability and a preference for a partner that is inconspicuous. Quite a lot of people very much prefer not to attract the attention of others in a sexual way, neither directly nor by proxy through the history of a partner. Might be that it would be in the past that I smeared big fat turds all over my body for pay, but plenty of women wouldn't appreciate that association drawn to them as my partner. Problem is that if the courts can be levied only by one party and only for one sanctioned outcome then they will be abandoned. You almost sound triggered by my comment, but it's hard to be certain from it alone. I was raised by a sailor who took me to the brothels when I was about 18 years old. So if it's true that over 30% of men aged 18-24 are involuntary celibate I think that's mostly a problem they are stuck in because of pride or something; it has to be had a certain way. To me, raised as a pragmatic, sex was never anything special or something to be coveted as it's always been available in some way.

Men have been doing that for ages now without making a big fuss about it. We mostly hear about it from women who talk about men who won't commit. I think especially feminist women keep talking about such men. Feminism sort of cut both ways. Can't have women's liberation from traditional roles without men's liberation from traditional roles. However it seems that a lot of feminists get pretty upset that men don't want the whole family thing, playing house and driving around in a station wagon for…
