If you refer back to my original use of the word, that was really my point. If you refer back to your original use of the word, you'll find that you only equated approaching you with "objectifying" you, without offering any details or further explanation. the increase in attention I've been getting since I moved can at best be flattering, at worst make me wonder for a second if everyone thinks that the impact I'm supposed to have on the world is to be something to ogle. The increase in the atten…

Here's Wikipedia's definition of "objectifying": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_objectification Sexual objectification refers to the practice of regarding or treating another person merely as an instrument (object) towards one's sexual pleasure ... Objectification more broadly is an attitude that regards a person as a commodity or as an object for use, with little or no regard for a person's personality or sentience. The problem with moaning about men "objectifying" you is that they're biol…

Good thing she wasn't talking about Seddit and people here labeling her on the 1-10 scale. She equated men approaching her in the real world to men objectifying her, and that's just bullshit.

After several years I still haven't figured out where the boundaries lie exactly because I don't actively test them, but it can be confusing. Would you really need to "test" something like flirting with another guy in front of him?

What do you mean "again"? This is the first time you've responded to me. Stop saying that "all girls do things". Good thing I didn't claim anything about ALL women. But this I do claim: "the vast majority of attractive women treat good men like shit when they try to approach them". I noticed you mentioned you're a woman in another message, so I used "you" in the general sense, as in, "women".

By the way, a pretty, roughly 22 year old woman recently ceased communications with me because I felt uncomfortable telling her I'm 35 myself, and tried to avoid the issue with a somewhat poor joke. I'm only human, and it's natural for me to worry when says something that amounts to expressing "concern" about my age. But that was it then. No more messages from her, ever. How's that for judging me on what kind of person I am? Not only that, but this shit is standard procedure for women. You'll re…

Maybe it says something about our society as a whole when people are judged less on the person that they are, and more on their physical appearance. Right, and do women judge us on our personalities?

By me right now in relation to how this sub will be moderated. Why yes. That's what I hinted at. In the same vein this may not be society's definition, I don't care. We also buck the trend on misogyny You say it like society's definition would be close to mine, but what with all those hypersensitive sheeple roaming around, it's actually much closer to yours. We're bucking the trend only with "misogyny". Did I say that? No, I didn't. I was VERY specific about what I said. Your definition of racis…

In our culture the honest man stays at the bottom, and the ones at the top do shady things to stay at the top. Well, politicians are full of shit, yes, and you don't get to be a member of "The Elites" without being at least sleazy and probably a sociopath too. But that's separate from "the normal world", where you can actually do well for yourself even despite being honest (and sometimes even because of it).

Most of the problems that fapstronauts have seem to have their roots in the use of escalating porn and the time it is consuming. This of course is being combined with fapping but fapping gets most of the blame while (imo) it is porn that is the one that is worst of the two. Exactly.

There's comfort when they submit to their love. I've been there, it is truly the easy way. There's hope in waiting for the one. Thinking only good things about the other sex keeps people happy. True, reality is a fucking harsh place. Although living in it has its benefits, it's depressing.

Society has taught him that you are above him because you have a vagina. You might want to teach him that you two are equals. Remember, he means well, and it's not his fault. He wants to show you he cares and values you as a human being, and as a woman and a partner. You could even go all out and tell him that his "submissive" behaviour is making your biological buttons tell you to copulate with someone more assertive.

Do you like women, or (still?) hate them? I think I'm leaning towards hate myself, for now at least. But I feel like I need to have some positive feelings towards whoever I'm having sex with to enjoy it, and that might be kind of difficult if I don't like women. So, I'm wondering.. I read Seddit for a long time, and now, after spending some time here on RedPill, I feel like Seddit offers a healthy balance between Blue Pill and all of the harshness of reality. It's just as likely that if someone had told you the way women actually work (back in the days of your Full Chode Mode) you'd have scoffed. You could have developed an immediate and irreversible bias against The Truth as you now know it, thereby dooming you to be a chode forever. People in general have a strong aversion to adjusting their views/beliefs on pretty much anything. But if I managed to do it in 2009, I could have done it in 2000. Lifting weights is a great way to feel more like a man. OK, and what exactly does it mean to "feel like a man"? -Some things/behaviours are commonly considered "manly", but if you haven't been acting like that naturally, why would it be particularly fulfilling to do it now? Women don't exist to make men happy, they exist to keep men in some sort of limbo between misery and very brief intermittent happiness. Something like that, I guess :P Think about it, men always try to please women in some way. That's because the woman is the one who can actually pop out a continuation of our species. I try not to make myself aware of the "harsh" realities. Well, the better aware of Reality you are, the better equipped you are to make informed decisions in life. They're right about nice guys expecting something - they expect women to appreciate their positive personality traits, just like society tells us women would! It really makes sense too! Why would a woman not like a guy who's kind, gentle, smart and jovial? But no..

If you can't find basic information like that on your own, I'm sorry for you kid. It's alright to ask. Instead of responding with a smugly condescending "LMGTFY" like some self-important douchebag, you can just answer someone's question, or ignore it.

the bar will rise though as more men go the red pill way Yeah, it's not like it's difficult enough now.. :p

Have you noticed women being aware of "pickup"? (And what did they think about it?)
/r/TheRedPill24/01/13 08:35 PM

Yeah, I guess. Well, the next question then becomes: "How bad is it that it's gone mainstream?" :p

Yep, that will do :p

Some people there even talk about "PUAs". I wonder how mainstream it is already.

You're lowballing your estimate too, because the girl and her thread were presented to RedPill as something to circle-jerk over.
/r/TheRedPill24/01/13 07:34 AM

So basically you gave her a lower-than-accurate rating, and immediately proceeded to admit that it should be higher.. Why not just rate her accurately right away? :p

See if you could choose a man the way society tells us you would.. :p You know, appreciate his kindness, gentleness and intelligence, and like him for his good qualities as a human being. If you can do that, you might actually be happy with a "Nice Guy" (in a positive sense). Remember, any confident, exciting guy who can get you, can get lots of other women too. And will.

Alright. Well, what about the loneliness angle? Even if you're still doing fine at 45 or something (which is a comforting thought), there will be a time when you can't just pick up a hot young(er) woman whenever you want/need one. Do you think you'll be content to just give up, or would you rather be with someone then?

It appears we're biologically wired to not want to be alone, though. There's that, at least. I could rattle off a dozen ways my girlfriend benefits from our relationship. Care to list a few? You're unhappy, but you love her.. Is the problem mainly this perceived imbalance in the ways you benefit from the relationship?

Your face will be a big help though, since it's the most important element in a woman's attractiveness, and judging by the body picture, 25% is just fine. Some would consider 25% ideal. At any rate, there's no need to be below 25%. I think it's definitely possible for you to find someone, and I'm not just saying this to "be nice". It's an honest assessment.

Obviously he feels it's very important, because he's still under the illusion that women are noble, sensible creatures.

The fact that videos like this even need to be made makes me kinda fucking sick with the way we live today i mean seriously? you are now having to tell people to distinguish between rape and legitimate courting? I bet you know where he's coming from though. Most of us have been there. This guy is well-meaning, smart and articulate. He's just a victim of our (white) Western culture, much like most people here.

I recently read Roosh's post about his flame-war with Jen McCreight, and it annoyed me how he grossly overstated her unattractiveness. She's just not that ugly, and even if she were, it would be irrelevant to whether her arguments have any substance or not. So yeah. Lameness like that kind of makes you wonder if Roosh himself was on solid footing in that argument.

No shit? So what exactly was your point with this: Religion created every last civilization on earth. It works. Why have humans always had religion, and what is it useful for? .. Besides, you know, its elites' personal gain?
/r/TheRedPill16/01/13 03:04 PM

I doubt religion was born out of some group of people's desire to advance human civilization. It's much more likely they just had the idea of harnessing existing superstition for their personal gain, status/wealth/power/control. So, if you're working some kind of Common Good angle here, I don't believe it's accurate. Either way, religion is incompatible with sanity in 2013.

What are you trying to say? I guess you're religious too.

Because being religious means being insane? Worshipping imaginary beings is not exactly Red Pill -material, is it?

In my extreme-desperation AFC days, I used a website to message with Ukrainian girls, and actually went to Odessa to meet a handful of them, with one "primary choice". Naturally, there's a lot of bullshit going on in these circles, but I believe I really was about to get together with a super-sweet and kind and smoking hot 9.5 (4 - 10 scale), but the interpreter arranged through the website decided not to let me see her again. In hindsight, she probably just wanted a "bribe", but I was too innoc…

In Japan, it's mostly the wives controlling the husbands' salaries. They typically just stay at home while the husband slaves away as a "sarariiman".

I believe it could actually work. I wasn't looking for a wife, but it almost worked for me.

What raises my eyebrow is the notion that you have to be sexually dominating to a woman. Yep, I don't like that either.

Oh don't worry, I've lived in Reality for years now. It's a pretty fucking harsh place, and it's not only about the evils of women you know. if you're going to rely on "So you've only bagged one?" or other "Yeah right you're probably a neckbeard" style comments, you will find yourself without posting privileges very quickly. You did notice the "Sorry, couldn't resist" there, didn't you? And it is, in fact, logical to doubt people's claims on the Internet. There's no need to get upset and threate…

I'm new on this subreddit, and feeling a bit ambivalent about it. I agree with sticking up for yourself and not putting pussy on a pedestal etc, but some people here come off as some kind of bitter, possibly unhealthy posers/keyboard jockeys/internet tough guys, etc. And yeah, I'm bitter about women and having lived an AFC life too. But still.. something seems off here. My result speaks for itself So you've only bagged one? :p Sorry, couldn't resist. But.. oh I don't know, "pics or it didn't hap…
