1	CMV: No fault divorce makes marriage pointless Maybe the issue is with your definition. Marriage can be a legal contract. Maybe that’s the problem. If it’s just a legal contract, why do it? Makes no sense. If marriage is a covenant between all parties and God (assuming you believe in God (biblical marriage)), then there are real consequences. 2	Why is promiscuity encouraged? Generally, men are wired for sex. Men are also societally formed to think a higher “body count” is a good thing. Men will do what women allow them to do. Women have become “sexually liberated” more so in the past decade. Women are taught to “own” their sexuality. Essentially, this can means that many women are more comfortable in “celebrating” their sexuality by engaging in it more vs in times past where they held more societal value in being chased or having a lower “body count”.
