You can agree with the message, yet you're still attacking the messenger. It's whataboutism and ad hominem attacks. It's trying to shift the conversation, and the result in that it's dismissing the message. You might be right that he is out of touch, but it doesn't invalidate what he is saying. Imagine a whistleblower. If a whistleblower is revealing things that are notable, whistleblowers often get attack for being part of the scandal, and maybe profiting from it. If Gervais is criticizing his …

I agree about men's day, but I don't support straight pride, all lives matter and blue lives matter movements. To be honest this sub can sometimes turn into a medium for other conservative opinions and it's disappointing. Too bad but I guess elections are coming, but this kind of post bothers me and I might unsubscribe. I don't think I'm the only one.

Even though I'm not for feminism, if female sport games can attract a female audience, on top of men who already are watching sports, then it might begin to make lots of money. I guess many, many women will start watching those sports and get interested. For now I think it's mostly men who are watching female sports. If women are not interesting in watching female sports, well then, it will really mean female athlete don't deserve to be paid as much. source: I don't watch sports at all

I have a hard believing this story, especially considering the motives of that woman. Why didn't she immediately take off after the father was down? It sounds like some kind of kidnapping experiment... Also please remind me, why do people kidnap babies?

To be honest women are like weather. It's not the men' fault, but masculinity is about surviving any weather. Women need men. When they feel like it. And you can't criticize them for it. But we also should be indulgent towards men for their masculine behavior. Jeez what nonsense

Humans have been smart for a very long time now. It's the idea that we can be civilized robots that is messing with us.

I don't. But some people think that we should become over civilized people. It's not possible, we are not robots, we're mammals.

Well in nature, men are indeed disposable, while uterus are a limiting factor for reproduction. The thing is, do we really want to reproduce the laws of nature? If that'd be the case, rape would happen much more often in nature.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 04:28 PM
2

I don't remember where I've read it, but females being smaller derive from an evolution of women being more dominated sexually. Not sure if it means that rape is part of our dna, and by that i mean before the apparition of law and civilized society, because our DNA haven't changed that much since then.

Every person you're seeing was made, and got out of a woman. I'm pro men's right by the way. Although I'm sure women would somehow feel bothered by such a statement "every person around you got out of a vagina". It's making me laugh because there is really nothing to be ashamed of, yet many women would seem to feel like it's disrespectful of women, or somehow inappropriate to talk about the vagina, yet men like to talk about dick.

Well celebrities will be more exposed to those kinds of situations where fame is a problem. Other than that, you're right, niceguys do exist because of this wave of feminism, where one can have no clue how to interact in a dating context, because you always have to be careful with what you say and do. It's like the male sexual impulse have been criminalized. One day women will realize porn is channeling male sexuality so efficiently that men have much less desire to deal with bullshit.

I have developed a different approach for offering constructive criticism to male and female employees. When I have something to say to one of the men, I just say it! I don’t think it through – I simply spit it out, we have a brief discussion and we move on. They even frequently thank me for the feedback! Not so fast with my female staff. I plan, I prepare, I think, I run it through my business partner and then I think again. I start with a lot of positive feedback before I feel that I have cush…

Mind blown. A service economy and access to education for women really changed everything. I'm really not surprised by this. It really feels like women are more employable today in the modern world than before. Unless a man is en engineer or works in IT, he probably won't earn that much money. Their lawyer, Jon Parsons, said the female leadership — Yahoo's chief executive was Marissa Mayer, before Verizon bought the company — had gone too far in trying to hire and promote women. He tied the suit into today's women-in-tech movement. Ok well I have less respect for Marissa Mayer now. This story aside, I guess everyone needs to step back a little and look and how things are outside of the developed world. Yeah that's what I do, I just let them be wrong by their own self. I just say that I disagree and that it's okay and everything. By definition it perpetuates the idea that women are over emotional people that cannot think using reason. I guess, why not, after all?

Well historically it is a woman's sport. I guess because it is a mix of rugby and graceful, stretch-those-hips coollish sport. It has some kind of punk culture attached to it. I have no idea. One aspect is that once men don't want to play a particular sport, women swarm into it to make it their own. Until you see men team appear haha. Having a pair of roller skates with stickers on it is also a girly thing. So the gear and the shirts also makes it interesting. One other side is that it is a cont…

Sadly it seems like another reason to not have kids in those days. Men are now just seen as bears looking for honey until they make money. My father already had quite a hard time getting things right with my mother in law, and he never did, and he and I suffered the consequences. I'm not going through what he went through. Sadly the only solution might only come from courageous women who will stand up and stop this shit. There are some. Can we have hope in Emma Watson? One day maybe.

The "devoted spouse" is a myth to me. Making a woman happy in a marriage is pretty difficult in today's world (feminism, equal pay, etc). Unless a woman is submissive enough and agrees to not be the leader, it might be an issue. Often women dislike men because of tiny ridiculous issues, so those women try to improve the situation by teaching their husband to do it the way they like it, and it always lead into a fight, because most men don't like to be treated like boys, especially by someone the…

It won't make them earn testosterone wages, but it will surely get out of the stay at home mom ideal. at least it will show women that the industry need different skills. some women deal with it, some don't. you have to understand that two generations ago, women did not have the same jobs, except maybe during WW2 to build weapons. What a strawman argument. Maybe there are not as many women ready to be leaders. You can't really blame neither men nor women, society is how it is... you can't really imply that today, society don't like women as leaders. The number of female leaders increased, so that's a start I guess ? You should also try to understand that society has socio economics concepts, rules and social contracts. Those contracts are arbitrary and are not perfect, but they help society grow in a relatively fair way, …

keep telling stories to shut the mouth of idiots, but don't keep arguing for too long. arguing with legislators and people who do studies is more important. No need to shoot if you're ready to shoot, only shoot if you're feeling threatened. I mean pointing a gun at your attacker might make him stop attacking you. But I guess if you think your attacker needs to die because he assaulted you, and if the law allows you to get away with and you're sure you won't feel any remorse, go and pull the trigger. I mean, hell, go in bad neighborhoods, insult people, wait for them to assault you, you could make a nice score. Nice logic, don't know if it's ethical.

To be fair, this woman might just want some company, and if you're manly enough you can push down her "cuddly" advances, although it would be difficult to explain to your gf that you went to see that woman. I feel bad for her, she still sounds a little off by threatening rape though, so of course I'd be cautious. Well that's how reddit works, there are no real ways around it, moderating is a hard problem. I guess you could solve those problems by creating a subreddit which only deal with hot, sensitive issues like those, and allow a very well moderated discussion. I think all of this lacks a really fair debate. There are many subreddits which have an anti subreddit. Maybe create threads which debate the point and are not especially leaning forward a certain opinion. There should also be a place where you…

Well ok, it's sexist then, but it's not really a bad opinion either, women and men are actually different, so the fact that problems arise when minding equality can't be avoided, it will be talked about until there's progress about it. We live in a massive society, things go fast, and it requires a few ground rules, but it can't kill gender. After reading the comments, that's exactly the type of thing I don't like about the so called seduction game. See, in relationships, from start to end, guys are the active ones, and girls tend to be the reactive ones. But at least it's like that for younger girls, which seem to always lack confidence, something us men don't seem to have any problem with. (or at least, it's less a problem).
