Yeah sometimes it felt like that during talking, like it was sped up to get to the kissing, and other times there was no space for conversation at all, haha. Thank you so much! :-)

I totally agree! I think it was also attributed to his personality and ultimately reflected how he engaged with me. Later on we spoke about that moment and he told me he wasn’t nervous because he was there to spend time with me and not goal oriented to kiss me necessarily -which is where I felt the other guys’ reasons were. So instead of treating the conversation as a filler for me to get comfortable he was actually engaging with me and the mood that we created together through connecting was th…

We grew up together, I never noticed him really and I think it was because of the age gap (although I noticed I’ve always inclined to liking older men). I have a vague memory of having a crush on him when I was like 13 but I was so young I just dismissed it. It developed into something when I asked him to teach me to play the guitar. Regarding the age gap, my parents were 5 years apart and they never minded the age gap and I think it’s because of our culture (Hispanic) and the fact that we knew …

I guess that’s what it seems like but even after those bad first times with the few I chose to date passed that initial bad kiss, they got better and eventually I enjoyed it. But with him I enjoyed it from the get go, so I truly think he was naturally just a good kisser. He has never disappointed me.

I love that you asked this! So my personal experiences prior to meeting my fiancé usually went with the guy throwing himself at me, leaving me with a wet mouth I had to wipe. The kissing moments were rushed and hasty and were more pleasurable for them than they were for me (judging from their reactions). When I shared my first kiss with my fiancé, we actually were sitting on a mountainside having a great conversation. I felt like he was there seeing me, listening to me and actually there to know…

My fiancé was M(24) when I met him and he shared that he had never kissed anyone prior to me F(18) at the time. At first I didn’t believe him but I was so touched by how pure that was. Edit: And not once did I ever judge him on that, if anything it made me feel so special. I was also his first girlfriend. And by the way, when we did finally have our first kiss, it blew me away... like I had seen in movies how people would describe them as “magical” and I always thought it was bullshit but that k…

Hey! I wanted to see if you’d be open to share your experience on the pros/cons of getting surgery... my little sister has scoliosis and she suffers so much. I want to see if there’s a way for her to have some relief from the constant pain. Sincerely, Big Sister.

You could go with, “what don’t you like about it.” I think it’s just being able to come up with tag questions and when they respond to them you add your own opinions, stories, etc. If she continues to not respond with interest, then that’s it, she’s just not interested no matter how good your questions are, and at that point it’s your job to understand that.

Try asking open ended questions. Instead of asking something like, “do you like to go to the park” that warrants a “yes/no” response ask a question that gives space for explanation: “What do you like about going to the park.” Use tag questions like, “Do you like going to the park? Or if you don’t, why not?” So a tag question can just be a simple follow up statement that suggests more detailed answers or more information on a certain topic. Hope this helps!

I don’t know if a woman’s opinion would weigh much on this post but I think it’s worth a try. I’m a 5’0 Latina and have dated both men that are 6’0 and men below that. I’m engaged to a man who’s 5’5-5”6ish I never had this hidden agenda to date a man who’s significantly taller than me. And I know some will say that height won’t matter to someone who’s short for like LOL but still... I can only speak for myself, but I recognize how women will joke about men’s height the way men joke about women’s…

I see your point, there’s a lot of “this is how to treat a lady” kind of rules but the truth is that women now are also utilizing the “ok I got hurt by a few guys so I’m gonna be a bitch and use others to my benefit” ideology likewise men. I just hate how in this generation there’s that lack of transparency. If we were to just make our intentions known from the start, and well of course leaving enough ambiguity for the flirting to be enjoyable but not to end up hurting someone you know. And I fe…

I like to share this with men because I don’t feel that you guys hear this enough. You have to know your worth, if you feel that a woman you’re interested in is playing around with you, confront her, out her in an uncomfortable position by asking the intentions behind the games. Anyone who’s got the bad intention and can get away with it will take advantage. At the end of the day I feel that we all (regardless of gender) should not lose that innate (nice guy/girl) within us because of a few assh…

Just bring it up in casual conversation. I don’t think you should ask someone during sex... besides anal isn’t an easy slip in as vaginal sex so it’s going to take a lot of communication. My first time with my boyfriend didn’t go well at all because it was in the heat of the moment and we were not prepared. I got hurt in the end but then we had a talk about it and well it’s been better since then.

Sadly, some girls will enjoy playing around with nice guys- not cool. I’d say to confront her and ask her what her intentions with you are. Put her on the spot and ask her what all these back and forth/ on and off messages mean. You’re worth more than this and don’t deserve to be tossed around as someone’s play thing. If she evades the questions then I’d just put an ultimatum, like you want me or not. I hope this helps, and wish you the best!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
