-1	Circumcision violates human rights Never did I say that because a small amount of people have webbed feet, it means we should circumcise nearly everyone - that’s a straight up strawman of my argument. And what is your deal with asperger’s, maybe you’re projecting onto me? I’m positive you don’t know what Aspergers means if you think your previous statements in any way support me having Asperger’s. I can assure you I’m not Where did I write “give consent” - I only wrote that in brackets to highlight the fact that babies can’t give consent. 1	Circumcision violates human rights I’m not arguing for why you should do it, because I’m not saying it’s something that needs to be done - I’m just presenting the other side of the argument as to why it’s not illegal and how it’s different to some of the correlations some people were making here. 0	Circumcision violates human rights Again saying someone is wrong isn’t an argument and not informative in any way to the person you’re trying to correct. I never said you can provide proxy for a labiaplasty at all? I was comparing labiaplasty as similar in how it’s done in a majority of cases in health care facilities with surgeons who have training. 2	Circumcision violates human rights Can you articulate any clear and compelling reasons to support your arguments instead of just making broad sweeping statements without providing evidence for anything you say? Was I talking about botched circumcisions? No. Obviously if it’s botched then it’s done incorrectly. And it still doesn’t make the “technique” crude at all - the technique is developed through research and testing I’m appalled that you’d find scientific research and evidence insulting. I get the point of causing potentially unnecessary harm and putting a baby through a painful experience when it can’t “give consent”. However there are also things which I feel haven’t been properly represented in this thread. First the issue of consent in babies is a very gray and vague area.
