1	Young women warned over December car insurance rise [Entitlement Ahoy!] I think it's fair to base the initial quote, before you have an established driving history, on demographics. For example, it's more expensive to get a car insured in some cities because the rate of theft is higher even though your specific neighborhood may be very safe. Also I think there have been recent explorations into the disparity of pay and often it's because for many higher-up positions, salary is negotiated rather than specifically earned. So someone who is better at negotiating for salary -- someone who is more aggressive -- is likely to get a higher salary. However, as far as I can tell this is just some white guy and sorry but invading someone's personal space in this context (a stairwell in a parking garage -- hello? Am I the only one who's watched CSI or Law & Order) absolutely counts as aggressive. And she walked away, not him. If you fight against girls-only programs then you have to make sure that in coed situations girls have all of the same opportunities to express themselves.
