Doesn’t matter the income, they always pull the same thing. They act like they can leave you, take your money, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Luckily the courts are slightly more fair these days

I'm gonna be blunt here. In my opinion, cheating is extremely disrespectful to your partner. It's a mixture of lying/dishonesty and being unloyal. Two traits that are foundations to a good relationship. At the very least you need to be open with your partner and let him know what's going on. That said, if I was a friend to your partner I would advice him to strongly consider divorce or at least serious marriage counseling. As far as the dead bedroom goes, that's something you two should have dis…

I'm not a lawyer but from my understanding of the laws, she's allowed to invite whoever she wants and you can't restrict it. Same rule applies to you as well if you wanted to get petty. If you have children you could use this behaviour against her but that's about it. It sucks, I dealt with the same thing, luckily I have the power to kick out my ex.

Yep! I was mad about how easy my ex had it post-divorce. She ignored our two kids except when it was convenient, seemed to have fun partying and playing around. Well five years later I’m pretty much guaranteed to get full custody if I can actually serve her. She is homeless and bouncing between homes, she has been on and off drugs, and she is unemployed. When she was with me, I helped her get a car, she didn’t have to worry about any bills, and she had a stable life. Of course she decided to spe…

Don't shit where you eat. I agree with this completely! There is always a chance for a relationship to fail and when it does, the last thing you want is to see them every day where even going to work isn't an escape from them. I did this one time and once things ended (with much drama), it became everybody's business at work and it was just a mess. It's much better to date someone outside of work so that if/when things end you can walk away from it and ignore her much more easily.

That last piece bit me hard and was one of a few hundred reasons why I’m going through divorce now.

The only thing I am going to hate from this is that it may bring Lifehacker also. I never went to any of their other sites, but occasionally Lifehacker had some interesting articles.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
