Same thing happened in my social psych class. The instructor brought it up to see what the reaction would be and 95% of the women in the class thought it was funny. Instructor was pissed, and flipped the story to be about a woman being mutilated, and asked what they thought then. They seemed to have lost their "sense of humor" after that.

I second this. My friend at college was having this same issue. He finally yelled at her and told her to stop harassing him. She left him alone for good.
