The comment at the bottom is pretty damn shortsighted as well.

I really hope their is some context to make this message warranted. There is no reason for doing this out of nowhere.

They only "get it" because it will sell more coke. They care about profit, not people.

This snopes article seems to suggest this story is mostly anecdotal and not entirely accurate. It’s possible that two unnamed men were arrested in New York City for manspreading, but no details about the claim were made available in the original report or any of the many later repetitions of it. The scant information suggested that the men were arrested not for manspreading but for arrest warrants already active at the time they came to the attention of the NYPD. And the signage that the other d…

This just seems to be more of a meme issue at this point. There are far bigger issues in the men's rights movement (workplace deaths, military deaths, custody battles, etc). Taking a picture of a woman taking up two seats with no context of the amount of passengers and open seats is stooping to their level of idiocy. Of course Do you disagree with me? Would you not move if you were taking up yours and the last available seat?

Yea, me saying that nobody complains in real life was more of an anecdotal statement. I've never heard anyone bitch about it. It's fucked up that they've attached the male sex to taking up multiple seats on public transit but would the police really discriminate against a man or woman who is taking up multiple seats if it was reported? The bigger problem here is that feminists created a stupid little 'movement' about the issue. Edit: also said 'pretty sure' but you take it as an absolute. And I'…

It doesn't mention if the person arrested was outright refusing to move for somebody that wanted to sit. I doubt that they just walked on and arrested him because his legs were spread too far. Don't know for sure though the article is kind of shit. Edit: Since this was downvoted this is from a snopes article on the incident. It’s possible that two unnamed men were arrested in New York City for manspreading, but no details about the claim were made available in the original report or any of the m…

I'm pretty sure nobody complains about manspreading irl. And most people who are doing it would gladly let somebody sit if needed.
