That's not what I'm saying at all. It could be that I wasn't reading the NOW bill clearly enough. I would never propose that kids don't see their dad or that father's don't get custody. What I am arguing is that dad's shouldn't have to fight 3x as hard. Given the mother and father fight equally, the winner of majority custody should go to the person most qualified regardless of gender to care for the child.

I disagree. I've stated that 3rd wave feminism gives feminism a bad name and is toxic for everyone. I agree that both men and women should be involved in custodial hearings. I hear you. Everyone should be given their fair chance.

I don't see anything in the statement from the house bill that NOW was opposing as specifically controversial or problematic. It's simply stating that the child's needs should be first rather than the needs or wants of the parents. It doesn't really discuss the problem of men not receiving child custody. I find it interesting that your argument would make sense in context of 2nd wave feminism specifically because equality of men and women is paramount in the theory. Approaching feminism in this …
