I wanted to be, I thought we could, we co parented but then she met a guy who wanted her to have nothing to do with me and it made things tough, shame really we'd known each other our whole lives.

I'm from Vincennes but living in Terre Haute at the moment. I miss Evansville I used to go there all the time, I've only been to Louisville a couple times.

Not so much the sex out of marriage thing I'll take it any way I can get it but I see myself being alone and sexless for the rest of my life and at 56 that sucks.

If you sleep in your car find a truck stop and sleep there or in the end of a Walmart parking lot. Also most hotels will give you a weekly rate that's cheaper than paying by the day.

I let the ex have everything I really wasn't in a place to have him 50/50 she was really good with letting me see/ have him whenever I wanted though I took him on several week long vacation trips.

Same, pictures of babies first steps, family trips, so many sentimental items, I've never asked what my ex did with all the pictures we had we had dozens of photo albums, I really hope she didn't just trash everything.

Just my opinion but only 3 months is way to soon to be starting another relationship after divorce.

Had to go thru the whole she felt abused for years during the marriage when I never abused her physically or mentally hell we never fought or argued things were always good between us at least I thought so anyway I lost a lot of friends and some of my reputation because of these "abuse" allegations and it still hurts to this day to think there are people out there that think I was like that towards her.

I'm in my 50's now dating sucks at any age but as you get older it's almost impossible to find someone that also makes things hard.. Thanks for your comment I appreciate it and it means a lot to know there are people out there.

Dont think the topic was to get into what happened just to say how old you were during said divorce. I'm really not comfortable talking about it, but no that's not the case it's much more complicated as divorces usually are.

Together for 20 divorced at 40, half our lives together, now we're total strangers.
